After the frustrating conversation with the annoying, disgusting purple omega, Shore, Jaylin casully aimbled down a well trodded deer path. Her keen, cerulean orbs were focused upon the farthest set of mountains straight ahead to where Seers Cliffside resided and it was the very place where her strange visionary dream had prompted her to venture towards. Even though Shore was a bit barmy and had caused a slight kerfuffle about giving her directions, Jaylin felt that he was alright and she was in the wrong for being so harsh and argy-bargy. Putting the ordeal behind her, the young adolescent chuckled softly as she shook her head.
"At least I got directions," she grinned, her tapered, crimson hair swaying past her right eye, "and now I just have to get to the mountain."
Behind her, her fluffly-curled tail swayed side to side in a casual manner. With the sun looming overhead yet the bitter cold still present as winter's coldspell seemed to still linger reguardless of the warm temperatures, it was a good day. Anxious and feeling rejuvinated, the young wolfess began to pick up the pace and leapt into a brisk trot.
Jaylin weaved in and out through the trees, darting towards the right and leaping over fallen, decayed tree trunks and leaping through the small rivers that snaked through the territory. The Outriders packlands were certainly a ways away from here and she had barely crossed into the free range territory where no packs inhabited. Her softened, cerulean orbs mulled over the familiar scenery. This place amongst the woods was well kown where lone wolves, stray and abandoned pups were commonly found and it was the very place where her own father, Cellen, and her Shaman Uncle, Reno, started their new lives. It was this place that every wolf seemed to have in common and knew fairly well for many wolves began their new lives within this territory.
Panting as her tounge lolled out from her mouth with great breaths, Jaylin slowed her pace and settled down upon her haunches. Though she had traveled a few miles now, the young wolfess was still tired from the sleepless nights that had plauged her. Glancing about, Jay slumped onto her stomach and curled her tail around her.
"I could use a good rest," she coaxed herself slowly as her eyes flickered, growing heavy with each passing moment. "Just a little nap..."
With that, the young adolescent yawned and tucked her head between her forepaws. Every Seer in training needed a nap and this was the perfect time.

Slowly but surely, a life was beginning to form for the young pup with the sun kissed pelt. It had started off rough, her parents never returning for her on that fateful day in the meadow...yet it was slowly fading from her memories. That day she had met two Adults, one a beautiful female and the other a mute by the name of Sekani whom had been kind to her. Also, three other pups whom seemed to be orphaned like she...which in a sense, made the little one happy she was not the only one in such a situation. It seemed after much debate and some tear stained nights - that she was going to be okay afterall.
Padding through the underbrush of the forest to keep out of sight was a skill she had learned useful in her short time here, her lithe body able to hide away from the eyes of feirce Alpha's and sadistic wolves. However...today didn't seem to be such a fortunate day for the pup...unaware of what lay ahead of her on the path.
Unaware of what she was even doing as she treaded out of the bush with her eyes gazing up to the canopy of leaves above....Bindi barely noticed that she stepped right onto the tail of a sleeping Wolfess. Jumping back in mere startle as her body skidded back right into a tree, the pup stared with wide eyes. "I..I...I'm sorry!" She whined, her ears flattened as she trembled in anticipation to wether she needed to run or defend herself.

Peaceful, relaxing.
When was the last time Jaylin had managed to be so fortunate to find alone time as well as ample time to rest? Her ears flickered as she mumbled, her mind at rest and untroubled by the dreams that had for so long haunted her- creeping at the back of her mind unceasingly and taunting her with scattered visions and promptings that seemed so surreal yet, in a way, knew they needed to come to pass and be manifested in a tangible manner.
Shifting slightly as she laid her head across her forepaws, Jaylin's nap would soon be over.
With the sudden weight upon her tail, the wolfess leapt upwards alarmed as a bark sounded from her maw. "I'm up! I'm up!" She drowzily yipped as she staggered several paces on her feet. Though not fully awake and the sensations of weariness hanging over her, Jaylin's eyes widened slightly as she viewed the one whom had stepped upon her fluffy, curly tail.
It was a pup.
Shaking her head and blinking severa times, the young Seer in training smiled warmly. "Don't worry about it, kid," she softly spoke, a mild laugh trailing from her maw. "It was an accident." Taking a step forwards, Jaylin arched a brow. Was this puppy afraid of her? The wolfess tilted her head slightly as her tapered, crimson bangs swept over her right eye. "Hey, it's alright, really. I'm not going to hurt you."
Smiling with a nod of reassurance, Jaylin grinned. "I'm Jaylin, or Jay for short. What's your name?"

Closing her small eyes as she awaited some sort of punishment, it never came. Instead, when she opened her bright blue eyes to see the warm smile on the female's maw as well as the small chuckle, this raised the pup's confidence.
"I am really sorry.."
She spoke up, yet perked up and trotted over to get a closer look at this female. She looked older yet not as old as some of the other wolves she'd seen...and this gave her a course of excitement.
"Its nice to meet you Jaylin!" The pup yipped happily, her tail swaying rapidly back in forth as she was in awe of the older wolfin.
"My name is Bindi!" She beamed, trotting almost regally around the other femme as she too wished to show off her grace....even if it was limited in her small puppy frame.
"Why were you sleeping, Jay?"
Bindi asked curiously as her head cocked to the side to elaborate her wonder. It was funny to see an adult sleeping during the day, as even she as a pup had a hard time taking naps when there was so much to see and do!

