-------------
Nagendra had called Aleksandir hours earlier and requested that he come to the house for dinner, figuring that the other male meeting his family would be best -- after all, Nikademus did the same thing... and though it didn't turn out perfect like the angel had hoped, it did turn out well... now Nagendra wanted the company of his darling wolf... he wanted Alek to meet everyone in the household...
He couldn't quite be positive about his recall, but the canine could have sworn that Aleksandir had met Jamie at the same time he, himself, met Joseph... if he had, the rabbit had said no further words on the matter, which could be considered extremely comforting, or completely nerve-wracking.
The wolf, after just completing his cleaning, sunk into the sofa with a releived sigh... thank god the house was spotless, but now there was the problem with Wyatt possibly scaring poor Alek off, or Eridanus hitting on him, or Nikademus and Jamie asking too many questions of him, or Kallik rambling on about how what they had wasn't love but... bah, it was love... or at least, Nagendra thought it was...
Such stress...

Aleksandir had received the call and spent hours getting ready. It was a little embarassing to go around to a place and have someone think you were a bum or hobo. Honestly, the wolf wanted to make a good impression on Nagendra's family.
Sighing heavily, the wolf glanced at himself in the mirror while speaking on the phone. "No, Jo, you can't come along. You're my best friend, and I love you like a brother, but even you have to admit that your attitude isn't the best." Shaking his head again, he sighed even heavier than before. "Joseph! You threatened to kill him, and I know you did. You know you did, too, so stop trying to say you didn't.
I understand that you don't want me to get hurt, but..." A brow twitched in aggrivation, "Stop interrupting me and just listen! Nagendra won't hurt me. If anything, you should worry about me accidentally hurting him!" A pause as he sat down on the edge of his bed and worked on getting his shoes on. "No, I'm not saying I'm going to hurt him but... Well, I think we're both inexperienced."
... "Yes, virgins, Joseph." Aleksandir shook his head as the feline continued rambling on, "Goodbye, Joseph." The last thing he heard was a,' James Aleksandir William, don't you dare hang up on me!' before he had closed his cell phone.
"Sorry, old friend, but I'm running late," Aleksandir whispered to himself, tucking his cell phone into his pocket. Getting into his car, he sped to Nagendra's place and got out, shutting the door, then straightening his clothes. He hadn't dressed up too nicely, but he wore something casual yet classy... something fit for a 'meeting the family' dinner.
Walking up to the door, the black wolf took a deep breath. A few more deep breaths were taken as he tried to calm himself down. "Okay, here we go..." He murmured to himself as he lifted a fist, lightly knocking on the door nervously.

"I wannnnaaa get it~" Wyatt's voice could, without doubt, be heard through the wooden door... and before Nagendra could disagree, he opened the door with so much energy, his brown hair rustled like grass in a strong wind. "... Hiya!" he offered a smile up to the other male before an anthro with green hair jumped him to the ground.
"Get out of the doorway and let the guy have some room, huh? Huh? Huh-huh-huh-huh-huh-huh-huh?"
"... Eridanus... please get off of Wyatt..." Nagendra murmured from down the hall, taking gentle steps to the door until his golden orbs met Aleksandir's green eyes. "... Welcome." he whispered in a sweet tone, getting a bit closer so he could quietly wrap his arms around the other male's waist, he slowly and gently rammed his face into Alek's chest. "To my home..."
"... Aww..." Eridanus whispered. "'Tis love..." the teasing tone didn't make Nagendra flinch in the slightest.
"... Can't... breathe..." Wyatt managed through gasping breaths. "... Get off'a... me..." Eridanus was on his feet. "Fat cat!"
"I'm all muscle!"
"Fat, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat, fat!" Wyatt argued childishly, right palm clutching his fingers to form a fist.
He pulled his face away from the warm male. "You are such a pup..." Nagendra snickered at Wyatt. "... Alek, I'd like for you to meet Wyatt..." he motioned at the other canine male... "And Eridanus." Eridanus gave a small wave of his hand, obviously seeming to be used to meeting new individuals by now. "Dinner should be ready in about ten minutes... can I get you anything to drink while you wait...?"
"I wanna smoothie!" Wyatt shook off like a wet dog, curious eyes flicking up to view Nagendra's soft features.
The wolf male merely cackled. "Alright Wyatt. And... Alek?" he smiled gently at the other.

