This is a journal for Kira and all her StarDust pets. Solo RP entries will be posted here along with sporadic updates.
:.Description of House.:
Just a normal house in the town of SD. A one floor ranch with a basement and plenty of windows. The house is composed of mostly wooden floors with several carpeted areas including bedrooms. Certain rooms have heated/cooled floors. During the day an AC unit runs to keep the house at around the high 60's. While during the night the heat is on to keep the house at around 68 degrees.
:.Kira.:
Name: Kira Kaguya Age: 18 Gender: Female Hair Color: Black shoulder length dreadlocks. Eye color: Dark blue General appearance: Kira is a petite girl who may be short but has a big heart. She has a narrow face with a round forehead. Typically she wears whatever is comfortable rather than something fashionable. On occasion she can be seen wearing glasses. She has small, delicate features. Personality: Kira can be summed up in one word: lazy. She avoids work unless necessary but even then she can struggle with it sometimes. But when she gets moving, she gets things done in a efficient manner though usually not the most organized. She enjoys relaxation, TV and video games. Of course, she enjoys spending time with her pets, too. Because of the nature her pets are, usually they are free to roam as long as they are home by a reasonable time. If they're not, she would stay up and wait just for them.

:.Clan Leader.: Clan Name: Legion's Legacy Name: Legion Age: Unknown Personality: Legion is sly without outwardly appearing so. He can be vicious and cruel, but he usually only acts this way if he can get something out of it. Abandoned once, he survives quite well on his own and sees Kira as a obstacle more than anything else. Part of the reason for his personality is the way the sub-species is itself. He is a demon, and demons are sly, tricky creatures. Deeply inside, he does once in a while feel hollow because those that get close to him he just merely uses. He does certainly have a way with females and is able to make them bend to his will, forcefully or not. However, there are actual a few females that he has come across in which he cares/cared for. He has been described as a type of dust who would start a fight merely for the make-up afterwards. He does care for his children, but of course, he favors some more than others. Most of his children he has never met since birth, therefore is on neutral grounds about. History: He has wooed and mated with the angel Auriel, in which he laid claim to easily. Though the two are separated as of now, he still thinks and cares for her. He does not blame himself nor his old mate for the "loss" of their children, rather, he sees it as a thing of circumstance in which neither of them could control. He was once owned by Masq who also had Auriel, but was abandoned for various reasons. Now living in his new home, he has wooed and laid claim to several of the females within the household. These few along with Auriel are and probably will be the only ones he cares for. In-clan breedings: 0 Out-of-clan breedings: 2 Total: 2

Hoshi no Katsura .... A Star's Moon
[This is the meeting between Hogni and Kydra.]
Time passed so quickly; too quickly. Before Hogni could even so much as to blink, within moments the cute little new dustling inhabiting his household had fully grown into an adult. She wasn't the same anymore. Not just her physical appearance, but the way she carried herself was different, too. Her royal colored fur with soft hues of a sandy gold shimmered in the light. Even if anyone else refused to say so, every time she bathed in the light he seemed to notice the sparkles in her fur. He loved the way it shimmered, he loved her royal charisma, it was beautiful--flawless in every way. She was almost like a star to him. A shooting star that sped quickly across his sky, lighting up everything dull there every was and giving new beauty to it. Her flawless grace as she sped over his sky blinded his eyes, blinding everything around him. And as she disappeared into the hills, he could see nothing except the grace she left behind.
He was baffled at that fact. How could such a simple looking dustling cause such much destruction to his world? He was angry at himself for being caught so easily off guard, yet how could he blame himself? She was now the star of his world, the one who gave brilliance to his once dull world. As much as he hated to admit it, he needed her. Like an earth needed a moon as to a moon needing its star.
His mind instantly went blank as the royal one made her presence into the room. Soft, pale blue eyes gazed at her in awe. She did it again, dazzling him, memorizing him with no effort at all. And this time, she only walked into the room. His breath suffocated under her every breath, weighting heavily upon him. She should be the one with the wings. The one closest to the beings of heaven. He didn't deserve them. There was no way he could ever compete with her, ever win her.
