The day was cool and breezy, a perfect day in the oasis as the sun mounted the sky before beginning it's slow, downward decent to dusk. A lovely afternoon, not too long after lunch but long enough that one wasn't feeling too full. Minze had dined on a lovely little salad topped with mint leaves and berries, leaving her mouth with an airey, sweet sensation for some time after. It was a perfect meal so such a day, the gentle breezes tossing her forelock as she ruffled her tiny cherub wings. Minze was slightly smaller than average, but her wings suited her perfectly. They didn't get in the way, but they accented her hide beautifully.
The maluess shook her tri-coloured hide before taking off at a slow walk through one of the gardens in the temple. It was quiet save for the sounds of birds in the air and a fountain on the other side of the bush she was investigating. Someone was setting up a den here, but at the moment it was abandoned. She sniffed the air briefly before moving on, deciding it was more than likely a litter den and it would be best to let it be. Afterall, her goddess would prefer it so. Smiling secretly to herself at the thought of future pups wandering the temple, she rounded a corner to find herself on the main path again that led from the fountain to the entrance.

Aylen was walking around the large temple. So far she hadn't found herself lost yet. As she walked her white tipped ears swivled around at the sound of her two back hooves clipping and clopping on the ground. She liked the sound of them clipping. Ruffling her white as a cloud wings, Aylen smiled then rubbed her head against her front leg. Her dull horns did not hert her when the scraped against her leg.
Suddenly hearing the sound of other hoves clipping, Aylen lifted her head up and took a few steps back. The female found herself afraid of being found and this new malu, or maluess finding her. Aylen did not really like talking, usually she couldn't think of something to talk about. She was one of the sweetest malu out there, but she was also one of the skittish. Jumping at anything, and everything that made a sound.

The maluess raised her head and her ears swiveled forward as she caught the sound of another malu nearby. The dull thudding of her hooves against the dirt path was accented by another pair on the stone of the temple. With a slow smile as the sound stopped, she thought it might be a nervous child and swept forward with gentle intentions.
Rounding the corner of the stone entrance, she found herself nearly face-to-face with another fully-grown maluess and Minze blinked a few times before stepping backwards in surprise. Her pink eyes sparkled with a smile then, and her lips spread once more as she spoke in a soothing soprano-tone that was not too high but not so low it became more of an alto. "Hullo, I'm Minze."

Having the other maluess right in her face on an accident, made Aylen jump a little. Anything, and everything scared the shy maluess. So far, she did not have many friends because of her shyness.
Taking in a deep breath, Aylen tried to calm herself down. She wanted more friends, she was just too scared to make any. In soft low voice, Aylen answered the other maluess' greetings. "Oh... hello, I'm Aylen." Just noticing how soft her voice was, Aylen hoped that the other maluess heard her.

The maluess let her rear legs fold beneath her so that she was sitting, her pink eyes regarded the other malu inquisitively. "I apologise, I hadn't meant to scare you." Her gaze glittered with quiet amusement that rarely left her expression, but she didn't give the impression she was laughing at the maluess, but rather merely taking joy in her presence.
When the blue female spoke, Minze's smile broadened once again as she dipped her head in a belated greeting, "A pleasure to meet you, Aylen. How are you?" She had the sensation that conversation with this malu should be taken slow so as not to frighten her into silence.
