Durem Sewers West You'd best hold your nose. The sewer systems here are long stone tunnels, with filthy water running up to the average person's knees. A metal ladder connects the winding tunnels to the surface, and they all under Durem.

Athan was still running fairly fast. The dirty water was splashing up from his feet, hitting them all on their backsides. He was yelling for Angel to stop him again.
"Switch the marbles!!" She was yelling into his back.
A light came on in his head and he fished for the marble that he put in his pocket. Shoving it into his skin the other marble popped out onto his hand, bringing them to a complete halt. As they did Angel and Tweak sort of went flying. Oops. The large man put the marble back into his pocket.

Tweak almost managed to pull off a cool mid air flip and land on his feet. Except he really just ended up hitting a wall and kind of sliding down it. Less dizzy this time since he had gone through it once but still rather painful.
"Athan...learn to ********' stop plzkthx."
And he was up!
...Couple seconds later.
And he was down nad back up again!
He just kind of shambled his way forward before stopping at the water's edge. Thankfully, for convience and to prevent smelling this early, he had landed on the tiny embankment for workers to pass through while sewer working. Which probably put their currently location in a sort of T shape.
It would be glorious.

Angel didn't even try to do a flip, it was happening for her, except she landed back down into the smelly water. She came up, hacking and wiping sewage water from her face and hair.
"I'm getting tired of these stops. We're getting the brunt end of it. I think you should use it next time Tweak, maybe you'll do better."
It made her laugh, the idea of Tweak trying to carry Athan around on his back.
"Anyway, it's obvious we're in the sewer. Want to scope things out or continue forward?"
She trudged through the murky water to where Tweak was standing.

"Sure thing, I'll be glad to carry you people when I turn into a steroid pumper like him."
Snicker at her situation, wet and covered in sewage water. At least that was before he realized how much the place stunk. Instantly his hand was holding his nose closed as he peered around. There was not really a whole lot to see unless a tentacle monster or something was advancing down onto them.
"Pssh. Let's not try that again just yet."
He just did not want to go back up there yet because that meant Athan would probably want to have another run. Totally not going to happen. And being down here was too tight and slippy to be running like that after all...besides they had left the hatchway leading down behind and he did not see one around them right at that moment.
"And we'll go...this way!" Exit, sewer tunnel to the right, still walking on his embankment kthx.

Angel shrugged as Tweak laughed at her. "I hate to tell you but you're almost as wet as I am." She pointed to his backside, which was covered in sewage water from when they first hit.
She tried to stifle a laugh, but couldn't. Tweak was holding his nose. "Come on. I've smelt worse. This isn't all that bad."
And she couldn't agree more. She wasn't up for another run. "We didn't go as far this time. I got my bearings a lot faster this time."
Tweak now took the lead, so they followed him towards the right.