Surely she didn't think of him the way he thought of her now? They were like siblings before...And surely she would wish to remain as that, nothing more, right?
If thoughts alone could kill, that one would've crushed him instantly. He could do nothing more but watch from afar. Whenever he was close to her, she would crush every word he had in mind, leaving him silent. It didn't help that her look alone intoxicated him. Her smell--her smell left him in a dream-like state. Without any effort at all, she easily seduced him into a dream.
Her light eyes gazed upon those familiar pale ones. She was fully grown now. An adult. With that note in mind, she was increasingly more interested in Hogni. His every movement was illusive to her. He was like a butterfly fluttering in the sky. Simply put, he was gorgeous.
But her stubborn personality would never allow her to admit that out loud. He was like a brother to her. From birth till now was the relationship they shared. Nothing more. No matter what she yearned for, she simply can't break the barrier separating the two of them from anything more than siblings. The fear of rejection was too strong.
Her amazing grace flew past him as she paced across the kitchen. Only once did she glance at him. For a fleeting second she could see the agony in his eyes. The pain, the longing, the need growing within him. And for that fleeting second, she could feel his pain. It was as if their pain merged into one. Though it was very much the same how the two felt towards each other. They both needed one another. They both longed for each other. And they both loved the other.
Hogni's soft eyes filled with agony gazed longingly at Kydra. Move. Legs, move! No matter how hard he wanted to move, his legs froze in place. Cold sweat suddenly covered him from head to toe. He felt as if he was burning up with a fever, yet only feeling the coolness of that sickness. She would within seconds disappear from his sight. Kydra would soon vanish.
The dustling opened his mouth, yet all that he could muster was a squawking noise of some sort. The noise was a grotesque one--at least when it rang throughout his ears it was. All moisture in his mouth was sucked away, leaving any words that wanted to escape a prisoner of his mind.
Don't be so weak...Go to her. Even if she denies you...
He swallowed the dryness as hard as he could manage. Within seconds wobbled steps propelled the male slowly but surely towards his star. Suppressing any inferiority-complex thoughts, Hogni almost whispered, "...Kydra?"
Her eyes almost immediately lit up as he approached her. Though, she did her best not to reveal any signs of weakness to him. She had to keep her royal presence charade up when he was near; she had to keep her guard up.
Kydra's steps slowed to a halt, her head tilting slowly to face the winged male. Her golden eyes stared at him with indifference, though on the inside she felt if she died this instant, she could die happy. The bushy, regal tail curled around her small frame, her head tilted up in the position it always was when she spoke towards him. It made her seem more stuck-up, though in reality it was because of the height difference between the two of them.
"Yes? What is it that you want, Hogni?" She asked in a soft voice.
Her angelic voice stunned him in his tracks. All the things he wanted to say instantly vanished as they were replaced by her words. Any stream of consciousness disappeared into thin air. Nothing but emptiness remained. It would prove rude to let such a beautiful lady await an answer from him, yet his mind went blank. The best he could manage was stutters.
Then suddenly, as if by instinct, one thought jumped into his mind. She typically referred to him in some type of honorific. Either "brother, dear" or something along those lines. So what made it different this time? Maybe just a slip up...But what if it was something more? What if it was a sign?
He decided to pursue the matter, "This might sound a bit strange...But why didn't you use any honorifics when you addressed me just now?" Pale eyes gazed intently at her as curiosity built up within him.
Soft golden eyes gazed at him with indifference. Even though he caught her off guard, she would never submit. Her regal form remained unchanged. On the outside, she was acting normal as usual, though on the inside was a completely different story.
"No reason in particular. I just did not feel up to using honorifics today." She shrugged her shoulders.
