To explain the love of Miles...
First he is the rival and sterotyped as the "bad boy". And alot of females dig that whole bad boy thing. Along with this comes his utter confidence in his abilities. He is so confident in his power, that another reason.
Second we have his troubling past, with his father and him as a child. I know i love a man with a twisted and troubling past. You learn so much about how he is.
Third, eventually we get to his softer side, and oh-how he hates his softer side. And that's cute.
Anyway hopefully i've enlighted you. whee
