So I just wanted to know what music you either use to "enhance your games" or what theme songs from games you love to listen too!

I love the Tetris Remix on stepmania (althought i hate the game) and I love to listen to Powerman 5000 and Manson while playing Halo

actualy I have a thing about games and music.

I absolutely can't listen to music and play a game at the same time, I must hear every annoying blip and repettitive character battle dialog or my rythum and timeing for games is thrown off horridly! I don't understand it! Dispite the fact I hate hearing "DOOOOOOOD!!!" shouted out repetitively by the prinnies I have to hear them or else something in my brain just dosn't click and I can't play. gonk

I have a big preference for RPGs and stealth games. In RPGs usually take a long time to complete and have looping soundtracks so I tend to turn the music off and listen to something that captures some sort of fantasy atmosphere (if it's a fantasy RPG which most are) like Jethro Tull, the first two Queen albums.
In stealth games I generally consider music a big no-no as it tends to get in the way of the ingame sounds that I use to determine whether enemies or guards are coming. So if there is ingame music I turn it off and I never listen to other music while playing stealth games.

I must be an oddball then cause I totally get into the games music. I'm like red_moon_wolfess, I have to hear everything even if it is annoying. The only one that I can't listen to is Shadow Temple from Ocarina of Time. It gives me the creeps. But I love the soundtracks. I buy game soundtracks like a crazy woman. At this moment I love the music you hear in Okami when you are in Ryoshima Coast. I turn the game on go to that area and set the controller down. Luckily I will be able to stop doing that once my copy of the soundtrack gets here.

The games I play usually have good soundtracks so I'm okay, though sometimes I play something else... 3nodding

I can do either. I generally like the music of the game, but I could easily turn on the radio or whatever. The only games I really have to hear the music for are Ragnarok Online and DDR.

For most of the RPGs I play I always listen to the game music that goes with it, but often times when I play a fighter game or something I play dance/electronic music. 3nodding

I love the music for the final fantasy games. Square always does a great job with their game music. My all time favorite game theme is "Time's Scar" also known as the Main Theme for Chrono Cross. It's so good and has this nice sort of Celticy sound to it.

Music helps me concentrate during games.( I guess I'm just weird like that)

The music from Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles is the best music for a game that I've ever heard.