How could she act so careless as to let him catch her off guard? The only way she'd ever submit was if he pursued her vanity. She would need his undivided undivided attention, his absolute devotion and his undying love. The femme didn't ask for anything in the physical sense, as she could read him pretty easily, but she wanted the proof glowing in his eyes. She wanted him to promise her without ever saying a word. Yet, she knew well enough nothing would start until she gave him a gentle nudge in the correct direction, though before she would act, he would first have to try himself.
A deep profound grief surfaced in the winged male's eyes. The usual soft, tenderness melted away into a pool of despair. He was hoping for something more...Yet she so bluntly proved him wrong. A soft sigh reflected the sadness within, but he could not so easily as to give up all hope. He would make her his, no matter how long it took.
The expression upon his face shot a bullet through her heart. She could almost feel the pain he felt deep within from his expression alone. Just watching him pained her, because she knew they both yearned for one another. But her pride as a female would not allow her to so easily give in. She simply cannot submit until he showed signs of his affection towards her; signs of his love towards her.
With an indifferent expression upon her face, she turned her back against him, flicked her tail just a little above the ground and paced her away from him. More than anything, she wanted to turn around and nuzzle the dying creature. She wanted to prove him wrong. But why was she so stubborn? Why wouldn't she just submit despite watching him wither in pain for the longest time now? This answer, she couldn't even answer herself...
Hogni watched as she turned against him with such indifference. He was sick of it, it was growing increasingly tiresome each day as he saw her. The male needed to tell her. Even if her answer was one he did not expect, at the very least his heart could move on.
With great speed, he extended his wings to block Kydra's way. He watched as her ever graceful step faltered. "Kydra..." He begged softly, "Please don't walk away from me." His usual velvet voice morphed into a pleaded cry. The heart of the beast pumped faster, almost to the point of bursting. He could feel his body temperature raising. All the blood rushed to his face, glazing his usual partly pale cheeks with a soft pink hue. If it wasn't for the pained expression on his face, he would almost appear child-like.
Silently, he waited.
Her usual grace faltered when his wings blocked her way. Was he finally making his move? Would he finally stake a claim on her as she wanted him to? She inhaled a deep breath before turning around to face yet another painful expression.
She, too, could no longer stand this pain.
Yet, she continued to play 'hard-to-get'.
"Is there something you need from me, Hogni?" She asked in a honey-like voice. This time, she purposely let the honorific slide. She would face him as a female would a man, not as siblings any longer.
He gulped as she faced him directly. Bright eyes faced his own soft, pale ones. He could already feel the hesitation surging up within him.
No, he could not hesitate now that he had her so close.
"Kydra...You have become the star of my life. 'Before you, Kydra, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars--points of light and reason.'" He hesitated for a moment, absorbing the shocked expression on her face. Without faltering, he continued, "'...And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.' So please..." He pleaded once more, "Stay with me."
Her eyes immediately lit up like a lantern in twilight. As soon as he finished the first sentence, she already knew what was coming. She heard him practicing those lines against a mirror every morning, thinking she hasn't woken yet. At first, she thought he was a little queer by practicing against a self-reflected image, but slowly it sunk in--those words were for her. Though they weren't originally written for her, the thought still counted. She would return his feelings.
"I will be your star..." She paused while slowly walking towards him, "And you shall be my moon..." [The little sonate is taken from a book called New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, I don't credit it as my own. I only used it for fun. <3]

Melting the ice. Hard work pays off in the end. [Courting of Esme by Legion]
It hadn't been long since Legion settled into the human home. He made himself comfortable wherever he went, claiming various places as his own while chasing out the different males. There was no other way to make his presence known other than to scare them away. He, of course, had to act the part of alpha male. No male demon would take second place to some soft hearted lover boy [Hogni], some sunset colored serpent [Yuuhi] or the other pansy emo boy [Eden] who did nothing around the house. They didn't even lay claim to all the gorgeous females in the house, save for that weird arctic who definitely had some mental issues in the upper department [Alice]. But that arctic was a different story. Her interests lay elsewhere, far away from that of males. Not that Legion cared, since he had at least two others who were quite vain.
