*jad continued walking along the road, aware of others moving in the trees. he stopped as the mob came into view, weapons sheathed and holstered, just standing there as they approached*

*the leader of the mob stepped forward* you are turonin? *he held an evil looking contenence in the dim lighting of electro torches, and held a threatening rifle. half the mob was equiped with modern weapons, mostly with bulllet ammo, while the other halr sported swords and other bladed weapons*
aye, i'm turonin.... why've you disturbed this night? *he spoke in an authoritve voice, and stood his ground, tail twitching in the tension*

Tynan sighed inwardly as he watched the going ons from behind the tree line, using his abilities to shield himself from detection. He had been sent back to keep third party forces from damaging what so much time and effort had been spent on cultivating. That Ghost woman could have been troublesome if she had made any larger moves and now there was this more or less unexpected mob. Still this Turonin seemed to have it under control for now, as long as it didn't get out of hand then Tynan wouldn't have to do anything but watch and wait.

((ey, sometimes...)) *the man who'd spoken to jad fell sideways, a spray of blood coming from a high velocity impact. suddenly, a crowd materialized behind jad, opposing the confused mob, made of volunteers of the gaian defense militia, random spatterings of gun fire went off* *jad in the middle of it, had heard the gunshot, and ducked to a knee, pistol unholstered and pointed to the ground. when the leader had been hit he moved forward amidst the chaos to check for a pulse, finding none*

*the greatest number of individuals ran, from both sides, but a sniping match started, and jad was caught right in the middle of it. he altered his pistol to stun round only and then set to taking down each of the combatants, and realised it was already too late... this very situation could spark a civil war*

Tynan cursed under his breath. Partly for the out break of gun fighting and partly because he had missed most of the second group. Hoping to settle things down quickly he manipulated the multiple shadows in the area into forming a mostly solid wall between the two groups, Jad's actions putting him on the side with the mob. The bullets and that hit it lost enough momentum on their way through that they fell harmlessly to the ground on the other side.

*several dozen more gunshots were heard and then silence, followed by more shattering gunfire. jad silent made his way through the battle field, knowing that alliance patrols would be on their way here, and there'd be more fighting*
