So far I've only finished three books this year:
01 Devices and Desires : K.J.Parker (The Engineer Trilogy Book One) : 706 02 Academ's Fury : Jim Butcher (Book Two of the Codex Alera) : 534 03 The Shadow of the Wind : Carlos Ruiz Zafón : 486
In 2006 I read 55 books with a total of 21015 pages, and I plan on breaking that this year.

Hm, lesse...
Shade's Children by Garth Nix (fantasy) Lucas by Kevin Brooks (romance?) Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro (science fiction) Bridget Jones I and II (romantic comedy. Bought because it was on sale for £2. xD)
My goal this year is to broaden my horizons. In other words, stop reading so much fantasy. xd At the moment i'm half way through Eragon and still waiting for it to get interesting.

I never keep track of the number of books I read. I'm really bad at the whole consistancy thing. But I know I read at LEAST one book a week, but my best guess would be 12?

Ehm, lesse, I've been pretty busy this year so far, so let's count:
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - (reading the fourth book to tide me over till this summer) - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (read about five times in succession already)
I think that's all I read, to be quite honest... it's really sad. I want to read as many books as I can this year, though. Does anyone have any suggestions of books similar to the HP series I can dig into? I'm really trying to tide myself over sweatdrop
... my dad says it's really sad that Harry Potter's been my only focus in life...
