His paws were tired from running far. Where was he going? He didn't know. All he knew was the way home, but that wasn't where he was going. Not yet. He still hadn't found who he was. Collapsing near a pool of water, Veshengo stared at his nose reflected in the muddy liquid. Gray, silver... He wasn't sure which it was. With a sigh, he lifted his paws to put in the water. The young male stopped, staring at them. They were so large compared to his mother's dainty paws... He shoved them in the water, one turning brown as the white fur soaked up the muddy water. The other remained the same; It was already brown. A sigh escaped as he absently lapped the water.

Shui was bounding around, azure-esque eyes peering around the area for that familiar glint of water reflecting the sun's bright rays of sunlight. Oh how he loved the water! Soon he saw something, a glint along with a black image. Quite vague, but he tilted his head, seemed interesting enough. Ooo! What if it was a possible new friend from afar?
Shui began to bound towards this newcomer, a smile upon his maw. This surely would make the day become so much brighter.
