The ramshackle housing that used to hold the testing facility of GW is now run mostly by dustlings, until the people one day return. Wisteria that was once a decoration has taken over the walls and the front porch, creating a makeshift vine ladder to the roof. Octavian resides here, as well as his progeny, and clan females.

[-Everyone's favorite psycho-] Octavian  Nicknames: Octy, Half-blood. Wish: A mad woman looked out from her padded cell one night, and wished for freedom. Her sickness passed from herself into the star, and while she was later freed, the dragon her wish gave birth to will forever suffer for it. Info This dust is haunted by a nagging concience. He's got a bad habit of saying and doing exactly what he means to, and then regretting it later. He gets mentally 'beat up' by the little angel on his shoulder if he's been particularly evil. To some he may seem to have a dual personality, but that isn't the case. It is more that he has a sadistic streak a mile wide, but is not completely mad. On some occasions, when he's previously been vicious, Octavian will be able to hold back his hostility. He'll be completely honest about what he's thinking though, both to satisfy his need to cause fear and to drive off a potential victim, for their own safety. Octavian has an obsession with feathery wings. He likes them, but more in the sense that he'd like to collect them from their owners. Octavian hates the feathered appendages on himself. If possible, he prefers to use his other pair of wings alone, and keep the feathered ones folded. Octavian's good side led to a happy, if brief, relationship with Vestakia. Though if she's ever around again, he'd be glad to get back together with her. After all, he would rescue her from death itself if it meant seeing her again. In fact, when he found his beloved lifeless, the halfbreed committed suicide to go and retrieve her. However, it was the angel Vestakia that ended up rescuing him from hell. Octavian is terrified of dying, because he knows precisely where he will end up. The two of them had three dusts, Juliana, Menhit, and Avail. The flipside, the evil, bloodthirsty instability that is the core of Octavian's being, led to a very rough evening with Toril. He forced himself on her, and the meeting accidentally left three wild dusts in the sand, giving Octavian his second breeding of Vespasian, Crowley, and Vantrel. All in all this big halfbreed is a 'buyer beware' kind of guy. He currently runs a clan of females he's essentially forced into service, though the entire thing is very loose knit and it doesn't leave these females 'off limits'. Though if Octavian ever found out one of 'his' females had been breeding outside the clan, the roving male can expect to have a little bit of a problem.

[-Angel Females-] Auriel  Haughty, proud, and mildly self-centered best describe this girl. She's old, and no longer able to breed, though Octavian has forced her into his clan anyway. She despises him, and longs to return to her freer days. A strong male who could pry her away from his clutches might be rewarded with this beautiful angel's companionship for a while, or a weaker male might be convinced to let her take refuge with him. Auriel is currently actively seeking a way out of her predicament. In the past, Auriel gave birth to the first hybrids in StarDust. Her lover, Legion, wooed her over many days in order to conquer the proud female.

[-MerDust Females-] Nereida  Innocent and shy, completely oblivious to the world. Nereida often seems like a child with an unusually deep understanding of things, but she is easily pressured and trusting.

[-Halfbreed Females-] Cicera  Cicera is very submissive and skittish. She'll do anything (almost) she's asked with a spring in her step, and refuses to get in the way of anything. Cicera is absolutely devoted to her helpful and subservient role, and at times can seem almost agressive in doing so. There are occasions in which she will not rise from the ground because of some deep need to stay 'lower' than those around her.

[-Demon Females-] Lilith  Nicknames: None. Wish: Lilith is a wish leftover from Nazi Germany. When her parents made her, the evil wish fell into her dustpan, and gave the demon life. Info:Lilith has been described plainly as a 'Purist b***h'. She's very meddling in a sly villainous sort of way, and has a tendency to cause friction between other dusts if she can. Lilith is small for her species, however, and is easily outmatched in a physical altercation. She tries to avoid blows as best she can. Her jaw still bares the remnants of an old fracture in the form of a scar on the underside of her beak. Menhit of Octavian's First Brood threw Lilith into a rock and smashed her beak after a particularly rude comment on the demon's part, making reference to Menhit's b*****d lineage of a normal dustling and a half-blood.

[-Corrupt Females-] Skadia  Nicknames: Ska, Snowy. Clan Status: None. Wish: Every child wishes for snow. One little boy managed to get his onto a falling star, and Skadia was born. Info: Named for the Norse goddess of ice and snow. Her personality fits her name, she's rather cold and strangely disinterested. Skadia has a high distaste for the heat of the desert, and is rarely found outside during the day. She wanders, tending to keep to the mountain range or the lakeside. This corrupt is friendly in spite of her demeanor, and would likely have passionate, if fleeting, relationships. She would not band with other females, as she would prefer to be a male's 'one and only' for the duration of their fling.

[-Normal Females-] Acello  Seraph  The most known about Seraph is that she guards the trinket around her neck like a hellhound. Seija  An outspoken pain in the a** at best, Seija will say anything and everything she deems appropriate. Most find her intolerable to talk to for longer than a brief period of time, or are insulted by her forward and irritating conversationalism. Morphae  A curious female, with an oddly constructed personality. She's difficult to understand and might as well be speaking in riddles.

[-Female Progeny-] Menhit  Nicknames: War. Clan Status: None. Left the shelter of her father's clan in search of something more sane. Wish: Menhit is Octavian's wish for salvation. It didn't work exactly right, but his daughter is a fiery force to be reckoned with if there is an injustice. Info: Lacking the issues of her parents, Menhit believes in balance and justice. The nature of the wish that gave her life makes her a counter-balance to Octavian's extremes.

[-Male Progeny-] Vespasian  Nicknames: Ves, Sunny. Clan Status: Subservient male in Octavian's clan. Keeps the females in line. Wish: A battered woman wished for vengeance on her husband as he was apologizing to her and promising to never strike her again. She mustered some courage and finally reported him, granting her own wish. The star fell, and gave Vespasian life. Info: Vespasian was conceived in hatred and lust and borne into childhood by his mother, Toril. Unwanted, and the product of rape, he wasn't exactly raised with love. Octavian took him from his mother once he heard that their bloody encounter had produced children in order to raise the little demon 'appropriately'. Ves is bitter, angry, and in service to his father. He is particularly hateful of females. The way that he was raised has also left the potential for him to be bisexual to the right sort of male. However, Ves would not be a 100% willing participant in a non-traditional relationship. Conversely, if he were to breed with a female, it would be out of momentary lust or designed in some way to cause her harm.
