GAIA 9 Broadcast Station Home of the only place for news in Gaia, GAIA 9. Recognizable by the giant dish and the helipad--oh, and also the sign saying GAIA 9--this is a landmark of Barton Town. Inside one will find several sound stages, offices upstairs, and a few break rooms.

Xallen and Zen reached the station. He thought it might not be such a bad idea to move toward the red light district.

And the entered again, from the fountain, just as they had left.
Going into the news station, they began asking around if anyone had heard of some mysterious goings on in the area.

Mental newsflashes were all well and good, but there wasn't much they could do about that right now...
The workers at the station didn't seem to be much help though. Odd how that was, how a bunch of people standing around doing their jobs all day could never have seen anything or do something helpful in any way.
So, of course, James took it upon himself to slip unnoticed into a stairwell.

There wasn't much they could do other than kill Fluffy that is...
But, anywho, where had Mr. Black gone to? Disa looked around.

He'd disappeared... well, almost. He was quite a sneaky b*****d, and had squirreled himself away when nobody was looking. It was something he had a lot of practice with, and it was that practice that was going to reward him right now.
Fluffy probably wouldn't have been allowed in the station, so if Disa was sitting with him she would be outside as well. And what would she hear? People starting to shout, and the sound of an engine picking up, and then - lo and behold -
Thatthatthatthatthatthatthatthat~
The GAIA 9 News chopper lifting off of the helipad atop the building while various unpaid interns shouted and shook mops at it.
It headed for the Fountain, putting some distance between itself and the pimple-faced teens trying to earn class credit.

Disa could only assume that the stolen chopper was where Black had gone to and so she and Fluffy and Mr. Epothos too of course, headed in the direction the chopper had gone.

Nope, no luck. He could not get radio signals on his MTPA. He would have to wait till they came out with a newer model. Seriously, these things were like I-Pods.

Being back in Barton brought a lot of curiosity back to Jacknife. He wondered if they had ever cleaned up the fountain area after the Chaos Viceroy had wrecked it. He decided to go check it out.
