Hey kids, it's yet another Silly Genji Rp. Now, this is my first time releasing a Final Fantasy Rp, so be gentle.

The year is now 13,099 and world of Gaea has just recovered from a world war that savaged many nations. Alliances were broken and great cities were razed to oblivion.

3 months have passed since the Great War, Cities are now being rebuilt, and tension between the 4 continents is dying down. People of all races are beginning to accept each other again, and borders are opening up.

Let's backtrack a bit. During the war, a strange monument was discovered. Archaeologist and Linguist; Des Dildander, examined the monument and came to the conclusion that the monument was in fact, a shrine to some mythological god, possibly from an ancient civilization. But what he didn't release to the public, that there was a set of directions, in a dead language. Directions to find the 'deity' named Ifrit. Des decided it was nothing more than the talk of ancient, ignorant philosophers or something of the like.

Back to the present, a 2nd deity shrine was uncovered, Des inspected it and found that it, also had directions to find yet another deity. His curiousity got the best of him, so he decided follow these direction's to find these so called deities. No one has seen him since.

Your everyday, average Joe won't know anything about these primordial beings known as the deity, but the information regarding them is very popular in the underground, and if you poke around enough, you're going to find out all there is to know. But, what happens when the information falls into your hands? What happens then? Now, that's a question...

To become part of the cast of FF:GD you need to fill a profile and it needs to be approved by two of my staff members. Slightly stricter than last time? Yes, because I hate godmodders and idiots. But before you go ahead and fill it out, read this, this and this.

They're basic guidelines, made by experienced role-players.

Yes! To your relief, I'm abolished the pre-set class system. It was inflexible and boring. Here are a guidelines of guildlines that you have to follow.

Guidelines

-Try and use some preset classes as bases when creating a class (E.g. Theif, Warrio, Black Mage, White Mage etc.)
- You can alter the stats of a preset class. (Eg. Samurai is usually a Power/Defense type character, but you can alter it to Power/Speed) Just remember to balance it out.
- You must stick to the classes preset weapon tree. (Eg. Black Mages cannot use Gunblades, Brawler/Monks cannot use Sniper Rifles.)
-The Class 'Oblivion Knight' is off limits.
- No class is superior to another. Remember that.

-Will be updated occasionally-

Player Classes

These are classes already created by a character, so before you create a class, have a look here to see if it's not already created.

Silly Genji's Classes
Gunblade Knight - The only weapons available to this class is the gunblades and guns. This class ranges from Power Type to Speed Type, making it very flexible. Gunblade Knights are usually nimble and agile and their weapons are usually lightweight, which allows them to maximize full extent of their mobility. The class ability they use is called Trigger Arts.

Dark Knight - There is a wide arsenal available to Dark Knight's, they aren't just limited to swords. They can use Swords, Katanas, Spears, Whips and Guns. The preset build for this class is Power/Defense Type, but you can alter it as you see fit. Dark Knights are quite balanced by themselves but their class ability, Dark Arts, allows them to sacrifice vitality in order to deal massive damage. Dark Knights can negate cursed weapons negative aliments.

Mystic Knight - Mystic Knights are only able to use the Sword class weapon, due to their class ability. Mystic Knights typically have Magic Atk/Power Type builds, but you can alter the Power to Speed or Defense Type, I guess. The Spellblade ability that makes Mystic Knights unique, allows them to add a flavour of Black magic to their swords (Eg. Fira, Blizzard, Poison, Flare) allowing them to deal extra elemental damage. The effects could be devastating if an elemental weapon is equipped. However, it takes much more time to understand a spell for Mystic Knights, than it does for Black Mages. But with a lot of patience, Mystic Knights have the potential to be one of the most powerful classes in the Rp.

