Looks:; Nessalyn is of a medium stature, standing at about five feet, five inches tall. She is
quite the fit woman, however, and is quite thin and lithe. The only things keeping her from being as swift as an arrow are her ample hips and bosom. She curses them almost daily, wishing she could be more like the men in her regiment. Not the prettiest woman in the world, she is nonetheless handsome, with deep burgandy hair to her waist, and emerald green eyes. The hair is usually hidden under a helmet or up in a bun, as Ness is an all-business woman.
Education:; Educated through high-school, and then entered the military. She was selected at an early age to attend the Military Rank Academy, and excelled there. The orderly, structured life suited her personality quite well, as Nessalyn is a no-nonsense type.
Vocation/occupation:; Commander of the starship

Status and money:; All of her personal expenses are covered by the Ystevarian government as long as she is in the military. Now that she is on Earth and on leave, she has to find a job. Oh boy.
Marital status:; Single, but no virgin.
Family:; Fourth female child of Clan Sharthavis, and at the moment, the most important. Her parents are Clan Leaders, and important in their local village but not much farther than that. Her three older brothers are in the Senate, and her two older sisters as well. Her directly younger sister is also in the military, but more as a camp-follwer type than anything remotely useful.
Diction, accent, etc:; As businesslike as her appearance, Nessalyn is hardly ever affectionate while in public. In private however, she is full of inflection, and it's usually easy to gauge her mood through her voice.

Recreation, hobbies:; Reading, playing bocci and squash, exercising, and yelling at her rookies.

Beliefs:; The government is the only absolute. Death and taxes. She currently believes that there is no magic, and Ianna is batshit insane.

Fears:; Being demoted, being forced to go back to her Clan Seat, having any of her convictions broken.
Attitudes:; Business entirely in public, and in front of her troops. In private, she's more emotional, and actually a warm person when you get to know her, which few can claim.
Character flaws:; Her obsession with being as high up as she can, and advancing herself. She is also unceasingly hardheaded, and it takes her forever to change her mind about something.
