Amadeus waited patiently outside the temple, on the sloping desert hills beneath a blooming healthy tree, sticking to the shade as he stared regally out at the long stretch of desert before him. a small distracted smile fluffing the corner of his lips.
he had planned to meet Elina here after his morning patrol. though he showed up a bit early, having been far to eager to see her.

Gustave was just a little less than exauhsted, both mentally and physically. He had spent the entire night thinking of things that were to come, while pacing in the soothing fog. Midori was pregnant, and with his pups! A short while ago, he would have never seen himself as a father, much less the mate of a drop dead gorgeous maluess. He had hardley noticed the sun rise in the garden, so deep in his mind, and had only just left it's gentle fountains and aromatic flowers. Sleep was on the mind as he padded slowly out into the brilliant sunlight, blinking his eyes at the intensity. Instead of walking down the path to his pack, he moved to the sheltering shade of a column and let his body sink gentley to the ground with a heavy sigh. He was a daddy.
As the word rolled about in his fatigued, he spotted the other new father strolling his merry way about the steps. Despite his sleepiness, he was rather pleased to see the antlered male, and was quick to call out to him for a lively conversation. Midori should be around soon, and perhaps the trio could enjoy eachothers company and excitement. "G'morning, Amadeus!"

Since the pains in her stomach had begun a short while ago, Elina had refused to leave the comforts of the nest her and Amadeus had made their own. Yet now, as her once slender tummy began to swell with the trio of pups growing inside, it was clearly obvious she was pregnant. Intaking a deep breath of crisp air, it was wonderful to be outside once more as she walked along the path outside the temple. She knew Amadeus must have been out here as he was still diligent about keeping patrol of the temple; which was why she loved him.
Slowly approaching the tree, she smiled in a relaxed and pleasant mannor; spotting another with her mate. Upon reaching the pair, she dipped her head slightly to the male before nuzzing her head against Amadeus' shoulder. "Hello Amadues. Greetings sir." She cast a smile to the other's direction.

The gentle swelling of her stomach had been a gradual but welcomed process. It was accented by varying levels of excitement, but mostly delicious enthusiasm as she felt the life growing within her womb. It was a touching experience, one that her secretive nature could barely find the words to describe to a mate who already understood. For the most part, the maluess with quiet in her glowing, growing maternal nature. A few times she thought she spied Starbuck from afar, and hoped the pup still looked forward to the birth as well.
Inhaling deeply, the green pelt heaved as she lifted herself to her feet in the low den beneath the flowering brush. Gustave was no where to be seen, but it didn't take long for her paws to take her to him, her hooves clipping quietly against the ground. When she spotted him with another male and female that she recognized, her scarlet eyes glittered as she approached. Smiling softly, she touched her nose to Gustave's chin before nodding a greeting to the other two. "Hullo." Her quiet nature was hardly shy, but nor was it intimidating. Just a wonderful balance between the two, like a glowing matron.

Turning his Antlered head as he heard his name called, he smiled politely, seeing a familiar face.
"ah, Gustave. good morning" he said in a rich deepened voice
turning his body to face the Malu, and walked out to meet the Malu as he approached.
he had heard on patrol about the other new family, though he rarely talked to them, he knew his fare share of what was going on around the temple.
"how is your mate doing?" he asked politly.
one ear swivels around as a familiar voice sounded close to him.
glancing to the side, seeing his Pregnant Mate Elina, staying tall he smiled warmly at her, before turning back to Gustave, waiting for the two to finish greeting one another

The winged male placed a tender lick on his mate's forehead before looking over to the other couple with a warm grin that could only be the product of love. The last month or so had been one of new things for him, and one of things he hadn't thought would happen for a long while. There was a worry deep inside him that he would not be a good father, but with Midori at his side, he was sure the pups would be raised right. She would be an excellent mother, he was certain, no matter the circumstances. He'd just have to learn from her. Giving a polite nod to Amadaeus's mate, he offered greetings to her and his own. "G'morning, Miss Elina. Nice to meet you. How have the both of you been?" His head turned a bit to the green maluess beside him. "How has your morning been, love? Not too bad, I hope." He nuzzled her again. Since she had been growing in size, Gustave had developed a slight worry for her health, what with all the morning sickness and the fatigue. He had been trying his best to satisfy her cravings and be there for her if she was having a particularly hard morning, but it was still not pleseant to watch the one he loved go through this. At least there was a shining light at the end of the tunnel, he mused with an absent smirk.

Pleasantly listening to the three of them converse, Elina was only partially paying attention. Instead, her eyes were on Midori and her own engorged tummy and her pelt matched it well in the sense that it looked completely natural for her to be bearing pups. Did she look natural? It didn't matter really for wether she looked the roll or not she was pregnant with more than a single pup - it seemed Midori was the same. Snapping her eyes back up to the other couple as her name was slipped from the Gustave's lips, she placed on a pleasant smile. "Its a pleasure to meet you as well..." She directed towards Midori, still not having the pleasure to know her name.
"Its a pleasure, Gustave. I have been well, asides from the unpleasant moments of this pregnancy, yet they have been few and minor." A small chuckle escaped afterwards.
Looking to Amadeus, she sighed in content to be back at his side as she sat directly beside him slightly leanding into his body. At times she found it hard to sit straight up as it was awkward with her protruding stomach. "Is this alright, or am I leading too hard?" She spoke quietly to her mate, seeing as the other pair were busy speaking to one another as well.

The maluess nodded her head at the female, positive she had seen her romping around the temple some time ago when she was still a pup. Oh, now that was a thought to make her feel old. Allowing a small, secretive but gentle smile, she inclined her head briefly to the other maluess. "My name is Midori. It's a pleasure." She blinked at the lick from Gustave, somewhat surprised before the soft smile returned and she allowed herself to lean against him gently. The trek from the den had been rather slow going and she found her limbs weary from carrying the extra weight. It couldn't be much longer now before the pups were read.
Looking up at her mate, her smile broadened, "Not bad at all, just tiring. Hopefully it will be soon." She returned the nuzzle before allowing her red eyes to glance back at their companions. It wasn't often that she was around Malu she didn't know well, though she didn't know many besides her mate and Gustave, after all.
