Welcome to The Culinary Exchange! Basically this is a safe haven for all kinds of food lovers. If you have some good recipes you'd like to share, feel free to post them in one of the subforums. If you try out a recipe someone else has posted and found that it was amazing (or not), leave a comment to let them know! (But please be nice.)
The only thing I ask in this guild is to be nice, and to try and be legible. When posting a recipe, make sure you have ingredients, measurements, and basic cooking instructions! It's kind of hard to cook without all that. blaugh
The rest of this thread is here for everyone to introduce themselves! So just type up a quick line or two about yourself, and hopefully we'll all make some more friends!

Alright, I'll start the intros. I'm Pixie, and I pretty much just thought it would be nice to have somewhere like this to exchange recipes and culinary tips with other people who love cooking as much as I do. I mostly cook Indian dishes, and I don't do much baking, but I hope to find some good new recipes to try out!!!

I'm Sammi! I'm English, and kinda trying to revive old classic "English" dishes such and steamed pies and puddings, roast dinners and such...
But I also love cooking Italian, Indian and your basic stirfrys...
I would love to know if anyone has any great Thia recipes!

I'm AnglofdeathmkII, my real name is Wes, call me whatever you want... I'm a culinary student, and I love to cook all types of food, especially Sea Food, oh and potatoes, potatoes rule! and soups, I've invented a few already, and meat, and chicken, oh I just love to cook lol smile

I'm Kayy. I'm actually a music student but I'm thinking culinary school might be in the works. I'm from Canada. I am the baking queen. I love to bake pretty much anything, though I'm no where near where I'd like to be! biggrin I also cook a lot of stir frys and ummmm... i'm a student so quick healthy things are usually what's on the menu!

Heya! biggrin Name's Redeption, but I guess you can call me Red, or something. Anyway, I'm just a 14 year old, that happens to kind of enjoy cooking, but really has no idea as to what the heck she's doing. sweatdrop So... I'm gonna learn what the heck I'm doing! 4laugh WOO!

I'm turns_forever (in honour of my bf's nickname), and I'm 19, and a student. I LOVE cooking yummy things...all different kinds of cuisine- it doesn't matter. And I love to eat it too! heart I was a huge addict to The Food Network until I went back to school- now none of my favorite shows are on when I'm home sad
Basically I just love everything to do with food though...this is the perfect place for me!!

h!l0. i'm amethyst or rebecca, whichever you prefer. i am 17 years old and currently completing my last year of high school. i plan on further pursueing my interest in the culinary arts by attending a college near where i live to take a course in restaurant management. 3nodding
i like both cooking and baking, but i can't get enough of the sweets! those are my specialty. i hope to learn alot of more about life in the kitchen fromthose who have more experience and to learn abpout new foods. and, i collect recipes! biggrin

Hello I am TheDragonGuardian also known as Santa or Solar. I am attending Le Cordon Blue this August. All though I am not much of a chef I do love cooking big meals for people. My specialities are in Thanksgiving dinners. The most I have done is cook 3 thanksgiving diners in one day. I am going to become an Culinary Arts Chef.

Hey everyone! I'm Breanna. I LOVE to cook and bake and I will hopefully be attending Le Cordon Bleu Cooking and Hospitality Institute in Chicago the coming fall. I'm looking forward to meeting people with the same passion for cooking as I have and to get a few new recipes.

Hello, I'm Bernadette and I'm a culinary student only a few months away from finally graduating! I like to cook but I love to bake. There's a joke going around that if I should ever get into an accident people are going to break into my place to steal all of my recipes.
I want to learn traditional tea brewing so I can open my own little tea house.

I'm turning 16 this September and, while I do not intend to go into the culinary arts professionally, I am quite interested in cooking. My father owns a bar/restaurant - so I know a good deal about the business - and as for my actual skills... I can cook essentially any pasta dishes, Japanese foods, Egyptian foods, and pastries/baked goods/desserts... my weakness is mostly cooking meat - never can really time that right (although I can make pretty good meatballs - and I love chicken).  Can feel the purest of love <<
