Stretching his wings the great white god smiled, looking towards where the sun would surely set in a little while. But when it would, brilliant colors would light up the sky, starting it aflame with hues of oranges and red so real you could almost feel the heat of fire.
Though fire wasn't his favorite thing...
A few times, his wings had 'accidentally' caught on fire. Though it was the antics of his brother, somehow he found fire in the strangest places, usually after lightning would strike a tree or something. But no, tonight was a night for pleasure and reflection. To smile upon his accomplishments, to try and make better his mistakes.
Yes, all would be well.
He remembered the friends he had made so far, the one he searched for while he himself was hunted by his brother. He would end his search someday, visit his friends again soon. Yes, that would be wonderful, truly wonderful in his black eyes.

Kimaria strolled through the borders of the rogue territory. She was deep in thought and clearly determined. With her ears lowered, the young female bit onto her lower lip nervously. So near her was the land of her mother and yet she found herself unable to take the first few steps towards it.
What if the other lions did not approve of her? Maybe her mother had left for far greater reasons than she had disclosed before? With a shake of her head, the lioness released a deep sigh. She knew she was only acting foolish and thinking too deeply on the subject. If they did not accept her, she had her quests to continue.
Kimaria, a young mistweaver female, was deeply interested in the connection between the Gods and the mortals. She had heard many rumors and stories since cubhood of lions walking the earth among them and aiding those who needed help. There were also others, she knew of, that came only to harass and darken the lives of a select few.
Suddenly caught up in her thoughts, Kimaria grinned. She would put off the mistweavers for another amount of time and set off again towards the immortals. If only she could catch a glimpse of one...

K'Anatak stopped and took a breath, padding along again he stopped and did the same, he repeated this several times. He was a bit tired, his pelt was a bit dirty also. He stopped finally and cleaned off his fur, it was mainly the wings on his forelegs that had gotten a bit dusty. After a short while both wings were clean and he smiled, things were back as they should be.
Somewhat, but not really.
Elaborating on the thought K'Anatak knew that nothing was the same, nothing was as it should be. He sighed, all his friends, he missed them. He should visit them again sometime. Perhaps he should even seek out his father again, ask advice on what to do, how to approach some things. He wasn't sure, he was never sure.

Kimaria had heard rustling from nearby and her ears perked in order to better hear whatever might be nearing. Noticing that the sounds paused as though whatever creature that was walking had stopped, she too, remained at a stand still. Swallowing lightly, the pale colored mistweaver brought her body low to the ground and continued to glance around.
When she finally got a glimpse of the pale colored male only a few feet away, her eyes widened with shock. What he appeared to be was beyond Kimaria's comprehension. Beautiful white, feathered wings remained folded atop his back and smaller, white, ankle wings were currently being cleaned at. The beauty in such a simple act of cleaning himself had the lioness stunned. She found herself frozen where she was, unable to act or even speak.
When Kimaria was a cub, her mother told her stories of the Gods and Goddesses that watched them from up above, in the sky. They would shine brightly as the stars and ensure their lives would remain plentiful and healthy. It was the Gods that Kimaria thanked when they allowed both her mother and her to escape their lands unscathed. Now it was the Gods in which Kimaria was seeking in order to question where to go in her life. Without her mother, Kimaria felt somewhat lost...

K'Anatak wasn't sure what to do, move on, try to forget the past? No, he could try to push it behind him but he had a feeling anything he would try to push away would come back to him eventually. Life was strange like that, though it seemed like life was never in his favor. He flicked his tail and tried to muse to himself on how to proceed currently, but he came up with nothing.
Why could nothing satisfy his boredom and sadness lately?
Perhaps he was trying too hard to be happy.
"What to do..." he said aloud, peered around, why did he feel as if he was not alone? Oh no...what if his brother was here, K'Anatak crouched to the ground and then lay upon it, if his brother sprung out in an attempt of an attack, he'd be ready...

Although the God appeared to be deep in thought, Kimaria could not lose her opportunity to speak to a true God. Having heard rumors of lions being too bold in approaching, the female was certain to keep low to the ground in a sign of respect. She walked quietly towards the male, her eyes wide with curiousity. Once she was within hearing range, she slowly lifted herself, though remained with her head bowed and her shoulders lowered. A slight fear kept the female from standing at her fullest height.
Looking out under a large tuft of fur atop her head, the female noticed that the God had lowered himself as well. Worried now, Kimaria lowered herself even further, her belly touching the soft earth below her. In almost a whisper, she finally spoke, "...Greetings.. I am mortal, Kimaria.." Her words came out almost rehearsed, as though she had been told what to say if ever to come across a God.

Jet black hues then set on a lighter figure then what he had expected, his brother was completely black, not the color of this stranger, this female e noticed after a second or so. Flicking his tail, seeing her he raised himself from his position, seeing that she was low to. He wondered if he had scared her...he hoped not.
He chuckled, curled his wings against his white pelt, "Mortal or not it is a pleasure to meet you Kimaria, I am K'Anatak, God of Reflection, no need to be afraid, I thought you were another," which didn't say too much for him considering he was a god and shouldn't fear anyone.
But he did...stupid brother.

