Is it just me or does anyone else find it depressing that the same s**t that is/has been happening in ireland, aka english involvment, is also happening in other places like Tibet and Palestine. Why cant there be peace? All of these places religion is involved. Otherwise peacefull religions, yet other have to come and ******** everything up. In Tibet Millions have been killed, same a palestine. When will the violence end. It saddens me that so little of the world knows of the troubles in the north of ireland anymore. So much violence is still happening. And im even more troubled because almost no-one i have talked to that is my age has no clue of Tibet, and its a bigger problem. This is all open, please discuss your views.

"Millions"? wink

If you want people to know about Tibet, you should let them watch Seven Years in Tibet with Brad Pitt as a hot German bloke.

lmao, really, well this topic's poster is a self porclaimed provo, and he is talking about the irish/uk clash over nothern ireland. If you don't know about this conflict then all ican say is where the bleep have you been? tings have dieddown in some respects but the violence in more random and anarchy then organized paramilitary anymore. The CIRA led by Republican Sinn Fein, the 32 county sovereinty movement and the RIRA and the limit IRSM, INLA activities are the geatest of the actions after the good friday agreements. I know this fight first hand , there are many group that are not public who act.

sorry but i could not understand some words xd ...and to answer your question about where i'v been in all this years...i'm very sorry but unfortunately here in italy television do not talk of ireland troubles cause we have too much problems with our government, forgive me for my ignorance i did not want to bother u.... xd
when i went to ireland two years ago i saw some strange police cars and vans in derry and i know something about the "troubles" but i just didn't know they'r still going on...all i know is the story of bobby sand and of his mates...but i also know that now belfast has became safe, hasn't it? is the IRA still fighting?

the fighting is still going on, but it's not like it used to be. It's worse in Derry then in Belfast.
