Erae nodded, walking to Naraka and taking a deep breath.
"... what are vampires really like?" He asked, eyes wide with curiosity. He looked at Acia, and really wondered. She really liked him, but Kanth was wary of him, but that wasn't the main reason.
It was probably all those vampire movies he watched when Kanth was on a movie spree, watching whatever at anytime. He got the tv when she was done, and he did a little channel surving, and the mood he got was that ... everyone was supposed to be afraid of vampires. Weren't they?

*Nar marches down the street, towards the bus stop. Getting to the coast should be no trouble, but getting onto the island, itslef, might prove to be tricky. In fact, the whole thing may very well be quarantined off, the ferry on hold. If that's the case, he may have to resort to swimming. If only he could fly anymore*
I'm going to assume that question was for me, Erae. Vampires are just like any other person, only they drink blood and tend to be a little on the neurotic side. The older we get, the wierder we get. *after a pause and a humorless chuckle, he says,* I don't really know what you're asking.

Acia had decided this conversation really didn't concern her, and had settle down to watch, seated comfortably on Nar's shoulder. She was feeling much better now that help was on it's way, but couldn't help but worry. And what had caused that explosion? The reason for it was clear enough... They wanted to get rid of the zombies. But what about all the other people?! There were a lot of people there who weren't zombies, and because of that bomb, they were all-- HOLY CRAP, IT WAS A BOMB.
The glider's mouth dropped open in shock. It was a.... but.... BOMB!?! She had been making a bomb! But hers was for science, and it hadn't worked right anyway, but all the SAME! She could have blown everyone up! People blew other people up with bombs!! ....Acia felt like she was going to be sick.

Erae kept silent, though spoke up after a moment. "You mean, you aren't like those vampires in the movies? You don't kill people just for sport?" He hung his head to hide the sly smile running across his fault. It wasn't his fault that he happened to run across Interview with a Vampire in the mansion's library, and questioned some of the vampires in there.
Glancing up, he noticed the bus stop and stared at it curiously. Was Gambino's mansion really that far away? When he came here, it didn't seem that far off, really...

*he grimaces with disgust, afronted* Do I really seem like the kind of person who kills for sport? Nobody around the shop's turned up dead, have they? I should like to say that I'm hardly the type to kill anything for fun, let alone other human beings. *it's not long until a bus arrives. Nar sneaks the two little ones in and has a seat. Acia's clearly worn out, and Erae may be tough, but he's small. They're best off conserving energy. But his real intention of taking public transport was to listen. He keeps his ears perked to the chatter on the bus. Indeed, there's little else talked about besides zombies and the unfortunate explosion. With luck, there'll be some news of use to them.*

To get her mind off the bomb, Acia focused on the bus stop, staring curiously at it while they waited. Did they really need to take a bus? Surely Gambino's wasn't that far away, or it would have taken her ages to get back. But...well, it had taken her a while....plus she was 'flying' at high speeds, certainly much faster than she could walk or run. Plus, she'd flown over water... They couldn't walk over water, and Acia couldn't carry them all with her winds. Maybe Nar could fly..? but they'd be flying right now then, wouldn't they?
Erg, she was confused. Oh well, it didn't matter how they got there as long as they got there soon! She remained silent once on the bus, seated once again on Nar's lap to stay out of sight of the driver. She wasn't entirely sure they should be on here. As much as she wanted to ignore the talk, Acia listened as well, glancing from person to person whenever she heard the word 'zombie' or 'explosion'. Apparently there had been an announcement... So Gambino had survived? Well, there was someone else! So that was more hope! Acia didn't bother to note that the news also said no other survivers were found.

Getting out a journal (from who knows where), Erae started writing in it after he sat in the seat, bending his knees so that the journal sat upright.
So that he would be the only one seeing it.
He wrote slowly, and listened, as Naraka did, but mostly concentrated on writing. Everything was crazy - just about everyone was talking about the zombies.