At first he wanted to go after that royal purple and honey colored female named Kydra. She was definitely a beaut. But for whatever reason, she rejected him over the lover boy with wings. Legion's wings were most definitely better. They were webbed, dark in color and belonged to him. What else could make them better? Not much, of course.
But it was within the same household that he saw that gorgeous dark beauty. Apparently she was the daughter of this other beauty. Various blacks and shades of indigo, along with spots and patches of white with those soul piercing blue eyes. Yes, quite gorgeous. Almost the same colors as himself, only not as dark and not quite so gorgeous. If he couldn't win over the mother, he would win over the daughter.
At first she was indifferent to his advances like most everything else around her. Hell, she was even indifferent to her own birth parents. Often times that beauty would just stare out the window, bathing in the warm light for a short while before she moved outside under the shade of the trees. He figured it was because her dark feather fur quickly retained the heat. Legion would understand, he had dark feather fur, too.
Then slowly over time when he brought her flowers freshly picked every day [or rather he stole them from the local flower shop when the shop keep wasn't looking] she would at the very least exchange a brief glance at him. That was when he figured out it was time to continue to woo her. It might have taken a while, but the efforts in the end would be worthwhile.
Among one of the days in which he came home with flowers lightly clamped in between his beak, he saw the opportunity he sought after for so long. She laid there in the cool shadows under the shady tree as always, but soft mumbles came from her mouth. The winged beauty didn't say much, but she did cry. Despite her tough exterior, she was breaking down inside. So she did have feelings. It was simply a choice not to show it.
Legion, being the smooth demon that he is, quickly came to her "rescue" and asked her of her troubles. When she heard him approaching, she hastily wiped the tears away and laid there with an indifferent face. But once Legion told her what he saw, she quickly warmed up to him. She told him of her severed relationship with her parents at her younger days. When she was born, her two brothers were separated from her at birth, so her mother went hysterical. For a while up until just recently, her mother's ignored most of her basic needs and needs that a child growing up would need. Because her father was so busy with her hysterical mother, he, too, neglected her when he shouldn't have.
The demon quickly wrapped his wings around her loosely, making her feel a little more comfortable around him. Of course, he sided with her. Though at various points of the conversation he did defend the parents since it was only fair that way. He nuzzled her, grooming her feather-fur and comforted her in all the ways he could think of. She practically poured her poor heart out at the demon. And despite her mother's objections, she became one of the soon to be many females under his wing for his clan. Her father didn't say much about it, since he was just glad she found happiness. It was her happiness. Perhaps it was out of guilt that he said nothing of it. But it was mostly because Esme seemed happy around Legion. Her eyes glowed in a way never seen before. Heck, her whole face glowed whenever she was around him. She even opened up to him more than anyone else. He took care of her, too, so what was there to object to?
Esme was the hardest to court, and perhaps the most rewarding to court because of that. Now, there was that Lilac colored female who was vain, but not as vain as that pinkish purple on. They would seem child's play compared to Esme. And of course, that female serpent practically threw herself at him [or so he claims]. No effort at all.
But dealing with Esme's mother was slightly annoying, Legion found himself glad that he courted the winged daughter. She needed someone, and that someone was Legion.

Daddy's little girl [Legion and Layla]
It was a one night stand, he kept repeating to himself. Even if the two of them went a little two far together and actually developed children together, in the end it was still a one night stand. He's never seen her since, and it was the same the other way around. Though, he never cared to see her since. He still had all he needed plus a little more.
There was a couple new arrivals in the house. A little fox named "Shin", whom Legion dubbed as his little "pet". Then, there was this cute little pretty named "Afrior". A bit young, but he was sure when she grew she would grow into quite the charming lady. He would court her then, but not a moment before.
Now then, this last little one was special. This little one was a result of his one night stand...but he cared for her perhaps even more so than he did with his charming ladies. She was his little girl. The only little girl he knew of. There were others out there, of course. He met one from the result of his beloved angel. She even had grandkids, making him a great granddad. But the meeting was short. Too brief for him to feel any sort of real attachment towards her.
