White dotted black paws traipsed over the ground, barely leaving a mark where they landed. The lithe cheetah's form was so small compared to the forms of those around him. Somehow he'd managed to land himself in the middle of what appeared to him as a bunch of trees but was really a herd of Elephants. Not really wishing to get stepped on, after he got smacked in the muzzle by a tail and finally figured it out for himself, Korou was slowly attempting to extricate himself from the group of behemoths.
When he finally managed to get to the edge of the herd, the small cheetah glanced up with blind eyes, sniffing the air despite being unable to see anything. His nose told him all he needed to know, so he trotted forward a ways, not worrying about it. It had been quite a while since Korou had been alone like this, quite a while since he'd travled away from Chopi or his family in general.
Maybe it was because Amai was now gone, maybe it was that Jumanji was so strange. Either way, Korou had taken to his old wandering ways for a bit, needing to get somewhere that he would be able to learn how to deal with his newly formed blindness all on his own. Despite his love of his family, Korou knew that it wouldn't happen as long as he was with them, they'd always treat him like half a cheetah and the thought alone irked him behind all comprehension. ninja

Mufasa looked back lightly and trotted on with his white colored paws. Sure, he was about to meet the leader of the pride he might be joining, but Uovu was sleeping, and he wasn't told not to leave for a while.
In fact, if he was, he wouldn't listen anyways. He was never around rules, so he never followed rules others told him. He wasn't really brought up that well, but he was still polite. Well, he thought he was polite to say the least.
The cub sat down a rubbed one of his ears in a cat like manner. One of his eyes was still open, to say the least.
While he was rubbing dust out of his ears he spotted a cat. He figured it wasn't a lion. It was too lean. He stood up one again, forgetting about the dust in his ear and started toward the cheetah, not knowing waht he was, he was bent of conversation.

Lifting his tail and wagging it a little as he trotted, Korou stopped for a moment to sniff, letting the pattern of the world around him slide into his nose and paint a dotted picture of lights there. It was something he'd been teaching himself to do, since the cheetah didn't want to end up relying on his ears the entire time after all.
Something caught in his nostrils however, making Korou lift his ears and turn his head in the direction of the small creature. There was a difference between being able to smell things and being able to sense things, he could smell it and he could barely feel it against his spotted fur. It was a test he had going, the heat from a creatures body was able to be projected fairly far, so there was the possiblity of being able to feel it on one's own fur if they concentrated hard enough on it.
"Hello?" Korou called out gently on the wind, his soft voice dancing on the light wind. ninja

"Hello!" the cub answered after he got a bit closer. His head tilted to one side a bit.
He didn't want to say anything rude so he stayed quiet to think of something to say.
Sure, he wasn't raised with rules, but he followed his own code. Being polite in a sense was one of them. He say no reason to be rude to anyone. Not yet anyways.
Mufasa was reletivly shorter then the cheetah, but then, he didn't mind. Being small was better, he thought.
"Who're you?" He asked, hoping he didn't sound too rude.

Swishing his tail behind him before letting it progress to a full on wag, Korou smiled at the cub before him. He could tell that it was very small but he couldn't tell just quite what it was, lion, cheetah or what. But he did know that it was a cat.
"Well then, it's nice to meet you, I'm Korou. What's your name little guy?" Korou's deep voice asked gently, he didn't mind being asked by a little one who he was, he loved his own cubs after all and this one reminded him of both of his daughters. Though this cub was slightly larger than either of them. Maybe it was a lion? ninja

"Pleased to meet you, Korou!" He said, letting himself roll onto his back in a sort of comical way.
"My name's Mufasa," he paused for a second. "D'you know any good games?"
He asked everyone that question, adult or not. He was curious. "I only know the game tag. Have you ever played it?"
He batted lightly at the white tuff of his tail to amuse himself a bit.

"Mufasa... well that sounds like quite the good name right there." Korou said with a wink of his blind blue eye. "I'm not generally the one that's good with names either, that's my mate Chopi."
Sniffing slightly as the cub asked him if he knew what tag was, Korou let a grin slip over his muzzle and nodded.
"of course I know what it is, it's only the greatest game that was ever invented."
A small paw reached out and tapped the end of Mufasa's nose, a miracle that it had managed to land where Korou wanted though he had to assume that he was getting a little better at juding distance and place despite being blind.
"Tag!" ninja

"Thank you," Mufasa said politely to the older cat. He still hadn't noticed that the tri-colored cat was blind. He was just too naive.
He rolled back up to a sitting position after Korou started to speak again, only to get tagged on the nose. He laughed lightly. "Hey, that wasn't fair," he said, moving to pounce the elder cat and to get him back.
"I'll get you," he stated with laughter on his voice.

Grinning wryly at the little cub, Korou felt the heat from his body and dodged to one side just as he pounced, his tail staying behind to give Mufasa something to catch. He wasn't mean, he just liked to play as well.
"Try as hard as you can little one, you can't catch me." Korou winked one of his blind eyes and wagged his tail around for the cub to follow.
He still remembered how it was to be a cub, still remembered all the fun he used to have when he was one, now he was an adult and had yet to let go of it. Cub until the day he died. ninja

Mufasa's tail flicked. "I will catch you," he said going for Korou's tail. He laughed happily. Another adult that knew how to have fun. Mufasa grinned.

"You can TRY." Korou was all but laughing himself, it was fun to play with cubs, to remind himself of that he was really a father.
It had been a long time since he played with either of his. Flicking his tail out so it tickled the end of what he figured was Mufasa's nose, the lithe cheetah hopped back up in the air and landed on his forepaws, his tail wagging behind him as he sniffed to see.

Korou's tail actually brushed the dark-faced lion's nose, making him sneeze. Mufasa gave a laugh and swiped at the tailed without extending his claws.
Mufasa hadn't played tag too often, being around adults that didn't play or alone all the time. It was hardening him, being alone all the time, but playing now loosened his spirit a bit. He needed to just be the cub he was ment to be, with no worries.
He dashed after the lither cat before him. He'd catch he; he would!
