I like Kennedy and don't understand why everyone seems to hate her sad

[ I think it's for two reasons: ]
[ For Tara supporters, it's because she replaced Willow's love. That was very depressing. Also because Willow said she loved 'woman', not 'women', and Kennedy kind of ruined that. ]
[ And second, because of how much of a b***h she was to Buffy during the mutiny. So were a lot of people, but most of them had known Buffy for years. But them came Kennedy, potential Slayer, has known Buffy for a very short amount of time, and therefore doesn't know her at all, and she contributes largely to kicking Buffy off of the team that Buffy is captain of. ]
[ Those are just my opinions though. biggrin ]

I don't disagree but I think that people should cut her some slack. Buffy was kinda a b***h though. I dont think anyone could ever replace Tara, Kennedy was just Kennedy.

Buffy was a b***h in the 7th season too, which justified her being booted out. But throwing Kennedy into the mix... Too many bitchy females taking a leadership role.

Kennedy hadn't earned the right to criticize as much as she did.

Yeah she did, and she was great for Willow. You can't replace Tara, but Kennedy made room in Willow's heart for her cheese_whine

She grated on a lot of people's nerves though scream

I can find some good characteristics of Kennedy, but the main thing of it was, I didn't like her because of how quick she was put in there, and how much of a major douche-bag she was right off. Her character was already "take charge" and that was way too rushed. At least with the other characters Joss put in there in past seasons, they gave you time to get to know the characters and try to like them. Sort of the same with Riley. Not too many liked him because he replaced Angel, but he was more liked than Kennedy, I can tell you that much.

I think they made Kennedy as a head strong character for a change of pace from Tara. I mean, Kennedy probably was used to handling things on her own or once a problem arose. She never denied what she was, as neither did Buffy.

Also, the Kennedy character was rushed because they had already known that season seven was it. Although I agree that her persona came out very strong, but some people are like that and it added drama to the show. If everyone just took things as Buffy told them just because she was once "The Slayer" that would have made things a bit boring, if you ask me.

Personally, I love Kennedy. I see nothing wrong with her. But that's just me. 3nodding

I can find some good characteristics of Kennedy, but the main thing of it was, I didn't like her because of how quick she was put in there, and how much of a major douche-bag she was right off. Her character was already "take charge" and that was way too rushed. At least with the other characters Joss put in there in past seasons, they gave you time to get to know the characters and try to like them. Sort of the same with Riley. Not too many liked him because he replaced Angel, but he was more liked than Kennedy, I can tell you that much.

I HATE Riley. Not because he replaced Angel but because Buffy stabbed Faith to save Angel then they break up and like 2 weeks later Buffy it with Riley scream WHAT THE HELL!!!! BUFFY SHOULD BE WITH FAITH BECAUSE FAITH LOVES HER AND FAITH IS SUPER MEGA AWESOME! scream GRR ARGG!!!