Layla, though, as he affectionately calls her, was a completely different story. He saw her since day one. When she poked her head out from that little pile of dust, squeaking and yelling for company and food...that caught his heart instantly. Previous to this, he had no parenting experience. He had a little, but it was too short for him to feel the joys of parenthood.
Now his little girl was old enough to separate fully from her dust pan. Her appearance was dashingly similar to his. A darker fur complexion and different colored eyes, but definitely a striking similar image of him. She was definitely a demon, though a little kinder than he would like her to be. Still, she would exert dominance even over the larger, fully grown male adults. They would kindly brush her off to the side, but she had some attitude within her that just wouldn't give up.
She was not yet as vain as daddy, but she wasn't exactly at the age to think of such things. He knew, however, she would take after some of his characteristics very soon. She was a fast learner.
No matter what, though, he would always be his little girl. He could see in the future already when she was fully grown. He would have to chase off any potential male suitors to protect his little girl. Any suitors he would have to approve of prior to any funny business. No doubts he would act as the typical father over his little child. He had every reason to act so, however, this was the first time a child of his would share the same home as him. This was the very first time he could watch over her from the beginning to the future.
"Daddy," She nudged her father with an innocent smile, I'll always be number one, right?"
The father gazed down upon her daughter with an affectionate smile, one he's never shown to even his females, "Yes, you'll always be daddy's number one." He softly nudged her back then patted her lightly on her small head.

Start of a new clan? Dominance and possible blossoming of love. [Layla and Eden. "Courting" of Eden by Layla]
She was a fully grown adult now. No doubt gorgeous and beautiful like her father. She was now fully capable of fending for herself, not to mention forcing some males to start a new clan with her. There weren't many males within the house, mostly females. Of course, those were typically off limits as they were daddy's mates. Honestly, though, he seemed rather relaxed in the breeding department with him. Not once had he bred with any of them yet. He's always busy flirting with non-clan members, which resulted in her, of course. She didn't mind, but it did get rather annoying at times.
With a highly limited number of males, it would prove rather hard to force any of them under her command, let alone into her soon-to-be clan. Not just that, but her father was a little more than hesitant on the idea of her starting a clan of her own. His excuses were lame. But he mostly didn't want her to fall into the same trap she did, feeling the emptiness and loneliness in the middle of the night despite having the company of many gorgeous ladies. That, and he didn't want any potential suitors to breed with one of his females. They were his, and his alone. He wouldn't tolerate any outside breedings without permission. Especially not with some male who is supposed to dedicate himself to his daughter, not trying to run off with one of his own.
It wasn't so much that, those were all part of it, yes, but he also didn't want to face the fact that his little girl was all grown up now. She would still remain his favorite and top. Daddy's little girl, always, but seeing her grow up so soon was...almost unbearable. Why do children grow up so fast?
None of that mattered to the female demon, though. She would have her way. Daddy loved her and spoiled her. She could practically get away with anything. Almost anything. The first one she had set her crimson eyes on was that little angsty fallen angel. Eden, his name was. He seemed rather easy to claim. Always sighing, as if searching for someone to complete him. Father, of course, would object to such a pairing. He seemed a rather weak one, unfit and incapable of producing healthy children. Even if they could, Legion could hardly see Eden caring for their children anyway.
Did Layla care? Of course not. She approached him carefully, slowly as if not to scare him. Her spiny tail lightly flickered back and forth as she approached him, a little afraid for her first time pursuit. It'll turn out alright, though, she did get advice from the best; her father, of course.
"Eden," She almost hissed. A bad habit. But old habits die hard, as they say. "Quit your angsting for god's sake. It's so...annoying. God, you're annoying. Would you stop your sighing? It keeps me up at night, you know? I can hardly get a good night's sleep because of you. Quit it, or else you'll...you'll get a thrashing of a lifetime."