Kamaria felt her body grow somewhat tense upon hearing the God laugh in her direction. Had she been behaving foolishly? Certainly any mortal that layed eyes upon a God would act similarly. Kamaria could not dream of acting otherwise. As the God introduced himself, the young lioness allowed her form to lift slowly, though not completely. Like the Goddess she had met only weeks prior, this God seemed compassionate and understanding. He gave off a sort of kindness that Kamaria was eager to learn more of.
As Kamaria became comfortable in her semi-stand, she looked over the male curiously. He was much simpler than the female she had run across, though he was not any less amazing. Kamaria's eyes focused on his large, bird-like wings and the feathers sticking off of his paws. If Kamaria was not trembling slightly from intimidation, she might have thought this male was attractive. "It is more than a pleasure to meet you K'Anatak."
Kamaria thought about his introduction and wondered just what exactly the God of reflection would be doing alone. Perhaps reflecting? she laughed inwardly to herself.

K'Anatak chuckled, pulled his wings against his back more so that he could relax his shoulders a bit. "More then a pleasure? Do you like gods and goddesses Kimaria?" he asked curiously? He was just wondering after all, no harm in wonder, not like he was prying with his abilities to get the answers on his own. That would be rude, and a miss-use of power. He would never do such a thing, not even to a mortal let alone a female. Let alone to anyone.
"Are you traveling Kimaria? Looking for new places to explore? Or just out on a walk, if you do not mind my asking of course," he said with a nod. His white mane falling into the view of his black eyes.

At the question, Kamaria's face became somewhat pink. It sounded so strange to answer. She worshipped the Gods and Goddesses in the heavens and prayed for answers to many things. She more than enjoyed K'Anatak's company and more than enjoyed the company of the Gods. He was, however, the first God she had ever come across and so she couldn't quite answer the question to her own liking.
Somewhat mesmerised by the mere existance of the God before her, Kamaria fell silent. It was only when the male's mane fell before his eyes and he spoke again that she realised she hadn't spoken. "Oh! I apologise.." And though she had become more comfortable, she still offered a polite bow to the large male.
"You are the first God I have ever come across to be honest.. I have always seeked the Gods company as my mother has told me many stories.. I was never certain that they were real..." And with a smile, she proceeded to answer his other questions, "..I am indeed traveling.. to the territory of my mother before she passed. The mistweaver territory.."

K'Anatak had a soft smile upon him, she seemed so pre-occupied in her mind, perhaps it was just a first for her, which it was, she confirmed it in her saying he was the first immortal she had met thus far. "No need to apologize, its alright..." he said with a nod, his white mane falling in the view of his black eyes. Sometimes he wished he wasn't so fluffy...least his mane wasn't fluffy.
"You'll meet many more of us of course, my brother is out there...though..I don't wish to see him much, there is one of love, who I am searching for still, even a dark goddess as well, each are unique, though some, I have to say, are nicer then others," he said with a nod. Yes, some immortals, like his brother and the black goddess...weren't too friendly...not at all.
"The mistweavers, I can't recall that place, but it sounds nice."

Kamaria's eyes watched over the male as she spoke with him. She was so interested in him and had so many questions, but as he had thought, she was deep in thought. She felt as though her mother wished to guide her, but hadn't left her the proper directions. It was so difficult traveling alone. Perhaps, if she could find company. She looked towards the God and then laughed inwardly towards herself. Certainly a God amongst mortals had better things to occupy his time.
Hearing the advice from the God, the lioness nodded. She put that bit in the back of her mind, understanding that if a situation came up where she was to meet a cruel God, she could not take it personally. In her absolute interest of the Gods, however, she was worried she might not be able to see through them. Certainly the Gods were able to mask their true intentions and feelings. They were immortal and capable of so much.
"I thank you for your advice.. Is there anything you could tell me of your brother or the Black Goddess that might keep me from bumping into them?"

"My brother is a strange one, and if you encounter him in a time where he seems frustrated, I warn you to stay away, his temper is not just, though quick and judging, the black goddess I cannot say, she is one I doubt you would like to meet, unable to control herself, and quite powerful and dangerous, if any, find another with a better sense of mortals," K'Anatak said with a nod.
A slight yawn passed through him, he was growing tired already, so much moving was making it harder t stay awake.
"Is there anything else you wish to know before I move on dear?"

Kamaria was glad for the God's advice and nodded respectfully when he finished speaking. As he yawned, the female suddenly became aware that she had been keeping him from continuing whatever it was that he was to do that evening. With a bright blush to her cheeks, she took a few steps back and let out a nervous laugh, "I apologise! I did not mean to keep you.. If you must leave, then please don't let me keep you!"
She was surprised when the God offered her more words of wisdom before he left and she could not help but smile. Never would she have assumed that a God would take the time to stop and spend so much thought on her. Kamaria was more than pleased and could not keep the silly smile from her face, despite her sudden awareness that the other wished to now leave.

"Do not worry, its alright," he said trying to reassure her, he didn't want her to think that she was keeping him from a daunting task, he was just tired was all, he didn't mean anything by it at all, he hoped she knew that. Flicking his tail he outstretched her wings, waited to see if she had any other questions, though she did not, and he took that as an alright to leave.
Least he hoped it was.
"Perhaps our paths will cross again someday, until then, remember what I have said," he gave her a smile and then took to the skies in search of a place to rest for a while.
His mind was so tired. He wondered if hers was as well.
