UPDATE:
Hello everyone! As each passing day goes, more news comes in from Japan that there WILL BE an Eureka Seven movie.
It has not yet even been released in Japan and it's still only rumor talk. However, the way they ended the series has led fans to EXPECT a movie.
Recently Eureka Seven recieved numerous awards at the TOKYO convention and other conventions.
We here at the Eureka Seven Forums have spent hours into researching rumors and any information regarding the possible movie. We have put together a FAQ page below for your conveniance.
Q. What?? There's A Movie???
A. Yes, and No. There has been no Official announcement of an Eureka Seven movie, however, there are tons of rumors all over the internet, and the one thing they hold common is that there WILL BE a movie based off of the show.
Q. Hmm, that's interesting, I heard that the show was originally slated for 51 episodes but that they only made 50, is this true and is it significant?
A. Yes, that is another rumor floating arround on the internet at the moment, and yes, it would be significant. However, that rumor has not been yet verified, but it is likely that it is true, sicne Fullmetal Alchemist was originally slated for 52 episodes and they only made 51 and then made a movie. On a website, a user who goes by the name UVERworld posted the following.....
"Well I don’t think this episode was meant to be the real ending to the series, Eureka seveN was slated for 51 episodes but rumor has it that Bandai decided to make an OVA or a movie instead. We know that they aired episode 51 “New Order” in the Sony Anime Music Festival but since then nothing has come of it, but if the cover of the 12th DVD volume is any indaction Eureka seveN may not be done yet.
Q. Wait, they made an Episode 51 at a musical festival!!!??? What was it about and is their a translation??? Is it a preview of the movie????
A. Yes, a group made what has been dubbed Episode 51. It was a Live performance done at the Sony Anime Music Festival during the first week of June 2006 and was located in Tokyo and Osaka Japan. Unfortunatly, the original video can't be found. All that is currently known to exist is the audio and that can be found on www.youtube.com. The problem with the audio version is that it is played with a fan made video in the background and the translation was done by fans and is only partialy finished. Also, apparently there is alot of audio that was edited out of the fansub versions of the festival show, which means there is more that were not hearing about.
We also have learned of a rumor that says that the video was an Alternate Ending for the show where supposedly Eureka and Renton are forced to never see eachother again. Many fans dissagree that this is true.

Q. Would Bandai Ever Release The Possible Film On "Pay Per View"?
A. Well, there was one rumor that said that on September 1st, 2006, in Japan, the Eureka Seven Movie would be available on Pay Per View. Now, as far as I have gathered, this rumor was not true and has no truth to it whatsoever.
Q. Is Studio Bones and Bandai Just Waiting For The American Viewers To Finish The Show Before They Make The Movie?
A. That is one of the biggest idea's floating arround, and it makes sence. Because american viewers have yet to see the whole series, Bandai maybe waiting to start making the film or announcing it until the series ends in America.
Q. What Has Bandai Said About A Movie?
A. One person asked Bandai about the movie in September of 2006 and got the following reply: "Thank you for the inquiry. Unfortunately, we have no plans or announcements on Eureka Seven movie at this time.." This is neither a NO nor a YES.
Q. Has Anyone From Inside Bandai Said Anything Secretly About The Movie?
A. Well, it's open to debate but the following message was posted by a user named Dylan in a disucssion on the Eureka Seven Movie, on September 18, 2006.....
"My cousins friend works for bandia and yes to all you people waiting, there is going to be a movie and they said it will be close to 4-5 hours long and it’s gonna be like 2007 i think, unless they work fast."

He also said that part of the original Episode 51 would be in the begining of the movie but the rest would be a new script. This all cannot be verified, but it must be presented for the purposes of debate.
On January 5, 2007 I was able to get in contact with Dylan over AIM. I saved the interview and he has given permission to release it on this forum.

Q. Interesting, I heard Also That The Last DVD Has An Extra 20 Minutes On It and That It Could Possibly Be The Infamous Episode 51, Is That True?
A. Yes, there is a rumor that the last DVD has another episode on it, an Episode 51 if you want to call it that. However, all the rumors say that the new episode had nothing to do with the end of the show and was a side episode for fun, one person called it "Operation Ray=Out". We can't confirm this unless someone in Japan can check the last DVD case and see if there really is an extra 20 minutes.
Q. I Heard A Rumor That Studio Bones Said In An Interview That They WON'T Make A Movie, Is This True?
A. It's true that there is a rumor, but it has so far not been verified. A user on a website that goes by Touji-za-nai posted the following and claims that it is what Studio Bones replied in an interview when asked if their would be an Eureka Seven Movie......
“We do not nore will ever have intentions of making an Eureka Seven Movie. Honestly we feel that there should have been more episodes and that we crammed everything into the 50 episodes that we produced. But to make a movie now would be unwise since we got everything that is important out and it would only be filler but its too late to have filler. Currently we have no intentions of making a second series that takes place after this one but lots of fans have asked in hundreds of thousands of letters for a continuation of the series but what would we do? Everything is finished now.”
I ask that NO ONE takes the above seriously, because it was only posted by one person and unless the interview is found on an official website, or for that matter, any website, we cannot truly believe what it says.
Q. I Heard A Rumor That A Snapshot From The New Movie Was Posted Online, Is This True?
A. No, the image is only fan art.Q. I Heard A Rumor That Eureka And Renton Have Child (a boy) And That He Is In The Movie. I Also Heard That Dominic and Anemone have a child (a girl). Is There Truth To This?
A. Yes, and no. There is no confirmation for a movie, but the official manga version of the series had at the end (and this info coming from a reliable source, since volume 6 of the manga has not been released in america), Dominic and Anemone having a baby girl. Since it is widely accepted that there WILL be a movie, it has been guessed that the movie would show this baby girl which the creators of Eureka Seven said did exist. As for Eureka and Renton's child, the cover of the 13th DVD shows a boy with wings next to a normal girl. It is guessed that the boy with the wings is their child and the girl is Dominic's and Anemone's. So we can expect this rumor to be true if there is a movie. In fact, with this new info, it might mean that the 13th DVD was meant to be a clue as to point fans of the show to the up-coming possible movie. Also, the name of Anemons's chold is given, but it has not yet been translated properly into English.
Q. I heard that makers of Eureka Seven have announced the movie someway.
A. Well, not really. A user on a blog by the name of ANGEL wrote the following. It is up for debate whether it is true.....
"To all eureka seven fan ive got good news the makers of eureka seven are announcing the movie of eureka seven explaining the endings for each of the characters (also your stupid if you havent noticed the series left alot of cliff hangers)" — December 27, 2006
Q. I Heard That The Title of The Eureka Seven Movie Was Released, Is This True?
A. Well, since the movie hasn't been officially confirmed, we can't say the official name was given. Up to this time the movie has been given the name NEW ORDER based off the name for the Sony Music Festival Episode 51. However, a new rumor has arrisen that says the name of the movie is "The Lost World"

Q. I heard a rumor that BONES announced the release date for the film! Is this true?
A. Well, nothing official has been announced by BONES, but a user who goes by Akatsuki Leader posted on a forum the folowing....
"I liked the anime tought I didnt liked some things, anyhow I heard that a movie may be coming on the 07/07/07" - January 18, 2007
Although this can not be confirmed, it does give a specifc date. All we can do is wait.