The fallen angel jumped from the unexpected visit. Of all dustlings in the household, it had to be Layla. What cruel fate assigned her to him? She was almost as bad as her father, Legion, if not worse. At least Legion would just simply ignore him most of the time. But this...this...Layla would constantly nag at him, insult him and come close to physically assaulting him sometimes. He had done nothing wrong, he always thought to himself. A good little boy. He hadn't tried to lay claim to any females, and he certainly wouldn't make a pass at her of all people. She rejected him the most.
"Y-yes? I-I'm...sorry. I...don't mean to keep...you up at night. I'll...try to stop. So...please don't hurt...me." his voice weak, soft and monotoned. He was obviously shaken from the sudden intrusion, and the sudden visit.
"Tch, stop apologizing, too. It's so damn annoying. And speak clearly, jeez. You're more of a woman than daddy's girls. Speak fluently for goodness sake. I've got no reason to hurt you right now, so stop thinking I'll hit you or something...'cause I'm not going to." Her eyes quickly rolled off to the side, avoiding eye contact.
"Oh...um...yes. I mean, y-yes, ma'am. Is there something I can--help you with, Miss Layla?" His eyes were the first of the two to roll away. Seeing her only made things worse. He grew increasingly frightened of her--or so he thought from his rush of adrenaline and obvious beating heart.
"God damn, shut your mouth. You're so...annoying. I-I...I'll be here for you, okay? So stop your constant sighing.Sorry for being mean to you," Her last sentence faded off, obviously embarrassed by her previous other statements. She meant it, of course, as it was quite clear on her blushing face. It was a little hard to see under the blacks and purples, but it was there.
"Wh-what?" He was startled by what he just heard? What the heck just happened? Legion's little girl, Layla? No, he heard wrong. He was sure he heard wrong. Layla would never say such things. She wasn't the type to get mixed up with him, right? Honestly, who would want him of all dustlings? She seemed more the type to try and split up the Hogni and Kydra couple. Was she for real? Pursuing his heart?
"Fine. Make me repeat myself again. Is that what you want? As if the first time wasn't embarrassing enough." Her arms folded as best they could across her chest, her head tilted upward in the opposite direction. "What're you, too good for me now? Not going to take me up on it? I see how it is. If that's the way you want it, fine. Be that way. See if I care," Her voice weakened with each sentence. She seemed as if she was about to cry. It was possibly an act, but it seemed real enough to Eden.
"I just...wasn't sure if it was real or not. But...are you sure? I don't think I'm...worthy of one of your magnitude. I mean, you're very attractive. You could obviously...do much better than myself," He stared down at the ground, feeling the inferiority complex raising in him. There was no way she would want him. Such a beautiful lady was not suited for such a dull, uncolorful dustling as himself.
"Then be that way!" Her voice definitely cracked this time. Crimson eyes almost welled up in tears. She was going to cry at any given moment now.
Eden's heart almost shattered into pieces again. If that were possible, of course, for a fallen angel to do such a thing. Seeing her sad face, hearing her crackling voice...It was almost too painful. She seemed more than willing to accept one such as himself. Of all dustlings, she didn't seem to care at all about his past, his inferiority complexes, his dull colors and his often depressing mood. She seemed to genuinely care about him, or else she would not go this far [or so he thinks].
"I'm...so sorry. A pretty lady like yourself shouldn't cry over...Never mind. Layla, tears don't suit your face." He quietly walked up against her and nuzzled her cheek then licked it gently. "You, more so than me, seem more like you need a cuddle or two."
[A/N: Layla wasn't faking it consciously. It's a subconscious thing. She takes after the song she was named after, by Eric Clapton.
"Layla, you've got me on my knees Layla, darling, I'm begging please"
are the most notable lyrics of the song. The whole song describes her fairly well and what her personality is based on. So basically she's a manipulating, prideful yet vain little vicious daddy's girl. XD

Rose Princess...be mine
[Legion's courting of Bara-Hime]
"Bara-hime," the name rolled off his tongue so easily. She was like the blossoming rose waiting to be plucked off the rose bush. Beautiful, yet perhaps the most vain within his clan is the Bara-hime. Her name was fitting to her personality. She wanted to be loved, yet found it difficult to accept love. She was not so easy to claim as the others, he thought to himself. In time, though, he knew she would be his.
