It's come to my attention that Link, From the legend of Zelda series, does not have many potential male partners.
He has female up the wazzoo, but no males.
D: The depression.
Any other lovers of Link out there?

I am. I've seen him with his Dark-side. I've also seen him with Morpha, which I find disturbing. As soon as Twilight Princess came out though.... I mean come on... his so called "fiancé'" in OoT was Ruto, the Zora Princess... Now there's a cute little prince. I'm a bit shota happy about it~
Sorry if anyone finds that sick. At least I think they'd be a cute pair as friends.

Link is absolutely one of those characters I can’t see slashed. One reason is because he really just doesn’t seemed interested in relationships, and like you said, there’s almost no one to slash him with. Male or female. With most characters, the most he ever does is solve a level with a character, there’s no real in depth interaction (unless it’s Zelda or the Fairy), nothing leads me to think ‘oh wow, they really might like each other more than friends’. Link is also so mission orientated or hero-orientated that he barely notices when people want him.
Also Shadow-Link doesn’t’ really count. To me, the fans are grasping at straws when they do that pairing, no matter how pretty the art work is. And Ganaondorf? Not even the sexy rival vibe with those two. It’s all: Must Destory/Save Hyrule! Even with Zelda… Seems like Link really isn’t interested, expect maybe in Wind Waker where I think he thought she was kinda cool but wasn‘t really interested in her. ^^;
So yeah, to me, slashing Link with the bird boy in Wind Waker, let’s say, is the same as slashing him with a Skulltula. Ridiculous. But dude, whatever floats your boat. XD

I can't slash Link with anyone either. He doesnt talk for a start! And last time i heard, talking was integral to starting friendships and relationships! If hes supposed to interested in Zelda, i didnt even pick up on that!

If hes supposed to interested in Zelda, i didnt even pick up on that! Link does "talk". He "talks" like main characters use to in old RPGs (like Van from Legends of Legaia). As in, you're suppose to interpret what he'd say from the reactions and responses of the characters he interacts with. So you could interpret a relationship by how the characters react to what Link does and “says”. Honestly, I miss those days where characters didn’t talk all the damn time. Ugh, and don’t get me started on voice overs for even NPCs.

And, I think you're absolutely right! He is unable to be slashed.
Does not change the fact that Ganondorf/Link or Link/Dark Link is ******** hot.
If only there was more! D:

Ruto wanted to marry Link. I don't think there is so much of a species-rift between the different Hyrulians.
I don't really support any pairings, but Link/Dark Link makes for some pretty pictures.
