On Saturday, at about 10pm EST (i don't know the JPT), Tatsuya Fujiwara, who played Light in the movies, was hit by a car while reading the Death Note manga! He was last reported to be in critical condition! D:

Light must not have liked his performance in the movies, and now he's out to get him. eek
But seriously, that's kind of weird, but then why was he reading while driving? Or was he just hit by a car while not driving?

He was in the passenger side as far as i know, and i haven't heard anything since. (It was on a Chinese site and i used a translator to read it when i saw his name on there and "Death Note."
I should go back and see if there was an update. It was so long ago.. D:

This is late but that's absolutely terrible! Even though I didn't think he quite resembled Light, his being hit by a car is awful.
