Yi Min's Diary All I ask is that no one post in my diary. I'd much more like it if you were to PM me your thoughts and comments. I will then Quote them in my journal and respond to them. I would like my Diary to stay organized and uniform. I know, I am OCD like! THANKS!
Day 1 will start February 1st. New Month, New Start! About the Goal! Gender Female Age 21 Height 5 feet and 2 inches Current Weight 175lbs Goal Weight 130lbs Short Term Goal To loose at least 4lbs or 5lbs a month. Long Term Goal To loose a total of 42 lbs and adopt a healthier lifestyle. I'd like to loose this weight by August. This is when my husband and I are going to Las Vegas for our 2nd Anniversary.tools I have Treadmill  Small Weights  Step Aerobics Videos and Equipment  Stability Ball

Day 1: 01 Feb 07
Breakfast:I didn't eat breakfast today. I woke up late. But, I did drink a huge glass of milk. Mm. I love milk! Snack:Lunch:Tomato soup Whole grain toasted cheese Snack:Strawberry Yogurt Dinner:Baked Chicken Ceaser Salad Orange slices Water Intake:4 of 8 Activity:ThoughtsToday was a difficult day for me. I stayed up till two AM trying to finish a book for my lit appreciation class. It was a difficult book to get into and even more difficult to finish. Other students said they didn't even finish it. I got up late because of staying up late, which threw my whole day out of whack. After my dinner has settled for an hour or so, I will jump on the treadmill for about 45 minutes. I'll record that later of course. I've decided that I am going to try to start getting up early, so that I can do 45 minutes of cardio in the morning and use the evening for weights or aerobics. Not sure yet. I have a huge problem with motivate. I need to work on that.

Breakfast:A bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats with 2% Milk. Snack:Lunch:Tomato soup Shutup! I love Tomato soup. Snack:Dinner:I don't remember eating dinner lastnight. o.O Water Intake:5 of 8 Activity:My Job requires me to be available all over campus. I was on my feet all day fixing problems with computers. I think that counts as activity. My legs hurt from it. Thoughts

Day 4: 04 Feb 07 BREAK DAY! Hurrah! NEWS: I've lost 2lbs. But, I suspect this will not stay off long, as I am to be getting my period this week. = ( Also, I plan on only weighing myself once a week. It's too depressing to do everyday.
Breakfast:Snack:Lunch:Snack:Dinner:Nothing yet. Water Intake:3of 8 so far Activity:ThoughtsI've decided to make sundays my break days. I do not plan on eating everything and anything. I am still going to try to eat in proper portions. Today my husband and I are being invited to dinner with one of his friends. On Monday, I am going to start waking up a few hours early to get in a treadmill session or an aerobic video. Cross your fingers for me that I will actually do it!

Day 6: 06 Feb 07 Breakfast:Honey Bunches of Oats 2% milk Snack:Yogurt Lunch:Turkey, cheese, luttuce Sandwitch On whole weat bread Snack:Dinner:French Toast. Home-made. 2 Eggs 2% milk Wheat Bread (Sometimes I like breakfast for dinner) Water Intake:5 of 8 Activity: 30 minutes on my treadmill  20 reps each arm with small 10lbs weights Thoughts

Day 7: 07 Feb 07 Breakfast:Honey Bunches of Oats (my favorite cereal if you cannot already tell) 2% milk Snack:Lunch:PB & J sandwitch on wheat bread Orange Juice Snack:Dinner:Italian Meatballs Ceasar salad Water Intake:5 of 8 Activity: For about a hour. I am not sure how many reps I did. But, My arms are killing! Stability ball - sit ups, leg lifts. As many as I could do.  - I also just sat on it for a while. This improves balance and your core. ThoughtsStressed out from school and work. I realize working out helps to relieve stress. Hopefully this will help keep me motivated!

Day 8: 08 Feb 07 Breakfast:Honey Bunches of Oats 2% milk Snack:Lunch:Turkey and cheese on Wheat bread Snack:Dinner:Left over italian meatballs with a little bit of cheese sprinkled over them On wheat bread Water Intake:6 of 8 Activity: For about a hour or more. I did different things while watching tv too. Sit ups, dancing around, walking back and forth.  - Watched tv on my ball. lol ThoughtsSooo. tired and drained today.

-- So I was sick for about a week. I couldn't eat much. The only thing that would stay in me was crackers and water. I am better now and I am getting back on track.

Day 19: 19 Feb 07 I've lost three more pounds, but I suspect it could be from being sick. none-the-less, it still made me feel a little good.
Breakfast:crips thingies (whole grained) and 2% milk. Snack:Lunch:turkey and cheese on a bagel Snack:Dinner:Baked garlic chicken corn on the cob small amount of mashed potatoes Water Intake:6of 8 Activity: Step Aerobics for 30 minutes. Fast tempo. Boy was I tired ThoughtsTrying to get back on track after being sick with some sort of stomach virus. I feel so un-motivated right now. I am going to try to do an aerobic video today.

Small update
I've still been exercising and eating right. I am having trouble finding time to update. Classes are killing me with research projects and midterms.
I've lost two more lbs also!
168!!! wooot! I bought myself four new, nice shirts as celebration.

New Month! Day 31: 2 mar 07 weight: 168lbs this months goal: 158lbs Other goals: - Learn to get up earlier - More routine sleep schedule - working out more

I have two take home midterms to work on and a ton of independenty study to catch up. But that's ok! I feel ok about it. I plan on using spring break to train myself to get up early enough to exercise before class and work. I think I can do it. For every ten pounds I lose, I will buy myself a new outfit. XD My mother sent me a bunch of jeans each a size smaller than the next. Down to a size nine. This way, I have at least one pair of jeans to wear at each new size. It made me sooo happy. My husband has been using the gym at his work and he's looking great too!! Hurray!
