well I was thinking on doing an rp but most of the time my rp idea's are usually shot down, or don't last long for some reason or another. Also I am iffy on going into rp's when other people are in them. I'll explain the rp idea latter on, but I just needed something to bent some steam sorry it had to be here. But of course the rp idea I am thinking up is a gundam based rp. But the rp isn't based on earth, or if it is then it's under attack by an other world race. If no on earth then it's about two different races of humanoid beings attacking each other for dominance of the planet.

Well as of yet I don't know what gundam's will be in it. But I am not excluding anything yet. But the story can either take place near earth or not. Still I am thinking on doing two different halfling races. One is either andrioid/cyborg, and/or the other is some halfing animal/genetic design race.
First story: Either one of the two groups invade earth, in search to expand or improve their empire or life style. Either that or revenge for human's doing something to them: Either leaving them on some hostile planet, or treating them as inferiors.
Second story: That both groups or human and one group, or all three fighting for dominance or something else on a foreign planet.
what your take on this so far, and is it a decent or bad idea?

Personaly, this sounds more like a mellow Votron story. It could use a bit more work in order to fit into the Gundam universe.... and considering that's what the guild is based on, it would have to involve the Gundams in some major manner.
If it were a war between the Gundams and these other races, then yeah, I could see where that would go.. But apart from taht with something totaly away from Gundam..I could simply point and say " Oh look.. Voltron.." And I have great respect for Voltron.. But moreso for Ideon...
Anyway...any other ideas for it?

Okay, thanks. I didn't know it would turn out to something like that. Thanks for that in advance. Well my original idea was base on discrimination and how stupid it is. But then again that's probably been beaten to the ground so much. But then again, I wanted to something original but I don't want it to look like some of the other gundam stores as in faction or politics. But then again, I don't know if that can be done or not.

I personaly think that it could be done and it's caught my interest.. but.. As I said.. It just needs a bit f work..
How about something like this?
Earth ahs reaced it's limits on resources, so thepeople of earth are forced to span outwards (excluding colonies) and attempt to find another planet with the ability to sustain life.. and they find one...Thus leading to a sort of interplanitary war.. that just sohappens to involves mechs.. and eventualy Gundams.

Thank you. But here's a thought, but I don't know if it's a good one. What if the gundam's were some sort of ancient technology that was revived, or has that been beaten or done before?
