Filling out the ecosystem here in the garden are the wetlands, full of amphibious life and other creatures.
There is light fog and mist that rolls along the ground just stretching out.
The mist creates prisms of color in various areas.
There is a small waterfall which empties into a large pond with a variety of fish. A smaller pond is filled with koi.
There are large lily pads strong enough to support picnickers and those that are strong enough for the occasional lounger. These can be reached by various stepping stones. But be careful that you don't slip. These lily pads are a bit of a ways away from the waterfall which is good as some people like to play in that area closer by it.
Vines creep along the ground and wild berries grow in abundance.
Deer and other docile creatures can be found here nibbling on patches of clover and such.
There are large moss-covered boulders that can be climbed and a small stream of freshwater to drink from, as well as a walking path and a biking path. There are areas of mud and clay to play in too!
Notice! If you are going to bring your animals here please make sure to pick up a pooper scooper as there is a fine for leaving feces about for people to step in.
All poop not belonging to the animals of owners is cleaned up regularly.

Wow. I suppose this is the dead area of the guild.
Well, besides the brig that is. But I don't think we want the brig to be active. sweatdrop

((the wetlands sound like a fantastic place to stay at, Umikotheblueelf ^^ nice and relaxing smile ))
His eyes were fixated on one of the somewhat older-looking deers as it nibbled on a bit of grass. he didn't realise it completely, but it had made him smile. He had stood still for a few seconds before he stepped forwards towards the small pond with the kois.
When he got there, the man took a seat against one of the larger rocks near the pond and let out a soft sigh of relief. this was just what he had needed, peace.
The royal blue colored book, which he had been holding under his arm the whole time found its way onto his lap just before he opened it, revealing some drawings and some scribblings that seemed to be little texts. His hand dug deep into his pocket, grabbing a bright red colored pencil and he began, once again, to draw lines onto a blanc sheeth of paper.

And then, if it's nightime there are special features. Actually. I think I'll have something going for Single's Awareness/Valentine's Day too heart Uwee hee hee *giggles uncontrollably*

These are what wetlands are: The wetlands, a stinking river of decomposing earth as far as the eye can see. The sun beats down on your shoulders as you trudge through. The black mud swallows your feet every step of the way. Be careful, or you might upset a crocodile. There's little life above the water besides insects. There are thousands of insects though, mosquitoes the size of your fist, feeding off your blood constantly. The slimy trees are filled with snakes, and surrounded by toads. Large crocodiles blend in perfectly with their terrain. Large sharp rocks rip out of the earth in some patches, allowing some kind of refuge from the crocks, but not from snakes. Vines leach out of the water and cover the rocks. In this feeding ground, a snake is invisible until it's too late. There are deer that live in the hills around the wetlands. They come down for water, and mostly make it home alive.
Cross the wetlands with extreme caution. Parties get separated here very easily, and when the late-night fog roles in, you'd better find a safe hole to hide in until morning.

That's not the kind of wetlands I meant. I meant "wet" in the figurative form. "Wet" as in a water themed haven of sorts.
