What do you think Erik would do if he ever encountered High School Musical? Would he Punjab the cast for horrible acting? Would he Punjab Disney Channel for producing such a thing? Or would he simply die of shock that people could like this horrible nonsense?
I think the last one is more likely...
P.S.: I apologize to those who may like High School Musical. It annoys the crap out of me and I don't like it at all. I'm not trying to offend anyone!

I was actually talking to someone who saw that, today. I've heard nothing but bad things about it from the people I talk to, so I'm just kind of avoiding it for now. I might see it eventually, but...egh.

Personally I think he would hate everyone for liking rap and hip hop and other such junk. Retarded half-musicals like that would be a bit low on his "things to kill" list.

The only good part of HSM was "Status Quo"; it was well-choreographed, the singing was actually very nice and the song itself was had a good beat.
The rest? Can't bear to watch the rest, actually.
Erik would probably avoid such an extreme dive from opera.

If Erik had to watch HSM... I've seen it a total of three times, all because of my preppy little sister, and I gagged each and every time. I'm pretty tolerant of most pop/girly music. I don't like it, but I don't writhe on the floor screaming. (Except Jesse McCartney and Aaron Carter. They're an exception.) So if Erik had to listen to it, he'd probably shoot himself repeatedly.

Or maybe he'd just Phantom the set of the sequel (AAHH!! NOT ANOTHER ONE!!) and scare everyone to death!

Utakan Personally I think he would hate everyone for liking rap and hip hop and other such junk. Retarded half-musicals like that would be a bit low on his "things to kill" list. THANK YOU! And as I feel the world is in dire need of one, to bring back the intelligence of modern musicals, I hasten to add: Someone should make a heavy metal musical. 9.9 The pop and rap rage is starting to really get on my nerves. I mean, if some people like it, fine, but don't go around shoving it in our faces or bashing the kind of music we like just because yours always hits the top of the charts and ours is listened to mainly by smaller sects who like to discuss politics and Phantom of the Opera. Okay, that was off topic, but heh, I'm in a ranty mood.

Thorn Venatrix I was actually talking to someone who saw that, today. I've heard nothing but bad things about it from the people I talk to, so I'm just kind of avoiding it for now. I might see it eventually, but...egh. Eh, it was...a Disney movie. With all of the cheesiness and unrealistic "high school" experiences implied. You know. Everyone is part of a clique, and anyone who talks to/interacts with someone in another clique is viewed with shock and disbelief. No one can possibly do two diffrent things (sing and play sports), and Happy endings and people who are just "meant to be" are real. Once you stop looking for realistic high school acting, its okay. (But I missed the beginning)

Wow...has anyone else noticed that a lot of people seem to just insert their own way of thinking into a "What would Erik do question"? Not that that's nessecarilly wrong in the case of the question, but...it was an interesting thing I noticed. (spork~god) i think he would be horrified that they had the nerve to mention phantom of the opera in the movie... (i'm a closet fan...most people at my school are) If most people at your school are closet fans, why doesn't everyone just come out? Or for that matter, why don't you encourage them to do so?

Erik'd call it and it's fans disgusting and tasteless, and then move on, most likely.
Spork: Odd, everyone at my school LOVES HSM. They beg to watch it in music class all the time.

EW-EW-EW. No offense to fans, but I hate that movie and I've never seen it. Well, then I guess I shouldn't say I hate it... But I will not be seeing it anytime in the next... EVER. Erik. Erik would... probably leave the cast alone. They're not worthy of his lasso. He doesn't really kill things needlessly. He's always got his reasons, they just might not be very good ones in other people's eyes.
This is a little off-topic, but ohmygawd. Some stupid soprano in my chorus class suggested that we do High School Musical for this year's school musical. I gagged.

He would try to stop it or kill cast members if Christine was involved.
And hate to break it to you, but he does kill things needlessly. That is, to him, his reasons are valid, but they are only logical to his own paranoid delusions. Hence the reason he is crazy. He sees a percieved threat and acts against it whether or not it is a true threat to him. I would think that is accurately placed in the "needless" category.
