my bf allways puts red dwarf on the tv just before we go to bed, he says it helps him fall to sleep but the next moning i wake up and for some reason find the erge to wack the toaster or call anything that annoys me a smeg head.
has anyone ever fallen asleep and woken up like that?

I call everyone a smeg head anyway xd
And that happens because it's the last thing you watch/see/hear before you fall asleep. Your environment when you sleep effects how you sleep, and how you feel when you wake up

I used to watch Red Dwarf before bed too. I never really noticed feeling any more smeggy than usual upon waking up, but then again, I'm usually pretty cranky in the mornings and wouldn't think that the urge to wack a toaster would be out of the ordinary. smile

i know this is a tangent but has anyone ever accidentally made love when the music from either rd or (even more poignant) the music from startrek tng. ive done both accidentally and its the most amusing and triumphant thing youll ever do!
i can hear you singin the tune in your head now mrgreen

My Little Pony rocks! cool Well. I have watched the ponys alot. I liked them. But trust me. When you fall asleep with them in tha background. You have weird dreams.

The only thing that makes me feel smeggy the next morning after fallign asleep watching RD is waking up realizing that I fell asleep and missed it!

Once I fell asleep whilst watching Dracula. When I woke up my mouth was half open (how lady-like) and I was like "Huh? I have fangs now. Why do I have fangs? Oh, wait, I don't have fangs. Damnit, I wanted fangs."
And I also have song lyrics over my bed which I read while trying to get to sleep. The ones right over my pillow are "Wake up you're dead.". That's always fun to fall asleep/wake up to. And if I read it I always manage to wake up afterwards, which is good, as I'm terrible in the mornings.

They used to air Red Dwarf starting at midnight where I lived, so almost every time I watched it I fell asleep afterwards.
It prompted some reeeealy strange dreams.
