Okay, this is probably a stupid question.
Everyone knowns our loveable Edward can read minds. What if ANOTHER vampire that could read minds, the EXACT same way Edward does, without like, touch or anything. Could he read Edward's mind? And if Edward were reading someone's mind, could the other vampire hear the thoughts of the person Edward is reading, through Edward's head???
And say, that there was some special vampire, that could read Bella's mind. I know, I know, no vampire who acts through the mind can affect Bella, but if for some reason they COULD, would Edward be able to read the special vampire's mind, and hear Bella's thoughs???
Okay, sorry for confusing anybody.
OH! if someone were reading Edward's mind, and he read their mind, would he be able to hear his own thoughts?
Okay, enough. I'm done, for real this time.
Sorry if this was a stupid question(s).

Hmm, that's an interesting question. The other mind reader would probably be able to read what thoughts Edward is reading at the same time he was reading them. I think I confused myself.
But if they just kept reading each other's mind, it would probably have a paradox effect. Or an echo. That would be entertaining. 3nodding

Suprisingly, I understand what you're saying too. I really wonder, why is Bella immune to their powers? But yes, it would be interesting to see what Edward is thinking.

xd Wow. You really did put thought into this, didn't you?
That's a really interesting concept though... I guess we wont really know until there's another vampire like Edward thrown into the story.
It's all pretty possible though 3nodding . I like the way you think!

I believe that he'd likely only be able to read the thoughts of Edward himself. If he were to think about what he was hearing, then the other vampire might be able to hear the other person's thoughts.
Like I said I don't think that it would be possible to read someone's thoughts through a third person, unless they actually think about what they are hearing and even then only their reactions to it. So no, I don't think Edward would be able to tell Bella's thoughts even then, unless the other vampire related them to him.
As to your last question... my whole post has said this: I think not.
Froggyfrogfrog... Bella is immune to that power, because she has a 'very private mind' in Stephenie Meyer's own words. No powers that work with the mind affect her because of it.

Interesting questions. I ever really thought of anything like that. I makes sense, I understand it. But..it's weird. I like it though. It made me laugh.

If such a vampire did exist, I hope it would be a drinker of human blood. Crazy plot twist!
Maybe named James 2! (j/k, j/k...)

I feel like this was partly answered at the end of New Moon, but I guess the only way to get a true answer would be to try e-mailing Stephenie herself.
As for hearing what Edward is hearing, I mean I would think only if he was focusing on what they were thinking. At least that's partly how I understood the way Edward read minds. Cuz you're thinking about a lot of stuff at any given time, but only the stuff you're focused on is what gets broadcasted. Does that make sense???