The young adolescent shook her head as her tail thumped behind her. "Don't worry about it. It was just an accident," she softly laughed, her eyes holding a deepened curiosity within the cerulean pools.
A small yawn escaped from the females maw, her ears swiveling back slightly as her eyes fluttered. Oh, the wonders of the woods! One would believe that they had found peace and quite- a tranquil and remote getaway, until one just so happens to run into another wolf who was lurking about. It never did bother Jaylin but, like always, it made her smile as seeing new faces, especially pups, around the woods was another adventure in itself in getting to meet other wovles and familiarizing herself with the individuals.
"Bindi," Jaylin repeated, letting the sound roll of her tounge. "You have a pretty name, Bindi."
Watching as the pup seemed to trot around her, the seer in training grinned as she slinked her forpaws forwards in a stretch and slumpped onto her stomach. At the question, Jaylin tilted her head slightly and knitted her brows in thought. "Well," she began with a smirk, "I just needed to rest a bit. I haven't been able to sleep well at night because of- I guess just from some really weird dreams."
It would be hard to blatantly tell the young wolf that she was a seer and that her journey was hindering her access to hours of sleep but, rather, it seemed best to stay that it was because of her dreams which, in fact, was certainly true. The mind of the young wolfess had been restless, plauged and sentenced with attempts to decipher dreams with hidden meanings and context. It was troublesome and a frustrating but, slowly, Jaylin was getting the hang of being capable to understand such visions and urges. Her ears fell back slightly as she glanced to the side. Where was Hallie? Was she okay? Jay didn't know but could only hope that her friend was well in her journey as well.
Eyeing the pup curiously, the wolfess settled her head upon her crosse forepaws and perked her ears forward with interest. "So what brings you out here, Bindi? Do you have a pack?"

"Alright." Bindi nodded, pausing before the young seer in training as her own azure eyes observed quietly as she dropped to her stomach. Feeling awkward for being the one standing, in a effort to make herself seem as graceful and grown up as Jay, she too slid to the ground in a calm mannor. Turning her gaze up to the sky for a breif moment, she took in the brilliant light of the sun as it filtered nicely to the ground through the canopy of leaves above. It set the mode to relax and enjoy the day...which was what she planned to do.
Blusing softly as her muzzle turned back down, she embelished the compliment given to her with a nod. "Thank you, Jay." A smile spread onto her sunny maw, it was probably the affection of others that she lifed for at the moment, needing the feel that she was infact worth such praise and concern from the devastating notion of being left behind. Even if one wolf could tell her something to make her see her own self worth...then the day would go by in a pleasant note. Perhaps it was vainity, yet it was all Bindi had at the moment.
Cocking her head to the side, the young pup looked on in wonder at the new topic. "You mean sleep stories?" She inquired, knowing the term from her mother as she too seemed to have them more or less. She had one once...yet it seemed to be just like a normal day to the wolf pup and when she awoke in the cold darkness of the night it was a shock to her senses and took a moment to register what had happened.
"No, I don't. I'm alone, so I just wander now. I have some friends though, and see them from time to time!" Her tail picked up and wagged merrily, remembering the fun pack like behaviour of Litre, Alexander and Nuenen, not to mention the other wolves which had found their way to the meadow because of her.
"What about you? Are you in a pack?"

Her ears flickered, her head tilted slightly as she furrowed her brows. It made her heart ache to hear pups say that they were alone- they were left to wander within the woods and stand against death at all times. It was a hard life but, for some, there always seemed to be a light that could lead the strays from out of the darkness, giving them hope that there was such thing as a better life.
It took strength of heart, determination and a will to survive but, nevertheless, it was possible.
The young Seer hesitantly smiled with a small chuckle, "Yeah, those weird stories that- that just never make sense." Darkness, voices, paradise- Rakuen. What did it all mean? It was so strange, so surreal. This certainly a topic she would need to discuss with Reno or Hallie or any other Seer. Jay-Jay couldn't probe her own mind for such an answer and would certainly need help in this situation.
But she could worry about that later.
"It's always good to have friends around here," she smiled, tail thumping behind her as she nodded her head. Without her friends, Jay wouldn't be where she was today and- well, it was hard to think of her life without Reno or Hallie. A Shaman and two Seers; they were an odd bunch but they stuck by each other through thick and thin and that was what mattered. And having a 'clique' and a crew to wander about with and those who could keep your every secret and read you like an open book was the best anyone could ever ask for.
Jaylin perked her ears upwards not expecting the question to return to her in the slightest. Some pups kept to themselves but, on the other hand, Bindi seemed more inquisitive than most. "Me? I'm from the Outriders pack; it's near the ocean and stretches far across the coast. But right now I'm wandering alone...I guess you can say I'm on an adventure or a treasure hunt." Telling a pup whose comprehension was not as extensive as an adolescents made it a bit challenging to actually explain why she was literally out in the middle of nowhere. But maybe to give it a twist of mishief, Jaylin could make the small pup understand a little better.
"Can you keep a secret?" She asked in an enthused, hused voice as she drew her muzzle closer to the pup. With a broad grin stretched across her maw, Jaylin spoke softly into the small mind of the female.
I'm training to become a Seer.