His emerald eyes gazed at her from a distance, his tail flickering lightly with delight. To watch her from afar was a treasure. Especially if she was bathed in the glorious sunlight. She was surrounded by an assorted variety of flowers, each beautiful in its own right. However, none of them could compare with her. She alone stood out as the most beautiful of them all. No one could deny that. Her different hues of pinks and purples. Too beautiful to describe in words.
"Bara-Hime..." He whispered her sweet name softly.
Her gorgeous fur was bathed in the scent of the variety of flowers. It was no wonder why she smelled of roses constantly. But it wasn't just that where her name came from. The monochromatic tones reminded everyone of a bush of roses. She was like a rose garden in itself. The scent, the sight, the very essence of it. The whole philosophical approach of wanting to reach for her, but drawing back in fear of being pricked by her thorns.
She was not dumb enough to not realize Legion had his eye on her. After his courting of Esme, his eyes immediately shifted back to her. Basara must be harder to court than her, then. Heh. What an insult, she thought. She enjoyed the independence, yet at the same time longed for some company. For the longest time, she was indecisive as to joining Legion's clan as one of his mates. She wasn't particularly fond of the idea of sharing his affection and attention with others...but something about him drew her towards him.
It was as if he had his own gravitational pull. She knew for sure he was strong enough to provide her with all her needs and desires. But it's not always about those, is it? What of the fatal, undeniable addictive feeling of loving someone and receiving the same feelings in return? She couldn't quite understand what it was that she found attractive about Legion.
Perhaps it was his strong, yet gentle gaze every time he looks upon someone within his clan. He was sweet, too. And every time he approached her, spoke with her...any interaction with him made her heart race. She even felt uncomfortable around him at times. Maybe it wasn't discomfort, but rather she was feeling flustered.
Were those the feelings of love? How would she know? She's never fell in love before.
It was time. At last it arrived. Time to make her his. He lifted himself to his legs, his eyes set on his objective clearly laid in front of him. As he moved towards her, he plucked a rose randomly off the bush. There were other more beautiful flowers surrounding its immediate area, however, it was not the rose he was after. Not this particular one, anyway. He wanted the bigger, much more beautiful one.
He carefully laid the rose down in front of her pale feet, his eyes never breaking eye contact with hers. "For you, milady."
Her indigo eyes gazed down at the present by her feet. Softly, yet firmly she asked, "Why this one? There were more beautiful ones surrounding it."
Legion chuckled in response, "Because, my dear, it is not the present that matters. If I placed too much thought in the present itself, I would not have enough time to think of you, whom is the most important part of this whole thing," he grinned. He was definitely confident in himself. With a few more words, she would be his.
The rosy female grinned softly at his response. He sure had a way with words. That was not all he had, though. He was a very charismatic character. "Oh? Is that so? And what am I, precisely? A prize of some sort that you just win over?" She tested.
"Of course not...You are the blossoming rose I yearn for in my life. The soft, subtle beauty in my life. The fresh scent of every morning. That is what you are. You are my beautiful Rose Princess."
Rose Princess? That was what she was? It seemed very poetic of him to say so. But should she accept? She still haven't decided yet. But the other girls always told her to follow her heart. Her heart was only racing, it told her nothing.
But wasn't that love was? Confusion, yet comfort? It was everything and nothing at the same time. The most complicated feeling there was.
"For now, I will be your Rose Princess. For now."
She would have to consider this a little while further. She would not allow herself to so easily lay claim by Legion, no matter what. She still had to keep some of her pride, after all.

Wild and free...I will capture you in my cage.
[Legion's courting of Basara]
She smelled faintly of lavender...But unlike the flower, she was quite the opposite of feminine, fragile and stagnant...Perhaps at heart she was more similar to lavender, but her outward personality would never elude to such thoughts.