Aleksandir blinked and smiled brightly at Wyatt, "Hello--" Breaking off, he blinked at the feline that had suddenly jumped Wyatt to the ground, smiling gently to him.
The wolf's eyes and expression went to something tender and affectionate once he heard Nagendra's voice and saw him. His green eyes shone brightly as he bit his lower lip, smile showing through his actions. He leaned into Nag as the other wrapped his arms around his waist, and ran his fingers softly through his hair when he gently rammed his face into his chest. "Thank you for inviting me, Nagendra..." Alek whispered tenderly.
Green eyes shifted to Eridanus, a blush creeping onto his face, though it couldn't be seen against his black skin. Either way, he bowed his head and kissed Nagendra's skull a few times, fingers gently tickling the back of the other wolf male's neck.
Aleksandir chuckled very quietly at Nagendra's comment. It was true, Wyatt did seem quite puppish, and he offered Wyatt a big, friendly smile, and shared the same smile with Eridanus. "Nice to meet you both."
The wolf smiled adoringly towards Wyatt, before leaning up to quickly peck a small kiss to Nagendra's cheek. "Water would be fine," He said quietly.
Inside, he was a nervous mess.

"Alright then... water..." he reminded himself, heading towards the kitchen. "Wyatt, please make him comfortable... and Eridanus... don't... help..." he repeated the words 'smoothie' and 'water' to himself several times on his exit.
"... Ah, poo..." Eridanus growled, tapping his foot and crossing his arms across his chest. "Am I not trusted...?"
"... Nope." Wyatt replied bluntly, staring at the other male wide-eyed. "... Anyhoo ~ Do'you wanna see the living room! Far as I can tell you're living, so you can go in there..." he smiled in a childish manner at Aleksandir, hopping to his feet and patting any dust particles might have formed on his -- ah crap... he had been around Connie for much too long. "Living room has television..."
"I got better entertainment for you... Wyatt can't say the word aluminum..." Eridanus broke in instantly, amusement extremely clear in his features when Wyatt's features showed he was offended.
"I can too!"
"Prove it..."
"... Alumium... Alumiumium..." the wolf decided to simply stop himself. "... Living room...?" he whimpered, obviously in defeat.

Aleksandir smiled at Wyatt, then shot Eridanus an unamused look, before smiling softly at Wyatt. Gently, he reached out and patted the smaller wolf on the head, green eyes shining softly with something akin to the affectionate look he gave Nagendra.
Wyatt reminded him so much of his own brother. "That's okay, Wyatt. There are some words that I can't say, either." Looking towards Eridanus, he smiled brightly and looked back towards Wyatt, giving him a secret little smile. "Besides, you're adorable, Wyatt, and although you can't say that word... Eridanus can't be as cute as you, and you just trying to say that word makes you ten times more adorable.
So, really, you win either way." The wolf stuck his tongue out at Eridanus playfully, and patted the feline on the shoulder to show that he was only trying to make Wyatt feel better (although with truth in his opinion), and nodded his head towards the smaller wolf once more. "I would love for you to show me the living room, Wyatt."

"Liiiivvving room~" He ran towards it, azure eyes sparkling with childish amusement on the way.
"... Damn, had I taped that I could have showed it to Nagendra and you two could of made his ego all the more higher together..." the cat sighed. He liked making fun of Wyatt -- it was a regular day thing for him... he normally got in fights with Jamie, amused looks from Kallik, unpleased looks from Nikademus, and a scolding from Nagendra... but it was all normally worth it...
It was like playing with a puppy, some people spoil it to death... and other play roughly with it... or at least, that was how Eridanus saw the whole matter.
"..." he sighed.
"Are ya comin'?" Wyatt stared back at Alek and Eridanus with quiet blue eyes, tail wagging thoughtfully behind him.

