Barton Cliffs The northernmost point of shore rises high above the ocean, where the waves crash against the rocks with a threat of certain death. Falling from this height would not be good. A crater from an undisclosed incident some years ago mar the grassy earth near the cliff's edge; this is a place where bad things happen.

A single shaft of light shines through the night, illuminating the center of the crater. A tiny glint of glass, a soft glow in the dark, and one might notice the marble that rests in the crumbling dirt. Quote: ResurrectColor: White Transfer your own stat points to an ally. And finally, they were here.
Here. Here. The map said here. But... he didnt' feel like looking. Not right now...
He slumped forward and fell to his hands and knees. From there, he fell down onto the ground.
Just close his eyes and sleep. Yeah. Sleep...
He had been marbleless for nearly 12 hours now. It had clearly taken its toll on him.

Eileen rushed forward as soon as she had crested the side. "Isaroku-san!" her shrill cry echoed along the crater. She hurriedly checked him over...nothing but standard first aid training for this lieutenant. From what she could tell, he was just exhausted. She glanced back and downwards. Lyendi would be a while yet it looked like, but she'd be here soon enough. Still, she was frantic. She looked about, and even Eileen could not miss the shining white shaft of light amidst the near pitch dark.
Quickly, Eileen darted down the crater, sliding and skidding along smoothly. She performed a smooth 180 and spread her legs a bit even as she reached down. Her feet slid past on either side of the marble, illuminating her frame in brilliant white and blinding her for a moment. Still, her trailing hand snagged the marble. "...a marble helped me...hopefully it's not the wounds..." she dashed and scrabbled back up the crater's side, and when the going got too rough, she tucked Sentaku into the collar of her jumpsuit, and went down on all fours. She tried again. And this time she was able to just barely pull herself up. She winced. Her fingers were bleeding, and she'd certainly cracked a few nails. Still she rushed the rest of the way. It was nothing to what Ikari had endured, and she made a quiet vow that she could stand up to at least that much before she complained. She rushed over to him just as Lyendi climbed the last few steps. Then Eileen hurriedly found his Mark, and pushed the marble into it.

Left shoulder. There was the mark. The marble slid in, and Ikari opened his eyes.
Power. UNLIMITED POWER! MWAHAHAHA!
Or at least, so he felt. His body felt refreshed, charged, ready to go. Just how long had he been out.
He pulled himself up, taking a stand before Eileen.
Then, slowly, two and two came together in his head. He checked his mark. White, not pink... so then... treasure?
He frowned over at Eileen, still not entirely certain he was happy with this outcome.

Anji had climbed up to the top of the cliffs, yet paused at the unexpected sight which greeted him. At first he paused, unsure of what to do. There were people up here. Marble carriers. This could get extremely awkward if he wasn't careful. Creating a second mirror image of himself, the two Anji's walked forward so that they were visible to the others before coming to a halt, remaining eerily still as he regarded them...

Her voice was soft, and she clutched a fierce looking doll in one hand. Her thick but clingy flightsuit looked worn, and her brown hair very dusty. In fact, about the only thing on her that didn't look used at all was a silver bracelet with three wing adornments sprouting out of it. A small oval stone suspended on a chain dangled from it. She had a look of concern for her two teammates, both of whom did not look to be in the best of conditions. The samurai had several serious bandages, and his clothing was worn and torn all over. The pink haired elf seemed a bit exhausted.
Eileen did not see any of the three of Anji, but the other two did. She blinked and turned around. "....nani...?"

The two Anji's stood silently for a moment longer, as the girl turned to face him and asked something. When he spoke up, his tone was cold and serious. "Are you the ones.... who killed my friend...?" he asked softly, his eye glaring at them from underneath the mask. Really, he didn't know who had killed Tormenta other than what Alm had briefly mentioned, which Anji had already forgotten within the twisted confines of his mind. So he challenged them, realizing that if they said yes that he would kill them all without hesitation....

Eileen blinked. "...ano...friend?" She shook her head, sending her long braided ponytail to swish about. "...no, we haven't killed anyone." She wasn't lying...but she didn't know about the guard she had restrained.

Anji blinked under his mask before sighing, the tension seeming to escape from him all at once, though the illusion remained next to him, mimicking him. "Ah.... I see...." he said softly, before looking over the group tiredly. He had traveled a long way in order to come here, and he hoped that he might find some clue to help his departed friend, whether that be revenge or otherwise. But now that he was here, he couldn't help but feel as though he was being foolish...

The young woman got up and dusted some of the grit from her Evangelion-styled black and white jumpsuit, taking care not to jostle the doll she clasped. It almost looked like it could be her, what with the hair style, but the clothing seemed like a cross between DBZ's Piccolo and Street Fighter III's Ibuki...well, except for the D-cell sized cylinders weighing down her shins and forearms. "...ano...are you ok?"
The fact that there were two of him that she could see didn't appear to phase her at all...well then again, she was kind of regarding them with a bit of the awe usually reserved for people who have just met their favorite movie star.

Anji couldn't help but be a bit startled when she asked him whether he was all right, his mind whizzing down a hundred different thought proccesses at once as he stood there before he responded simply. "It is hard... for me to make friends. To have one die.... is... unforgivable..." he said with a slight tone of bitterness as he tried to get out his feelings. Since Tormenta had died his thought processes had seemingly become more serious and focused, though for how long this would last was anyone's guess...

Eileen nodded quietly... "...hai...i'd feel the same way..." She bowed to him then extended her free hand. "...ano, i'm eileen patterson." That starstruck look hadn't faded, seemingly restrained only by her compassion for the situation he had described himself in.

Anji hesitated a moment, worried about a possible betrayal or misjudging her or something. However, in the end he merely sighed and shook her hand slowly, the second Anji vanishing as he revealed himself to be the real body. He was now exposed to a possible attack if that was what she had intended. "Ah, I am... Anji." he said simply, actually pointing at himself with his free hand to emphasis the fact that it was him and not someone else...