Most of the time she spent outside wrestling mud, playing pretend warrior-princess roles and trying to overcome Legion's strength. He was no stranger to her part of the woods; constantly weaving in and out of the woods, occasionally sticking his head in with sometimes not-so-nice intentions to force her into his clan. Up until now, he was rather civil about the matter, but every time she declined his offer.
Now, Legion had a fairly large ego. He definitely reeked of confidence. However, even having a large ego did not mean he took "no" for an answer well; especially from a beautiful lady who was constantly rejecting his courtship.
This was the last straw; the last rejection he would take. If she wasn't going to come home with him willingly, he was going to force her one way or another. He had all the positive aspects on his side: his larger size, his razor sharp claws and teeth, as well as his pair of enormous bat-like wings.
She had seen that familiar shadow many times before. Over the course of these past months, he had chased her down, using various tricky ways in order to change her mind about joining his clan. She knew better, though. He only wanted her for his clan so he could breed with her and provide more off-spring. This was all about genetics and the basics of survival. If someone produced more offspring than the other, the chances of those offspring providing more genes to the pool was obviously larger. Legion probably held no interest in her companionship at all.
Her eyes glanced at the flying form briefly, before her skinny legs pushed her forward in the other direction. Something about this encounter didn't feel right. Perhaps it was her instincts, or something about the way he was pursuing her, but she had a feeling if she didn't run away from this encounter successfully, he would force her into the clan.
Webbed wings aggressively pushed him forward. This scenario was very similar to a bird of prey about to swoop down to catch its dinner. His eyes locked onto his prey. This was completely serious now. Even a blink could allow her escape.
He had no patience left for her trivial games. If she wasn't going to join of her own free will, he was going to bend her will to his. His ego was damaged over and over, and if he didn't catch her not only would his inner demon laugh at him, but surely his females would also laugh at his failure for courting a simple, normal dustling.
She could try to outrun him, but she was no match for his flying capabilities. Only two things in the world would make him work this hard; one was induced by rage, followed closely by females. Almost nothing could stand in his way when he chose to act this way. Even his daughter, whom he loved dearly, would be no match against him.
After he catches her, he would make her his there and then. The only way he could get her to join was to break her. Such a shame, really. He found her beautiful because of her illusiveness, but he would still keep her around even if he grew bored of her. That is the price she will have to pay for this cat and mouse game they've played for the past few months.
Luck was not on her side today. From today onward her luck would forever change. Each day she would live with regret; the regret of showing herself to Legion. She lived wild and free, but not anymore after today. No longer could she enjoy the sweet morning dew, nor the fresh air this forest area provided. She could no longer live out her warrior-princess dream, and pretend this area was her kingdom. Instead, she will forever live in a cage and sing songs of freedom.
Surely he would tease her to break her further. He would let her taste freedom - only to take it away from her. Perhaps the other females would try to comfort her, but she would never be the same again.
The trees were a small obstacle for him in comparison to what he endured for the last few months. He started off polite; courting her with flowers and other presents. As each rejection passed, he grew increasingly less patient and polite. Soon, they turned more into threats than courtship.
Finally, today, he decided to pursue his more animistic methods of "courtship". His demon ways would show. Certainly, it didn't have to turn out this way, but his damaged ego could take no more.
Slowly, his distance and height grew increasingly closer to Basara. His wings made less and less pushes, and his streamlined body glided its way toward her. When she was within a close enough distance, the angle of his body changed. He was maybe twenty feet from her at a fourty-five degree angle. Rather than the form of a bird gliding across the air, his sharp talons angled toward her neck.
First his leg-talons gripped onto her neck, soon came the rest of him pinning her down like a helpless little mouse.
He leaned in closer to her ear, whispering sweetly, "I hope you didn't think you could elude me for so long. I have finally caught you now. From today onward, I shall place you in my cage. If you so much as dare to run away, I will hunt you down and break you. You may not think there could be ways I could break you more than taking away your life-style, but there is so much more I could do to you to break your spirits."
