The only one I remember was one that really amused my mother.

I went into labour and delivered my son, except he turned out to be a vividly colored tropical fish. The aquarum I had for him was really old and broken and the water in it was stagnant and the tank was bare. But then, along came my father and fixed up the tank so that it was like brand new and put fresh water and nice gravel and water plants and a filter in and added little statues for my little fish to play around.

This was before I told my parents I was pregnant. I thought they would disown me if they knew. I was living in a run down duplex. Well, I was renting out one room and it was really tiny. I was paying half of the rent/bills when there were three of us and the only time I left my room was to go to the bathroom, grab a sandwich or go out looking for a job. I had no money either. My life was the worst it had ever been.

I had no clue that my dream would be right. After I told my parents I was (eight and a half months) pregnant, my father couldn't be happier (it did take him a day to get over the shock). He always wanted a baby around. He is my step dad and came into our lives when I was three and my sister was 18 months. My mother can't have any more children so when he found out I was gonna have a little baby he was ecstatic. Even more so when I gave birth and it was a boy (I only had one ultrasound... it was a week before I had my son... and I didn't ask to know the sex. I wanted to be surprised), and that I gave him my dads name as his middle name :3 My dad buys him so much stuff it is amazing ^__^

During the first month or so of being pregnant I had the most horrible nightmares 2-3 times a week and sometimes more. I remember one where my son died and it was my father fault some how and we lived in the ocean. I went back in time to save him and he died again any way. I screamed and screamed in the dream and tried to kill myself.

I had a dream that I was pregnant and I had to tell my parents and lets just say that things went badly.

The last dream was about my grandmother who died from cancer. We got in an argument because she found out I was pagan and pregnant and I said horrible things to her. I could smell her and feel her presence to the point that it was almost as if she were actually there. I woke up crying and didn't stop crying for a while. I think of all the dreams that, that was the worst one because my grandmother meant more to me than any person for a very long time. She used to tell me how beautiful and smart I was. It was like she was my only ally in life. That and she thought I was someone special. I miss her and felt horrible about the dream. I was just starting to get over her being dead. This was also shortly after my boss hired an older black lady that was so much like my grandmother that I couldn't stand it. I just cried...I dunno...its weird.

I recently had one dream where a friend was giving birth to twins and my husband and I were adopting them. I was late to the hospital by a few minutes and missed them being born and by the time I got there my husband had already named them. There was a boy and a girl and he named the girl Theresa (I don't remember what the boy's name was - obviously it didn't bother me much). I was strongly opposed to Theresa for some reason, but he wouldn't even consider talking about it, told me how and why he chose it, then told me I was too secular. @_@

Veddy, veddy interestink. I'm not pregnant ( crying ), but I had to share because it amuses me. biggrin

I had many, many vivid giving birth dreams but the most memorable was when I actually had the baby (in most of those dreams I awoke just before she came out) and she was a penguin! No one else seemed to think that this was wrong....they were all commenting on how beautiful her feathers were and how healthy and orange her feet were but I was totally stunned. My last day in the hospital I walked down to the giftshop to get her a little something (cause I GOTTA shop xp ) and what did I find??? A really cute little stuffed penguin with long eyelashes and a pink bowtie!
I also had a really neat thing happen to me when I was preggers with her...About 3 days before my 6th month....I was laying on the couch listening to my tummy gurgle and swoosh with the BeBe sounds thingy and I fell asleep. I dreamed that I was sitting under a tree next to a little wicket bassinet where I knew my baby was sleeping.....I wanted to look at her but up until this point whenever I tried (in my dreams) I could never see her face...it would be like blurry or covered and the dream would end. I finally take a deep breathe and look into the bassinet and there, looking back at me with HUGE blue eyes is my little daughter. She had brown hair with wild little curls everywhere, her Daddies eyes but my face. I was so excited that I awoke instantly and called Larry to tell him that I had seen our daughter. He was like "alright" cause he knows that I have had psychic experiences before so I tell him all about her and guess what......she looked EXACTLY like that when she was born, except that she didn't have much hair until she was about 6 months old and when it came in, it came in wild and curly! I still truly beleive that she and I truly connected that day!!!

I think my favorite baby dream was the one where I dreamt my baby came out with the ability to talk mind to mind.

Everyone always said "My, you have the happiest and quietest baby!" - I'd just grin and the baby would say something silly about that person.

Too bad they can't do that! Saves a lot on the eardrums with crying and all...

Oh I've had bizarre dreams since I've been pregnant. Even before I knew I was having a girl, I always had a baby girl in my dreams. The most unusual dream I had though, was one where I was in a cab, and it was pouring rain outside, and the cab is driving me (a VERY pregnant me) through the city, and at a traffic light, I make him stop...in the middle of the intersection, because there's a penguin out there, and I have to save it because "penguins are endangered" (or at least, that's what I kept repeating in the dream). So I'm running around in the middle of a busy city intersection, pregnant, and in the pouring rain, chasing a penguin! I caught him, finally, and get him in the cab with me, and he shakes himself off, thanks me, and I wake up.
