Friends: Sakirou, Remus, Hisoka, Kairos... Sirius maybe. Others, maybe. Most people he comes in contact with...
Mate: For all Kairos scares him sometimes, he really does like the cat...
Children: None.
History: No one's quite sure of where Asteil comes from. He randomly ran into raven one night-- and randomly decided he wanted to follow her home. Luckily for him, raven was depressed and didn't have the energy to hurt him. Badly.
He has no memory of his past, and this amnesia seems to pop up quite often as he seldom remembers people unless they make a big impression on him. But those he remembers become extremely dear to him-- and he often acts like a mother hen regarding his house mates.
He has something of a number of split personalities. He can be a psychologist, a jester, a philosopher, a lover-- and a number of other things, all within a span of mere moments.
Asteil has a bad habit of falling in love for a day, obsessing over others-- to the point where Sakirou has drolly deemed him a lust demon. However, as of late, he's been a lot calmer. raven suspects this has something to do with that cat he's been seeing...
Since meeting Atticus, Asteil has been having nightmares... nightmares he doesn't remember and can't explain...

History: Sakirou's a puzzle to almost everyone in the house. The Mer is an apathetic artist, whose only emotions seem to be focused ON his art. He's developed a habit of seeing how far he can push his body without water as well-- falling into spans of time where he abandons the water for hours at a time to follow his artistic persuits. This worries Asteil to no end, but Saki simply shrugs it off.
raven found him at an art show-- the Anthro was being thrown out for apparently insulting an artist's work. She took him home and kept him for a while-- and found out more about him.
He won't speak of his past to anyone-- including Asteil, which astounds everyone. But he's got no qualms about telling others what he thinks-- very bluntly and very calmly. This tends to get the boy in trouble...

History: raven found the Anthro near death after one of his shifts-- and a fight. With some help, she nursed Remus back to help, and Asteil managed to coax his past out of him-- a history untold to anyone else before that time.
Remus' parents divorced when he was young-- apparently over the boy's bite which changed him into a werewolf. His step-father, an abusive *****, took a liking to Remus and this gave Remus a slightly warped view of the world. Remus believes-- very strongly-- that no one could ever truly care about him, and he's also become something of a masochist. As he's a werewolf, any wounds heal very quickly, but at the same time, sometimes he hurts himself so badly he can't recover for days or weeks at a time.
As a werewolf, Remus is faced with continuing discrimination and he's unable to keep a steady job. For this reason, he's extremely grateful to raven for taking him in-- now he no longer has to live on the streets at least...
Due to Remus' mental issues, he has trouble in relationships and has a bit of a reputation for leaving those he cares about-- just ask Sirius Black and Severus Snape. However, Sirius, Severus and Remus have managed to work most of these issues out... we hope.

History: It's not easy to grow up in the Makai. But in Karasu's history, we see very few differences between his lifestyle and most other demons-- except, perhaps for the larger amounts of killings on his side.
Maybe it was meeting up with the right people, maybe it was just his own, twisted personality. But somehow, Karasu is quite an accomplished sadist-- and intends to turn that on whoever he falls for.
Since his dead body was brought to raven's nest by Seishirou, the Raven has been revived, and the only check on him now seems to be Seishirou... perhaps Karasu feels some sort of debt to the Angel after all.
Or maybe they just both have the same goals...

History: Old Japanese families have a habit of being hard on the children. But it creates skilled heads of the family who have the ability to do what they need to. Somehow, the Kurosaki family managed to produce a child who they trained in the traditional arts of kendo, aikido, kyudo, naginata, and judo-- and who also happened to be an empath/telepath.
Every time he displayed his powers, Hisoka was severly punished by his parents who saw him only as the next head of the family. As a result, he has lingering issues with dealing with others.
He died at age 16, after suffering for three years under a curse-- Muraki Kazutaka's curse, to be precise. Hisoka bore unfortunate witness to one of Muraki's killings, and thus, he became marked by Muraki and sentenced to a long, slow, painful death. (He hates living in the same house as Muraki, by the way.)
Another note: His name means 'Secret'. Take that as you will.
