I know that he has mademore than one series. But I've only read the Xanth. When I looked at the others they didn't look very interesting. And I've read that they are more serius. Are they good?

I think my friend read a book from that series. Is the first one Split Infinity? I may read it if I ever finish my Xanth collection. I have 13 of that series. Not even in order.

No, actually if I remember correctly Split Infinity is from the Adepts series. The Incarnations of Immortality is just as good as the Xanth series, although naturally it's more serious seing as how the Xanth series is pretty much one big pun. (that's why we love it.) The Incarnations series has to do with forces of the universe, personified. Death, Time, Nature, Fate, War, Good, and Evil. Start with "On a Pale Horse" and you will probably be hooked. Personally I love the Incarnations series. The Adepts series is one of the few books that is both sci-fi and fantasy all rolled into one, and done quite masterfully. I'd suggest reading both. He also has another series, the Mode series. It's a little odd, but definitely worth reading. If I'm not mistaken, the Mode series is more sci-fi, and has to do with dimensional troubles. It's pretty good.
I noticed your name is D. Metria. Clever. It would be even better if you have a twin sister whose name is D. Mentia. smile

And I was going to make my character Mentia but I like Metria better. I had just finished Yon Ill Wind and I wonder if Demon Ted will live up to his name.

Here's a list of the books in the Incarnations of Immortality series.
1. On A Pale Horse (Death) 2. Bearing An Hourglass (Time) 3. With A Tangled Skein (Fate) 4. Weilding A Red Sword (War) 5. Being A Green Mother (Gaia) 6. For Love Of Evil (Satan) 7. And Eternity (God)
I have all of these except for #3, which I'm having a hard time finding. The Adepts series and the Mode series are pretty good too, like Azrael Fourth Said. He has another series but I'm not sure what the name of it is. He wrote it with Robert E. Margroff, one of the books in that series is Serpent's Silver.

Serpent's Silver 3. Chimaer's Copper 4. Orc's Opal 5. Mouvar's Magic. This too is a good series. Piers has written several, for a full listing look him up at www.wikipedia.org. A really good (if somewhat simple) book that he finished for Robert Kornwise is called "Through the Ice" which is also very good. Of course then there are the "Tarot" series and the "Bio of a Space Tyrant" series, of which I have only read one book of each, but liked both.

Piers Anthony is one of the writers I would rank with "GOD" I just finished reading Tathum Mound...it was different from his other books, but still really good.