Aleksandir watched Wyatt run towards it and turned towards Eridanus. "Hm. Don't seem so sour. Us wolves have to stick together, you know. We can't just let cats run wild and stomp all over the pups," Alek smiled playfully once more before turning back to Wyatt.
"I'm coming, Wyatt," He said softly, before glancing to Eridanus. Chuckling softly, he shook his head before walking towards Wyatt. Normally Aleksandir wouldn't have said anything at all, simply would have let things settle the way they were, but... with Wyatt reminding him so much of his brother, he couldn't help but make him feel better.
Besides, Aleksandir always took a liking to everyone, it was everyone else who chose to dislike him or not. Unless, you know, they were simply pure evil... then Alek simply disliked them, but he rarely ever hated anyone...
Well... okay, so.. he hated quite a few people, but... those were all for personal reasons, and something he didn't feel obliged to share with anyone who didn't already know about it. Except for maybe Nagendra, but still, even that was a bit... well... It was a bit more complicated than that.
Hearing his phone ring in his pocket, he sighed and walked up behind Wyatt, putting a hand on his shoulder, before answering. "Hello? Oh... Joseph... what is it this time?" The wolf soon got a very irritated look on his face. "Joseph, hold on..." Turning to Wyatt, he smiled. "I have to step outside and finish up this phone call, but I'll be back in soon, okay?"
He patted the smaller wolf on the head before walking outside, looking quite unhappy as he held the phone back up to his ear, hissing quietly, "Make it quick, Joseph." Opening the door, he stepped outside and closed it quietly.
A few moments later, he was leaning up against his car, and trying not to yell into the phone, though his voice was tense and had rose slightly in volume, "Joseph! I honestly don't care what you think, okay? Do you remember what you first tried to do when we met? You're lucky I even stayed your friend after that!" A pause, before Aleksandir got into his car and closed the door, so as to lower the chances of being heard by those inside.
"Listen, Joseph... I'm sorry that you feel that I should be with you instead of Nagendra, but it doesn't work that way. When you met me, I was straight as an arrow, and you tried to make me be with you anyway. You're my best friend, Joseph..." Growling and glaring straight forward out the windshield, he growled, "Joseph... Leave Nagendra out of this... Don't ******** with me, Joseph, or I will ******** you up for life. Got it?"
Slamming the phone shut, he took deep breaths and closed his eyes, dropping the phone onto the passengers seat.

Nagendra blinked stupidly with the refreshments in his hands. "... Where's Aleksandir...?" he inquired gently to Wyatt, who was busy watching the other wolf male out the window.
"... Umm..." Wyatt's ears flattened against his skull, and he frowned to himself for having heard a bit of that conversation until Alek had gotten into the vehicle. "... He had to take a call outside..." the male whispered, turning to Nagendra. "I don'feel well... do'you think I could go to bed...?" he didn't want to chance questioning too much about something that was really none of his business.
"... What's wrong?" Nagendra placed the beverages on the coffee table. "... Do you have a headache... or...?"
"I just have a tummy ache!"
"Is that so...?" Jamie was at the entrance of the living room, and slowly the rabbit male raised a slender brow. "... Then let's get you up to bed... come on..."
"... M'kay!"
"And we can talk on the way to your room..."
"... I feel better suddenly! Oh thank Jesus!"
"Ah-uh... I don't think you look too good..." Jamie seemed annoyed, dragging Wyatt away by the ear.
----
The hallway was eerily quiet. "... Well...?" Jamie questioned, tapping his fingers against his own hip silently. "What in god's name is truly wrong...? You were fine minutes ago..."
"... I just wanna go to bed..." Wyatt replied.
"... Alright then... go..."
"Right!" he ran into his bedroom, shutting the door behind him quickly and sinking to the carpeted floor with a huff. Perhaps he was overthinking the matter? Who knew...?
----
Nagendra couldn't have looked more worried if he tried... and Jamie noted the fact. "... Wyatt will be fine... he's just tired..."
"... Alright." the wolf cast a glance to the door and sunk any bit more he could into the sofa, covering his face with his hands tiredly. "I should have asked about everyone's health before going and inviting Alek over... it's just... I was so excited, I felt well and I wanted him to meet..." he rubbed at his left eye gently.
"... Frustrations building up...?"
"How can you tell...?"
"... You're crying, Nagendra..."
He was...? Ah... the wolf hadn't realized it. "... Oh..." he shook his head gently. "But I haven't cried since..."
"... A long time...?" Jamie finished for him, sighing in deeply. Goddesses... what a mess... Wyatt never kept secrets and Nagendra never cried... perhaps he shouldn't have gotten out of the shower after all...

