Imma kind of bored. maybe. a little. Well not really just that my higher mental functions are on the blink. This means that I must spam.
A lot of us have dipped our toes deep enough into both versions of the WP canon now, right? Well, enough to do a comparison?
Suggesting that we to a compare and contrast of characters in the series. Because it'd be hysterical, time-consuming, and fun. Also Tot's not allowed any French speak for 20 comments. mrgreen
I SHALL START with why the manga should have had a Petora.
- Because he's Petora.
Okay okay, real reasons. I admit that I'm totally in love with the fast pacing of the manga. It's one of the few times that it doesn't seem overly jumbled or cramped down (I think mangaka back then were allergic to anything beyond 5 volumes that didn't have a massive following since cover one). But. If they had fleshed more of the sidestory and gag bits, I think they could totally have gotten away with sticking Petora in there and wreaking HAVOC. And then have him chumped by something completely goofy.

I will just say that I liked the angel costumes a LOT more in the manga, and the character designs a bit more. (Hinagiku has cuter hair ^-^) I would say more, but as I haven't actually finished the manga yet ...

All I saw was Uragano/Celeste and my mind went blank. Ho, you know that's my sekrit OTP!
I think I speak for everyone, though, when I say that the anime could've used moar Uragano. sad

empress-- Totally true. I actually prefer the initial costumes to the Super Angel improvements. Yuri's hair was also a lot more characteristic with that costume, too. (Did anyone else see her lose her hair ornaments when she went Super, or am I just delusional?)
Uragano...o man that hurts. That guy was STUPENDOUS in the manga I guess that's why they really stuck Petora in.
STUDIO WRITERS: Crap, guys. Producers want us to nix his dad.
STUDIO INTERNS: s**t what are we gonna do?! That guy is adored the fans are gonna kill us!

That's it. I give up. *Throws up his hands in resignation.* I can never even stay up with any of this. The only name I understood up there was Yosuke.......And I am guessing that means that he doesn't end up with Momoko.......Which means something was ruined for me, and something died inside of me......... I give up trying to understand anything, and keep up with you guys..... I am just going to lay down and die right here, and stop bothering you guys with my ignorance. *Lays down, dies, and lets the morgue cart him away from the guild that he is too dumb to be in.*

Relax, boya--that's why I placed "implied" on the poll topic (really I only made the poll because everyone loves gold mining amirite?). Most of those would only be seen in, like, fanfic--if anyone's written fanfic.
And you don't have to run run run to keep up with things--it's pretty laid back and at-your-own-pace, really. Heck, I can't spam as hard as our dear leader and hooker enthusiast, Momo, can. It is beyond my abilities. So I just pop in here and there when I can to poke folks' brain about the series. Since brain-poking is awesome, no matter how much or how little you know on the subject. 3nodding

I don't think I understood a word in those entire things. I don't know who Ignis is, but I am guessing that Takuro is that evil kid that I must destroy for wanting Momoko. Don't know what Amirite is. I get lost by all of you people's talking. Trying to understand you guys is like a full time job.

Ignis is the red-haired demon that spends all of his time possessing Takurou and giving us lulz because of how much he likes to talk about being in Takurou's body. And 'amirite' is short for 'Am I right'.
And there's a plot-twist (if you can call it that) coming up shortly, so no, Takurou doesn't get Momoko. So just sit back and enjoy watching Yousuke threaten to kick his a** for the next coupla episodes. xd
