Quick to leave the location he had met the mysterious bandaged Audio, Demyx rematerialized in the halls of the castle. Shaking off the chill the method of transport brought, the young sitarist quickly ran the halls of the castle. The fallen report was safely tucked away in his robe. He'd do something with it eventually, but right now he wanted answered. The words of the other had been so...confusing. If anyone would be able to help, Saix should be able to set things straight.

Panting, Demyx burst through the large doorway to the throne room and looked around, hoping their new Superior was there. Nevermind being polite and knocking before entering, this was -important-.

Saix seemed half asleep in his chair as Demyx burst through the giant doors. Busy as he was with planning, Saix hadn't honestly gotten any sleep at all for quite some time. A loud agervated growl came from him, not even bothering to open his eyes, "Who is it?!"

Despite how scary the growl was, Demyx's search for answers drove him on.

"It's m-me Saix...just Demyx..."

Shutting the door behind him, the angelic spread his wings and flew up to his own chair. It was close enough to Saix to talk, but far enough away to keep him out of striking range. It should be enough to keep him safe.

"C-can we talk?"

Oh goody. He really needed more to worry about. By the sound of Demyx's voice made it prominant that something big had happened, and now he was going to have to fix it.

"Fine fine...what is it?"

"D-do you remember an Audio with like...red and black bandages on their face?"

Demyx would leave it at that for now, seeing if Saix could answer that before moving on to the big news. Besides, the blonde was still rather curious as to who that Audio had been.

Saix's eyes shot open immediately. "The old man is here..." He spoke aggressively and adjusted so he could stare at Demyx. Now this was interesting. "Do you have any idea how untrustworthy that person is?"

"N-no..."

Ears flat, Demyx shifted uncomfortably in his chair. The guy hadn't seemed so bad, after he grew serious at least.

"Is...is it someone you remember Saix? C-cause I don't..."
PostPosted: Wed Jan 24, 2007 11:43 pm

"I don't remember much, but I do remember that he was the cause of this. If it wasn't for him we would be whole...and not just nobodies." Saix lowered his brow. "...you met him recently didn't you?"

"...he m-made us what w-we are? Really?"

The young one gave a sad whine, still fidgeting around.

"I d-did...he um...he left this..."

Fiddling with his coat a moment, Demyx pulled out the report and held it out for Saix to see.

Saix snagged the report from Demyx.

Quote:
Secret Ansem Report 2

I have made a grave mistake.

My study of the “darkness of the heart” began with a simple psychological test and quickly snowballed.

Spurred on by my youngest apprentice Ienzo, I constructed a massive laboratory in the basement of my castle.

Unbeknownst to me, my six apprentices then began collecting a large number of subjects on which to perform dangerous experiments into the “darkness of the heart.”

As soon as I found out, I called my apprentices together and ordered them not only to cease their studies, but to destroy the results of their research thus far.

What on earth was happening within the hearts of my six beloved apprentices? While pursuing the mystery of the darkness of the heart, could they themselves have strayed into its depths?

Yet I remain the most foolish of all, for having begun these experiments.

We are not meant to interfere in the depths of another's heart, no matter what our reasons for doing so…

And my error plunged me into despair.

A visitor from another world soothed my dejected soul.

A tiny king named Mickey came wielding a legendary key—the infamous “Keyblade,” said to bring both chaos and prosperity to the world.

He was very knowledgeable on many topics, and we deepened our friendship as we conversed companionably.

Upon his advice, I decided to review the data obtained at my basement lab.

That is when I discovered the “Ansem Reports.”

Though they bore my name, the only one I had written was number 0.

Apparently he had gone on to pen numbers 1 through 8 himself.

Yes—the first subject in my foolish experiments.

"That fool..." Saix mumbled to himself. "Demyx it'd be wise to avoid this person. He was the old Superior's other...his...somebody if you will. In name only though, dear Demyx, our Superior has had many prior names. But this one...he started it all. His ideas, his ideals, his mind brought life to our superior in the form of Xehanort. He is not to be trusted no matter what."

He now became curious. "Tell me everything he said, everything that happened. Leave nothing out."

Despite the explanation, Demyx was just looking more and more confused. Trying his very best to follow along with Saix, Demyx nodded. At the very least it would show he was listening.

"I'm sorry S-saix..I'm just confused..."

Ears flat, the sitarist eyed Saix, simply hoping that the diviner didn't grow impatient with him and strike him with his claymore or something. Trying his best to shake off the fear, Demyx continued on.

"I...was just in town, r-relaxing for a bit. And I saw him, and just...wanted to talk to him. Like I had this feeling I k-knew him, but didn't remember h-how...."

Demyx fidgeted, trying to settle comfortably into his chair.

"At f-first it was weird, cause he was like...I dunno...it was almost like he was acting like L-luxord..and that's just kinda weird, ya know? But I asked him if he knew anything about r-reports...and he grew all serious on me. And...he told me that no one ever loses a heart...it just gets lost in darkness....is that true Saix?"

Somewhat hopeful green eyes turned towards the new Superior, though deep down Demyx knew this just couldn't be the case. His heart was long gone, it had to be.

"That man is as stupid as he is brilliant Demyx. It's a lie. That may be how he sees it, but he has never felt like us, he has never directly created one of us. How would he know? All he knows is research!" Saix growled, growing impatiant, not with Demyx, but with DiZ. "Do you have any idea who that person really was? Ansem the Wise, or formerly wise as I see it. Our Superior's real somebody was once his assistant...and because of the old man's research we were made, we who have no heart to ourselfs. It is, was, and shall always be that old man's fault that we feel such emptiness."

He got back into a more comfortable position and closed his eyes again. "Demyx come closer...there's something very important we need to discuss."

"So...Xemnas' somebody worked for the bandage guy?"

Demyx had never questioned how the Organization came to be in the first place, so learning such things was rather new for him. But, Saix quickly gave him something else to think about. Why the heck did the diviner want him to come closer? Ears flat, Demyx slowly rose from his own chair. Now...Saix could either want to talk, as said, or maybe he just wanted him to come closer, so he could hit him. So, with a bit of a whimper, the angelic spread his wings and flew over to Saix's chair. Once there he took a seat on the armrest, wings facing outwards so they wouldn't get in Saix's way. Though the demonic would have to deal with Demyx's boots in his chair.

"Y-y-yes S-saix?"

The youth was flinching, expecting an attack at any moment.

Saix handed Demyx the report back. "Bring this to your group for analysis, no slacking off."

There was now a long pause as Saix's facial expression changed dramatically. "And something more pressing of matters has arrisen. I'm sure you've been feeling a little...weirder than normal. I think I may have found the answer as to why this is happening. But if I tell you, you must not freak out."

"Yes sir..."

Demyx nodded, quickly taking the report and tucking it safely away in his robes. As Saix's mood seemed to shift, the sitarist looked back up to see what was wrong.

"S-saix?"

He was rather worried. It wasn't too often Saix looked like this, and it wasn't too often the diviner came to him with important news. Times before included the reformation of the Organization, and...well his death. So to think that some more important news had come along was pretty stressful to the young one.

"I..I'll t-try not to. What's wrong?"
