••♥♥••So amid all of this 'omg new guild! the game is dying! GIVE US A THREAD! GIVE US POWER!' crud..
Has anyone stopped to think about Zaeyde?
She created this game. She kept it living, and when it was about to die in the GCD, she created this guild to help it live.
When we had dissolved into a mass of kicking, screaming children whining about power, bitching about misuse of power, screaming and complaining like spoiled little children, Zaeyde came back and took away the power. But only because we had proven we weren't mature enough to deal with it.
Toastie understands that, without the power that Zaeyde can delegate, the game will die, but what will happen to Zaeyde if she comes back to find her game, her guild deserted?
How will Zaeyde feel if she browses a few threads, and finds the link to a new guild? Where we've taken her game, and selfishly hidden it. Just because we felt we needed the power.
We carried on with the last game without the power, and to Toastie, it seemed to go fine.
Maybe Toastie's got the wrong end of the perspective here. She's willing to try out a new guild, if it's what the majority of people want.. the only thing weighing on Toastie's conscience is how Zaeyde would react to coming back, and finding that we've deserted what she's given us, taken her creation, and run off to somewhere where we can control it. Mutate it.. Change it into almost unrecognizable mutations of her original creation.
That's Toastie's thoughts on the matter. Take them as you will. Toastie's willing to try the new guild. She just thought you ought to take this into consideration before you go charging ahead into the wild blue yonder.

I told people that, if they're going to make a new guild, they should at least PM Zae and let her know.
But NO. They're just going to do it and let Zae find out when she pokes her head in.

I've thought about this myself. We're running off all just because we want mods. We don't really need mods. Plus, we're doing all this while Zae's gone. It's like she goes away for a period of time because her life crumbles at her feet, and we all just declare her DoA.
I agree. What happens if Zae comes back and finds a ghost town, and the fact that we couldn't just deal with it or ask her, that we just ran off and built the Sniper Game ourselves? She'll come over, and she'll find us... being whatever we will. If all goes well with us, she'll think we felt we didn't need her anymore and threw her aside.
At least ask Zae someone. D: Ask her if this entire move is acceptible to her. Ask her if she could maybe change ownership of the guild and be a VC, so the guild could have power without ditching. Maybe we could just accept the fact that we DON'T NEED VC OR MODS.

Part of me agrees with Toastie, but then another part of me says we shouldn't cling to Zae like our mother and spread our wings a little...
But Zae should have some notice of us starting a new Guild, definitely.
Doing this without her knowing seems childish. And we all know what Zae does when we act childish.

Of course I've stopped to think about Zae. She's GONE. If she cared, she'd come back, or do SOMETHING so we weren't screwed.
I mean, she's GONE. And if we want to continue, we need to do it on our own. Zae can't PUNISH us. She can't control us. She's SCREWED US UP. Because of her we're in the position we're in. Does no one get that?
Zae doesn't care. We need to leave Zae behind, or leave the game behind. I think YOU need to realize THAT.

Her life is shattered after a car accident, her family is falling apart, she needs money, she doesn't have time for Gaia. And every time we call her back to the guild, it's because we've gone and made a mess, wether we have power or not. It's never a good note when she comes back. Hell, she had people FINISH A GAME FOR HER, which she planned to do, because we didn't want to wait around for her. I think she does care, she just isn't able to DO something about it because she's too busy trying to handle 47 other things at once.

I agree with Shoy.
Zae needs to take care of her LIFE before she takes care of a stupid game. I mean, yeah, we all have a lot of friends here and whatever, but life comes before internet.
I'm not all for a new guild, but I'm not all for just sitting here. D:
Someone needs to invite her to the new guild and PM her about it. kthx. <3

Well, I think the new guild is just a temporary solution.
If Zae does return, I know that I will leave the other guild and come right back here.
It's just that there is NO authority here, everyone is just running around pushing buttons and having no consequences.
I don't know if Nymphie has or hasn't PM'd Zae, I will check and if she hasn't I'll do it myself. Because I don't think it's fair for us to just up and leave without like leaving a note. Except Nymphie's at work right now... and I don't know her PW (I think)... so I'll check when I talk to her.

If someone cannot find the time to do something, it does not mean they don't care. It just means that there are more important things on their plate that the absolutely HAVE to take care of, before they can come back and really do something.
But Zaeyde DOES need to be alerted. And not after we've made the switch, but BEFORE.
Because if we do this, and then send a message saying "oh, by the way..." it's just going to seem utterly disrespectful, and like we don't give a s**t what she thinks because we're going to do this with or without her.
If we really are going to move to another guild, we need to show Zaeyde that we still care about her, her opinions, and the fact that she brought the game here so that we could all enjoy it.Wallflower...
