I'm not going to lie and say that he's incapable of being a decent, and rather sweet young man because the fact of the matter is that he can be when he wants to be. That's the thing, though. He doesn't want to be. Instead of being the best person he can be, he revels in highlighting the unappealing aspects of his personality. He is vulgar and antagonistic when he doesn't have to be. I see the potential in him and I know that if he tried, he could be an awesome person. I really wish he would try and we've all of us in our own way attempted to convince him that he should.

The bottom line, though it makes me sad to say it, is that he isn't trying and shows no desire to. The potential is there, but without the drive, it isn't worth as much. I think that an ultimatum would be best in this situation. Either he cleans up his act and tries to be decent, or he stays booted. If he gets back in and does decide to clean up his act, there should be a rule that he will get kicked out of the guild if he reverts back to his old ways and becomes unreasonably mean or vulgar. This would ensure that he can only be in the guild if he's willing to put some effort into behaving in a civil manner.
