So I was looking on a DDR Mat website and I saw some DDR mats, of corse, but the ones I found were different prices but they look like they would be the same. The ones I was looking at was the Ion and the regular metal mat. I would like to know the difference of them playing wise.

What the hell, I've never seen the iON go for $700 in the first place. Way to try to boost sales guys. :/

From what little I've heard, the iON isn't too bad. Don't consider the second one unless you hate spending money wisely.

Really, a Cobalt Flux isn't much more expensive than the iON, and it's got a lot more positive feedback. Probably be safer to go that route.

Do you happen to have a link for that mat? Or is it on the site where I found the iON and the other one?

Best pad I've ever used. If you've got the money to spend, this is also getting really good reviews.

Blueshark does, Cobalt Flux does not (dining room chairs work wonders).

For the Cobalt Flux, can you buy a back bar? I use it a lot when I'm at the mall? I know that on the website that I was looking at they have back bars that you can buy and add on seperately.

The CF doesn't have any bar add-ons. There's a connector bar for Double, but that's it. I just use a dining room chair. >_>

The only new pad you can order for less than $2000 with a good, sturdy bar is the DT series, which my company makes.
The DT600 DX, DT200, and DT500 all have bars.
The DT600 DX's bar isn't as sturdy as the other two, but it's only $150 w/ bar.

Bluesharks' bars will hold you up, but they'll wobble like crazy.

You can also make a bar out of PVC; they'll hold a lot and they're very sturdy.

$250-$1000 for a s**t-pad like that?!

I can make a 10" Doubles Stage with LED's, blacklights, and glowing Lexan bars for that price range!