Aleksandir was extremely frustrated, or rather pissed off, as he gripped the steering wheel so hard that his black knuckles started to turn to a light gray, nearly white. Letting go of the steering wheel he held in the urge to hit the dash board, seeing as it was Rae's car and not his own.
Stepping out of the car, he closed the door and took a few deep breaths, anger still flashing in his eyes. He couldn't... he couldn't go through with dinner. Not like this. He had to... he had to do something... Deal with Joseph. He... definately had to deal with Joseph. But... he couldn't just leave Nagendra here.
What was he supposed to do? The wolf kicked at the curb a few times, trying to decide exaclty what in the world he was supposed to do. Making an attempt to hide the anger in his eyes, the wolf walked towards the door and slowly opened it, peeking inside.
"Nagendra...?" He called softly, stepping inside and closing it, leaning back against the door and closing his eyes. How in the Hell was he supposed to do this? Nag had been so excited over the phone when he had agreed to come over for dinner and... and leaving would just... He didn't want to ******** up. Not with Nagendra... but he was at a loss of what to do.
Was he supposed to go through dinner, pissed off, without giving an explination why? Or was he supposed to go through dinner, giving a fake reason as to why he was so upset? No. The reason was simple: Joseph. He was sure that Nagendra could understand, seeing as Joseph had the worst attitude and general behavior in the entire world.
But still, further questions could be prodded at him from Nagendra, or one of the others in the house.. and what was he to do then? Lie. No, he would not lie to Nagendra, he just couldn't bring himself to do that... but... Perhaps he should just say that an emergency came up and leave... No, technically that would still be a lie.
Dear lord, what was he to do...?

Nagendra's eyes widened and he glanced in the direction that the voice came from. "... Oh..." he murmured, slowly getting to his feet.
"You're a crying mess..." Jamie muttered. "... He's probably going to wonder why..." Nagendra stopped in his tracks... he had to admit, just because he was nervous and what-not was truly not an excuse to be crying. "... Well...?"
He rubbed the tears and stains away, looking back at Jamie with a short smile. "I'll be fine..." he whispered, and stepped out.
"... Did you call... me...?" he inquired gently, eyes catching the irritated expression in Alek's face, whether or not it was slight. "... Are you alright?" he questioned... goddesses, hadn't he just asked that same question to Wyatt? He rubbed at his eyebrow in confusion. "Umm..." Stuttering... he hoped he didn't stutter... that was truly something he didn't need right now.
"... I... suppose Wyatt's sick..." his eyes examined the other male over, hoping not to get snapped at... though it was unlikely Alek would snap at him, Nagendra shut his mouth... and denied any other words from leaving his lips.
Word vomit... goddesses, he hated word vomit as much as stuttering... the male grasped his stomach... or was this actual vomit? He ignored it and slowly, but surely... it went away... or perhaps it didn't take that long, maybe it just felt like a long time because it was quiet and he felt nervous and... bah, now his mind was babbling.

"I'm..." Alek paused and looked down towards the ground. That would be a lie. He wasn't going to lie to Nagendra. "... a little upset. Joseph called and... well... he's giving me that bad attitude again." Shaking his head softly, Alek looked back up and blinked, frowning slightly.
"Are you okay...?" Stepping forward, the wolf reached out and gently brushed his finger tips along Nag's cheek, all of his own anger and tension seeming to slip away into concern and affection once more. Love... was this what it was like?
Was love meant to be so complicated, with so many conflicts? It... didn't matter whether it was love or not. The fact was that Aleksandir wasn't going to let anyone or anything get inbetween him and Nagendra, at least not if he could help it.
"I hope Wyatt starts to feel better..." He whispered softly, closing his eyes. Was Wyatt really sick or... did he hear the conversation outside? Either way, Alek could tell Nagendra what was wrong, if Nag wanted to know the exact details from Joseph's unpleasant phone call.
Stepping forward, the shorter wolf male wrapped his arms around the other's waist, nuzzling his chest softly with a small sigh. How was this ever going to work if they stayed in the same spot forever? Nagendra had made a move to take their relationship at least a little bit further, by inviting him over to meet everyone.
Alek only had Andie, who had disappeared when he fell in love with Sabre... but... still... it was important to Alek that Nagendra at least get to meet with Andie. But there was still so much left to say, so much left to do. It just seemed like they had a long way to go and... He just... he felt so tired and... "Nagendra... can I stay the night with you tonight...?" The wolf whispered softly, sheepishly. He didn't want to go home and face Joseph. Not tonight... and... he felt safer with Nagendra, in his arms, anywhere close to him.

