Bini had realized something very important, and was quite happy with herself. But she was also very sad, because she'd been feeling lonely. She was laying on a large rock, staring at the grasses and listening to the wind tumble by. She wondered if the wind ever got lonely, or if trees were always happy because usually they were with other trees?
She whined slightly to herself and sat up, hunching slightly forward as she scratched at her neck with her hind paw. Where had Uzu been? She'd missed her friend and had something very important to tell him! After she was satisfied with the itch she hopped from the rock, paws lightly hitting the ground as she moved through the area, nostrils flaring.
She would just look for him again, and this time she would hopefully find him!

He had been trying to catch a fish for atleast three hours now, splashing around in the water like some complete fool.
If his sister had seen him acting like such a comic she would surely have hung her head in shame - or possibly bitten his ears off. Never-the-less, the young adult wild dog was indeed having quite a lot of fun.
He pounced forwards, sending a great spray of water cascading into the air. A fish darted between his back paws, sent him staggering forwards to land headfirst in the water.
For a moment he flailed then suddenly he found his paws and went crashing back the way he had come, tearing through the shallows like a lunatic.
With all the noise he was making he wouldn't be too hard to find...

Her right ear twitched as she listened to all of the splashing and she glanced in that direction, looking confused. Was something drowning? Oh! Her tail began to wag as she spotted the famaliar coat of Uzu, and she turned her path toward him. Though... what was he doing? Was he trying to swim? It was too shallow there to swim... maybe he was playing a game?
"Uzu!" She called out happily, a grin on her face as she got to the river, Tail still flying back and forth. "I have been looking for you!" She exclaimed, heart pounding fast. She could tell him, couldn't she? Of course! Uzu was her friend, and he would like to here this. And even if he didn't feel the same they were best friends and he would understand...
At least, this was what Bini hoped.

The sound of his name rose above the splashes and caught the wild dog by surprise. He skidded to a halt, turned and looked over his shoulder only to spot Bini.
Yay!
Water dripped from the fur on his chin and neck, making him look somewhat scraggly. Usually he had thick, puffy fur that made him look quite chubby. Being wet just proved that he wasn't all that fat. Either way he looked rather amusing.
"Bini-Bini-Bini!" He spoke her name as quickly as possible, pausing only to breathe, dashing forwards to meet her. At first it seemed he wouldn't stop then he slowed and leapt upwards, intending on causing a great splash.

She squeaked and hunched down as he made the big splash, laughing as she sat up again. "Uzu~" She whined out, before standing and shaking off. "Are you having fun.... playing?" She asked, wanting to know exactly what he was doing.
"I'm glad I found you! I want to tell you something!" She smiled, ears perked as she watched him expectantly.

"Oh I wasn't playing, nah-uh!" He shook his head wildly, ears flapping around his face as he did so. "I was trying to catch the fish but they're all slippery and quick. They kept slipping through my paws and I kept chasing, but they don't like to be caught. I think they are scared cos they think I'm going to eat them but I just wanted to practise. I'd let them go after and everything'd be okay, but I tried to tell them that and they didn't understand...I don't talk fish." He stopped to take a breath and wagged his tail happily.
"You have something to tell me? Is it...good?" He didn't doubt it. Bini never said anything bad. She was way too nice to say anything that might be upsetting.
He bounced forwards a little and shook the water from his fur, ears perking forwards to listen.

Bini's eyes seemed to light up and they kept darting from him to the water, "Oh! I wish I could hold a fish... does the slipperiness feel nice?" She said, sounding excited and hopefuly at this prospect.
"Of course it's good!" She grinned. "Well.." Her face fell a little. "I hope it's good for you. Anyways. I figured something out! Bini loves Uzu!" See, that was easy to say! So she sat and smiled and waited to see what he thought of this.

He opened his mouth to reply, because he was pretty sure that Bini would be able to hold a fish. She was probably much better at moving quietly than he was...probably...
The words formed but he never seemed to be able to get them out because at that moment Binifu declared something that he hadn't been expecting at all.
His jaws clipped shut and his eyes widened considerably then suddenly his maw parted into a wide smile and his tongue lolled.
"Really?" He paused, seemed to think something over then lunged forwards, giving her a small lick on the nose. "Uzu loves Bini too!" He said cheerfully, tail wagging madly.
"Do you want to be Uzu's girlfriend?" He asked, though the question needn't have been asked at all. It just seemed nice to think that he had a girlfriend. 'Mate' just didn't come into his vocabulary...yet.

Bini yipped happily, extremely please that Uzu felt the same way. "Bini would love being Uzu's girlfriend!" She stated, licking at his face for a moment.
"Can you show me how to capture the fishies?" She asked, she wanted to see how a fish felt. She didn't really think she'd ever felt anything 'slimey' before.

"Yaaa~ay!" He bounced, accepting the licks with the utmost joy. Did this mean he was a proper grown up now? Did he have to go tell his parents? Would all his siblings be jealous of him?
He bounced slightly and edged towards Bini, burying his face in her floofy neck fur. Then leaping back almost as quickly he span once and gave an agreeing yip.
"I can try! Follow mee~" And with that he splashed through the water, trying to keep his feet moving slower and quieter - with great difficulty.
"They don't seem to like splashes but it's hard not to make them." He explained, ears drooping a little. "Water isn't meant for quiet." He added as fish darted around his legs to make a quick escape.

Bini giggled more and also moved forward, slipping into the water with a little splashing as well, though not nearly as much as Uzu. She grinned and peered into the water. "I agree, water is made for play time! And Games... oh and drinking it!" Her tail was wagging back and forth very quickly but she stood still while she waited to find out what to do next.

He agreed happily and with a few great, leaping bounds went hurtling forwards into the deeper sections of the water. His belly was splashed and the fish that had been floating there scattered in an explosion of silver scales.
"There they go!" Uzu squeaked, bounding after a few of them. "Come on Bini! I know you can catch one!"

Bini grinned and watched them dart around her legs, curious as to what had invaided their stream. "Oh!" She breathed out, though she wasn't sure how! But she'd spotted Uzu snapping at the water before. So she lunged her head forward and did the same.
Her eyes widened as she felt something between her jaws. "Oh~go'un!" She tried to speak around what she'd gotten. But she hadn't expected fish to feel so hard and... stiff.. and... she crossed her eyes as she tried to see what was in her mouth and promptly dropped it. "Er... maybe not.." She chuckled, looking a little embaressed. She'd caught a stick!
"Oohh.. this is hard!" But she wouldn't give up, already she was getting still again.

He burst into laughter at Bini as she held onto that stick, but it was not cruel laughter. It was filled with pure joy and happiness. There could be nothing cruel about this little wild dog!
With a bound and a hop he splashed towards Bini at full speed, leaping up at the last moment. He wanted to pounce her in the water, roll and splash. He was so happy!
He belonged to Bini and she belonged to him. They belonged to one another just like his mother and father. Never did he think he would find such happiness. Yet as he looked at her he knew this was the female he wanted to spend his life with.

She yelped and squealed as they splashed into the water, and as she laughed she began to n** and paw at him. "You're going to scare the fishes!" She teased, giggling. But she didn't really care about the fishes any longer, this game was much more fun and she didn't have to concentrate too hard on what to do!
She licked at his face, tail flying back and forth as she squirmed slightly in the water. "And that wasn't fair! You didn't give me warning!" She grinned, getting one of his ears in her grip and tugging playfully.
