I listen to Linkin Park (only a little), Godsmack, KoRn, Disturbed, Death Cab for Cutie, & Slipknot. Any other goth bands I should listen to?

EDIT: Thanks for the suggestions! Those are some good songs amd bands!

First note, just because I feel the need to point it out, none of those listed bands are goth-rock.

And that honestly depends on what you like to listen to. But finding Death Cab at random in your list, it would seem that you're not restricted to one kind of music.

If I were you, I'd search for things by genre of music. Find more of something you like instead of just single bands from them. Goth-rock, hardcore, metal, rap, emotive, things like that. Sure expanded my tastes quite a bit. wink

yeah, i really dont mean to point out the non-goth as it already has.

music just takes trial and error for most people. i personally spend hours downloading music and find maybe one or two bands are actually good. if you are looking for some suggestions i can go based on what you have listed and suggest some other bands you may like or want to hear:
linkin park: idiot pilot.
godsmack:youre on your own on that one, i dont listen to or support godsmack
korn:not sure what realy goes along with korn, personally i started listening to korn and tool and nin all at the same time.
disturbed:union underground, manson, lacuna coil, soulfly, a perfect circle, msi, drowning pool
death cab for cutie:postal service (duh), freezepop, imogen heap, thc, mira, collide
slipknot:mushroom head, mudvayne, static-x, stone sour

if you just want some goth stuff:
cradle of filth
dimmu borgir
mira
collide

I wasn't meaning that those were goth (Linkin Park FTW!) I meant that I want some goth music suggestions.

Well it might be a good idea to start slowly; don't buy any albums just yet.
Try listening to Bauhaus's "Bela Lugosi's Dead", Sisters of Mercy's "This Corrosion", Joy Division's "New Dawn Fades", The Cure's "One Hundred Years", or Sex Gang Children's "Arms of Cicero" on Youtube.

If you do like the style of music, try a couple of albums like:
*Closer (Joy Division)
*Unknown Pleasures (Joy Division)
*In The Flat Field (Bauhaus)
*Crackle: The Best of [Bauhaus]
*Pornography (The Cure)
* The Scream (Siouxsie and the Banshees)

Though that isn't the *ahem* "law-friendly" way to try it, I guess it's worth a shot.

Coming from a cyber/industrial goth, I wouldn't take these too seriously if you're just out for the general goth stuff, but you can always try:
The Cruxshadows
The Birthday Massacre
Apoptygma Berzerk
Dope Stars Inc.
VNV Nation
Neuroticfish
London After Midnight
servo.hatred
mind.in.a.box
Emilie Autumn
Anders Manga

Other bands I'd suggest are:
The Cure
The 69 Eyes(my favorite band)
My Sixth Shadow
Bauhaus
Alien Sex Fiend
Joy Division
Siouxsie and the Banshees
BLOOD(If you're into Nagoya kei-sounding bands.)
Demonika and the Darklings

Sex Gang Children, Zombina & The Skeletones (actually Deathrock, but oh well), The Birthday Party, Sisters Of Mercy, Echo & the Bunnymen, and The Creatures.

[.Suicidal.Tomatoes.] covered everything else I had. xd

EDIT: And sorry for the misunderstanding, by the way.

Here's what I would suggest. There's a mix of stuff, but it all has a "gothy" feel to it in my opinion.

Bauhaus heart
Siouxsie And The Banshees
Sisters of Mercy
Joy Division
The Misfits heart
Razed In Black heart
Zeromancer
Neon Synthensis
The Cure

Other bands I would suggest, just because they're great:

Pink Floyd
Smashing Pumpkins
Angelspit
Velvet Acid Christ
Lords of Acid
Clutch
Nevermore
Heaven Shall Burn
The Transplants

The 69 Eyes are alright. I like their music, but I feel that they try a little hard to look and act like The Misfits. I'd still suggest them though.

Deadside Dreams
