Poza moved through southlands at a slow pace, eyes flickering around the landscape. Her tail flicked and she moved toward a large termite mound to the north east. The sun was high, it was a little after noon, and poza was rather bored. But what could she do? Kajji was not around and she did not have any other friends.

This would never be home these lands, so used to living up in the trees, travelling with the lioness was prooving more than a little difficult for the dark green cheetah, his icey green eyes scanned the world for anything he could climb. Finding the nearest, hopefully unoccupied, termite mound he clambered up it and stood looking uncomfortable, his strange bowed toes gripping the mound in an unusual fashion. Letting a deep sigh escape him, he decided to abandon the mound, slipping down the other end only to spot another cheetah. With a furrow of his broww he sat slowly, his long, sleek green tail curving around his toes to hide those deformed fore feet. Being away from the jungle, his home, he really was far more jumpy and grouchy than usual. Still, if the female said hello he could be polite.

Poza blinked as she spotted the dark green cheetah slipping down the termite mound she'd just been looking to occupy. She grinned, thinking back on another green cheetah she'd met long ago. He was much lighter green than this one, though.
"Hi there!" She called out, Poza never thought through if others were friendly or not. She was so she would be friendly! She was happy and nice, and didn't mind how others were. If they were mean to her she could always leave, right?

Rolling his bulky choulders, the dark green cheetah looked at the small, orange coloured femme and smiled half heartedly. He wasn't an angry sort of cheetah, simply un used to conversing with other creatures, even his own kind. Giving a little nod, his long dark tail swished behind him, as he cleared his throat in a rather uncomfortabe manner before replying to her cheery greeting. "Hello" He turned his head around to glance behind himself, always nervous of ambush, especially with the termite mound behind him.
pulling his taiil a little more tightly around his toes he attempted a bit of a better smile for the little femme. He could at least be friendly when the thought provoked him to do so.

Poza wasn't used to seeing another nervous around her, and it made her a tad nervous too. But she remained calm and happy, tail back and hanging just above the ground as she watched him. "My name is Poza, you picked an excellent sitting spot." She grinned at him and laughed slightly, head tilting. "Is something wrong?" She said slowly, softly.

The large green cheetah cleared his throat and shook his head. "No.." a rather blunt response from him to say the least, he was nervous of this place, of the unknown, he had to remain possitive though, he couldn't stay by sukari forever out here, he had to be stronger than that. "I am simply not used to the rituals of these dry lands, this place is new, the scents strange to me. I'm sure you must understand that.." He trailed off, perhaps one so young would not understand. He rolled his shoulders, his tail tip twitching uncomfortably as he waited for her to answer.

She blinked, looking confused, and shook her head. "I'm sorry but I don't... I've lived in this place all my life and know no other, so how can I understand the feeling of being on foreign soil?" She smiled though, she wished she could understand something so interesting! "Where are you from?"

Perhaps she didn't understand then. He let out a quiet, though rather rough sigh from his throat. "I come from the jungle, a land that is greener than any other, a place wheer trees grow more thickly than grass, where waterfalls rule the world and rainfall is frequent and beautiful." He smiled whistfully those ice green eyes almost taking on a far away look. "It is a place that is a long way behind me now."

Ah so his old home was very different from this place. "It sounds lovely... why did you leave such a place?" She was curious, very curious. She would not leave something so beautiful! But she thought it would be strange to live in such a place after living somewhere so dry all of her life..

"Love, it does such strange things when it wishes to." He smiles weakly, although the world out here was harsh to him he had needed to leave the place he found safest, he had to leave home for he knew he couldn't survive without his mate.
Licking his dark green lips the mint eyed male gave a gentle nod. "I should be leaving." He whiospers his voice rough and tired sounding. "My mate will be searching for me." He smiled and gave a gentle nod to the young female. " Farewell little golden one" he puurrs turning to limp away upon crippled paws which long ago had bent to become tree huggers insetad of land walkers.

Poza blinked, a little surprised he'd be going so soon. "Ah... alright." She said, slightly disappointed. But perhaps she had more exploring to do today. "May we meet in the future." She called after him before turning and going on her own way.