Nagendra seemed a bit confused, and he slowly slid his arms around the other male's waist as a returning action. "... Alek..." he murmured, pecking a kiss to the other male's skull. "... Of course..." he hadn't known anything else to say but those words... sure, he definately would allow Aleksandir to stay, but... why had he suddenly wanted to stay...? The male frowned -- perhaps it had to do with Joseph... but if that were that case, then...
Oh, for Christ's sake... he wouldn't be able to talk to Joseph... that cat hated him enough as it was... perhaps if he requested Jamie to do it...? Jamie scared everyone... chilled them to the bone... and Nagendra really had no idea how the rabbit did it, but he did... it was as though he could kill you in the blink of an eye for some bizarre reason... even when he had no weapon... and those eyes were scary as s**t... or at least, that was how Eridanus normally said it...
But Aleksandir may want to talk to the other male himself... and if that were the case, then Nagendra really had no say in the matter...
Perhaps he should get Wyatt to talk to Joseph... no person could ever stay mad at Wyatt...
Or maybe Eridanus... both him and Joseph were cats and... ah, dear lord... he didn't know what to do... he just didn't know.
"... What happened...?" though he tried to make his voice firm, like oak... it came out soft like a cloud, evenly and carefully... calmly. He touched his nose to Alek's.

Aleksandir smiled lightly and pecked a small kiss to Nagendra's neck while the other was trying to figure things out. He looked up at him and then nuzzled his chest once more, closing his eyes as he held onto him, as if at any moment he was going to push him away.
"I just... don't want to deal with Joseph... right now," Alek said softly, though he knew that didn't answer the other's question at all... and he knew that he needed to tell Nagendra what happened... So why not put it in the simplest words he could possibly find?
"He got jealous, because I've been spending so much time with you rather than him. He thinks you're going to hurt me, and no matter how many times I tell him that I know you won't he... just won't listen."
The wolf sighed softly and pulled his head back to look up at Nagendra. "Joseph thinks you won't understand a lot of the issues I have with certain things... but the truth is, I trust you more than him..." The black wolf sighed softly again.
Green eyes slowly drifted to Nagendra's lips, then back up to his eyes. Nervously, he bit his lower lip and tried to relax while he slowly leaned up and pressed his lips tenderly against the other wolf male's lips. "He doesn't believe that I... want to be with you. But I do."

Frustration...
He bit down on his tongue and tasted copper, blinking rather dumbly when a peck was pressed against his lips. "..." he'd known Joseph for longer than he knew Nagendra -- did time not matter in such a relationship? Would Nagendra leave Aleksandir if Jamie requested it...? Ah, but here was the problem... Jamie would never request such a thing unless he knew terrible consquences were on their way, in which case Nagendra would refuse and face them anyhow...
It was all so confusing, this relationship... and had it not been for the feeling Aleksandir gave him -- the little things that he did... Nagendra would have probably broken it off by now...
So was it love...?
He had answered himself several times that it was... but the wolf wasn't truly sure. It was like they were little kids, kissing on the lips every now and then, and being embarassed when they actually did... inviting one another to do something with such enthusiasm... Nagendra wasn't sure what he should be thinking...
What he did know was that he was utterly confused... and confusion made him nervous, and nervous made him sick...
But for some reason, Nagendra didn't feel nervous right now -- he just felt... bad. He had been having a bad day... and if it were not for the request from Alek to stay the night, the wolf would have probably gone up to his room, and muffled a scream in a pillow or some other item similar that would assist in drowning out the noise.
"I suppose you aren't hungry..." he murmured, stroking Aleksandir's head with gentle fingers. "... Would you just like to go to bed then...?"
This relationship seemed like it was never going to go any further, and though Nagendra didn't mind the place they were now -- actually, he loved the place they were now, but it was most likely only because Aleksandir was there -- hell, he'd love freezing in Alaska if Aleksandir were there -- well, maybe not love freezing -- but he would accept the matter more openly.
But the relationship -- never moving forward, staying in one place... it was stressful... and yet comforting at the same time. And the two feelings mixing into a messy, feely concoction were driving Nagendra mad...