*Zombies attacking.. Explosions. Little of the information is very specific. But he does pay closer attention in reguards to the island. It seems people are still being admitted on and off, but that an area around the mansion's been roped off by the police and who knows who else. There's talk of FBI, CIA, National Guard, MIB, and a number of other silly remarks. Rumors are spreading like crazy. If only he knew what really happened. Still, he knows more when he gets off than when he got on. Heading to the docks, he awaits a ride across the water to ground zero.*

Acia had moved back to Naraka's shoulder once they reached their stop, sitting with her fet hanging over his chest, hands at her sides for support. Her gaze moved out across the water to the docks, focusing on the island in the distance. True, the island itself really couldn't seen, especially as it was night, but the lights could easily be seen across the waves, more than normal due to the rescue operations.
The ferry reached them within the next few minutes, and they were on their way to the island. Another crowd accompanied them, though this one seemed slightly more informed--only slightly. Though once again, Acia wasn't paying attention. Her eyes finally left the water, and she glanced down to Erae, remined of the bus ride. "What were you writing?" Right, so that could be considered rude. But she was just curious.

(If you guys want to continue to the cave without me, just have Erae on autofollow. heart I'll reply in good time.)
Closing his book quickly, Erae hopped off of the bus after them, staying dead silent as he stared off at the water.
And then Acia spoke.
"What were you writing?"
"Nothing." He spoke in a soft voice, dismissing the question as he turned away, his red eyes growing dark in the shadows. What exactly was Naraka looking for..?

(( well... akay. I dun think you'll miss out on much. ))
*Naraka leans on the railing of the ferry, alone in the cold, aside from his two companions. Everyone else's taken indoors from the cool and wet. The longer they take, the less of a chance either Moo or Kanth might have. Damn, this ferry moves slowly. *
*it seems ages until they touch on the further dock, and he steps out onto the island. Nobody will be allowed near the wreckage, but they can sneak. With his umbral power, and their small size, however, they might be able to escape detection for some amount of time.* This is where you guys come in. Acia, do you not sense Moo at all?

((Ootay..... T___T We miss yew, Kanth))
As they left the ferry, Acia climbed to her feet, balancing precariously on Naraka's shoulder. She didn't immediately answer, glancing silently around from their currently position, surveying both island and ocean. After another, slightly quicker glance, she hesitantly lifts a paw and points out in the general direction of Gambino's, though slightly to the left. "She's....somewhere that way, I think. I couldn't say 'zactly..."
Falling silent, she hesitates slightly, then lowers her paw back to her side, sighing. "S'very faint... If...if that's even her..." Acia wasn't entirely certain it was. The connection was never extremely pronounced. It was just there if they'd needed it. Always reassuring, but otherwise ignored. And now..it was just gone. Empty. Or faint. There was something vaguely there...but not enough to really call the connection. She just hoped it was right.

(( crap crap crap crap. Eaten >:C ))
*He sighs and gazes out across the island. It's more active than it ought to be this time of night, and brighter as well. He breathes in the air, fouled with dust and the stink of carnage, and snorts, heading off in the direction indicated by Acia. At this point, it doesn't look very good. And they have little to go off of* Tell me if you get a stronger feeling, Acia. And if I start heading offtrack. We might have to avoid some people.

((v.v Gaia is such poop....
Eck, sorry it's taking so long, Nar... I have a terrible headache and can't think straight e__e))
The stench in the air was bothering Acia just as much, if not moreso. Without really thinking about it, the glider conjured up a light breeze, just enough to keep the air circulating from above where it was clearer. She merely nodded in reply to Naraka's comment, gaze locked in the direction she had pointed. The further they went, the more sure she was of their direction. Not that the connection was really growing, it was just...more solid? Eh, she wasn't quite sure how to describe it. But this was the right way. "We're getting closer, I think."

(( that's quite alright. If your head hurts too much, you should go lie down or something x.x ))
*Naraka instinctually keeps to the shadows, avoiding all who pass by, reguardless of their appearance. As soon as the coast is clear, he mutters* Are we? That's good. It's good that you have some idea, otherwise it'd be like finding a needle in a haystack. *he slinks on, nearing the rubble*
