heart Thread up
I must skitter to work, but I didn't want to forget.
Aurora paced by the stream. This is where she had met SnowChaser, so she was hoping if she spent enough time here he'd come by again. He seemed nice, and she was lonely even though she tried to hide that fact.

SnowChaser walked along the rolling green fields. He skimmed for the star mare he'd met the other day. Tossing his mane lightly, the stallion nickered to the winds. He felt so alive in the wild of the herd lands. He had a herd but alot of the time just glided around, watching over all the herds. But that wasn't on his list of adventures today. Nope. He wanted to find the mare that he'd taken a real liking to. Aurora. He made his way over to the stream, smiling warmly when he spotted her.

Aurora's heart lept as she made out SnowChaser. She silently chided herself, she shouldn't be getting this attached, seeing as she knew how all encounters with others ended when she was around. She shook her head, trying to clear her mind a bit. She wouldn't blow it this time. If she didn't care what happened, then she wouldn't be sad when she snapped and he left. But even the thought of that made her a little sad. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, trying to get ahold of herself before SnowChaser got there. After a few seconds she opened her eyes and forced her face into a smile. Be NICE! She thought to herself.
"Hey there!" She said happily and it was genuine too.

SnowChaser smiled warmly. He bowed his head lightly, silver peices of silk like mane falling over one of his eyes. He resumed his stance and focused himself to her. He'd searched everywhere and was quite pleased on finding her at last. He felt asif he'd grown attached to her. But he was also waiting for her to show her true colors. He wanted her to feel comfortable around him. It juse be loose and relaxed. Trust him and be able to open up to him. "Hello, Aurora. How are you?" he asked in his regular strong, charming tone.

Aurora giggled and blused. "How are you?" She looked down and kicked and the ground with her hoof. "I was going to look around for you, but then I realized I really didn't know where to find you. So I just came back here every once in awhile to see if you'd be here."
Without thinking she stepped forward and nuzzled him. Once she realized what she was doing she stepped back shyly and lowered her head so her mane covered her eyes. She had startled herself with that gesture, she just hoped it wouldn't upset him.

SnowChaser blinked. He smiled warmly and lowered his head, blowing her mane from her face, "Why hide such a beautiful face, my dear? I've been looking for you all day, plus some." he chuckled ightly. He wrapped a wing over her,"No frowns." he added.

"B-beautiful? Me?" She looked at him, sincere in her question. She had no reason to doubt she was beautiful, but she'd never had anyone call her that...it had just never occured to her.
"You've been looking for me too? Neat. I've only ever had my mom and dad come looking for me."

SnowChaser smiled, "Is it ok if I look for you? I don't want you getting mad. And of course your beautiful. What kind of a silly question is that?" he smiled and pulled her close, covering her with his wing.

"I don't mind. I like having someone to talk to, atleast for now. It's been awhile since my mom and dad visited. So it's nice to have company. And thank you."
She smiled as he draped his wings around her. The feathers tickled her back and she giggled.

SnowChaser chuckled" Is that a smile I see? I believe it is." he chuckled and nuzzled her neck lightly. "So tell me. What have you been up to lately, my dear?"

She blushed slightly. "It is a smile, and it's all your fault." She giggled and nuzzled him back. "I haven't been up to much. Waiting to see you again. Making myself a little 'home' to keep warm in this weather." She paused and looked around. "Would you like to see?"

(solo)
Aurora hadn't seen SnowChaser in days, or had it been weeks? She couldn't remember. She was beginning to get worried.
You should be worried, a voice whispered through her head. He's left you just like everyone else. Left you to be alone with me again. Face it, it's just the way things are.
Aurora snorted. "Don't say that! He was different."
No he wasn't, he just hadn't seen what you become.
Aurora didn't know how to respond, because deep down that's what she feared to be true.
When there was no responce, the voice laughed in her head. It had won this time.
Aurora went and laid down. She didn't know what to do. She didn't want to argue with the voice anymore, if it won it seemed to be able to control her easier, and she didn't want that. She had to hold out hope, it was all she had.
"SnowChaser, where are you?" She whispered as she drifted off to sleep. "I miss you...I need you..."

SnowChaser galloped up toward where He'd left Aurora. He felt awful for not seeing her in so long. But he was back and determined to find the lovely mare. He soon spotted her and galloped up to her, "Aurora!" he called out.

Aurora startled, turned toward the sound of her name. Her heart lept when she saw Snowchaser coming her way. She took a step, the hesitated.
He'll just hurt you again...
She frowned, waying the odds.
You know he will. You're not strong enough. Let me talk to him. I'll make sure he never hurts you again.
Before she could reply, Aurora was thrust back, not physically but mentally. She could still see out of her eyes, but it was like she was just watching in a strangers body. She could not do anything, say anything. She wept, inside her head. "No, no, not again" She thought. Pleaded it to be said, but she could not gain control.