~Milkshake-Sama~
Pegasus Conscriptor - A class that is trained heavily in speed and agility, giving him/her a great edge in combat. Although it's defense is low, the Pegasus Conscript makes up for it's lacking defenses with a high attack power and incredible agility. With an evade rate of +80% and training in the use of Guns and Hand To Hand Combat, the Pegasus Conscript is a class that many find less rewarding. It's lack of elemental magic gives it a disadvantage in battle, as it also lacks any magic defense. This class has the class ability of Gun Katas. This ability concentrates on meditation and martial arts combined with gunskill.

Foot-Soldier - The Foot-Soldier is reasonably new. It's the name given to those who train in the arts required or made compulsary by the Militia. Foot-Soldiers are taught the use of Short Swords, Light Armor and Firearms. The Foot-Soldier can only equip Light Armor, due to it's lack of agility it cannot afford to lose any more speed.
The use of Guns and Short Swords is a renowned skill of the Foot-Soldier. Some High Levelled Foot-Soldiers can even wield both a Handgun AND a Short Sword. The Foot-Soldier can use several forms of Black Magic, mainly elemental combat magics, basic White Magics for healing, and virtually no other real magic. The Foot-Soldier is gifted with the 'War Cry' skill. These War-Cries come in a variety of styles, each Cry is used to boost specific traits of the character. This practice has been around since the Barbarians, but has never been truly defined until now.

Okay, my Limit Break system is a little different from the one's that you'd see in typical Final Fantasy Rp, since I am an innovator, not an imitator. First I'll explain Limit Breaks, then Limit Bursts.

Limit Breaks

In this Rp, a Limit Break is could be an attack, but usually isn't. It's more of a buff. A status effect that greatly increases Power/Speed/Defense/Magic Atk/Magic Dfn/Magic Spt (Also, I think this is more proper, since you're actually Breaking your Limit). The choice is up to you. Now here are your limitations.

-Should you chose your Limit Break to be an attack, it won't grant you any buffs. (Eg. FF8 Squall's Renzokuken.)
-If you chose to greatly increase one of your qualities, the rest of your qualities will remain unchanged, yet if you chose to increase two, they won't be as high as they would be if you chose one. Unless, you are willing to decrease two of your remaining qualities.
-Limit Breaks are extremely powerful and are not to be abused and will only be used occasionally.
-You aren't limited to one Limit Break, you get one for every type of weapon you use. However, say you use two weapons, and you already used a Limit Break for your first weapon, you can't use a 2nd Limit Break straight after the 1st.

Limit Bursts

Okay, these are actually attacks. Once you successfully pull off a Limit Break, go straight into a Limit Burst. A Limit Burst is an attack you can only pull of when you are in a Limit Break. These are attacks that far surpass your regular ones, so don't abuse them. Here are your guidelines.

- Your Limit Bursts fall under these categories; Power, Speed, Defense, Magic Atk, Magic Dfn, Magic Spt.
-You have 4 Limit Bursts (Starting off with only one). 1, being the weakest, 4 being the strongest.
- You are not capable of learning Omnislash. Die.
- You can have an element in your Limit Burst. It doesn't matter if you're magically retarded.

Player Limit Breaks/Bursts

Silly Genji's Limit Breaks/Bursts
Riz's Limit Breaks

Tenshigoudan - Riz's primary limit break. He gains a vast increase in Speed and Magic Atk capabilities. A pair of jagged wings created from his very life essence erupt from his back in the form of pure, raw energy that crackles with life and could kill a mosquito if it got to close. The wings allow him flight, but not in the traditional sense. The wings act as a turbine, expelling energy to propel of the ground or to reach impossible speeds. Unfortunately, the Limit Break lowers his Defense and Magic Dfn, so if he gets hit, he's out of the fight.

Hazzan - Riz's cursed gun, Sarim Metatron, transmutes into a liquid steel, that wraps around his arm, granting a greater access to his MP. It's shape changes drastically, into a sleeker cannon. Riz calls it the iCannon. He's quite fond of it. The gun greatly increases his Magic Atk, much higher than Tenshigoudan does. Riz often feels drained after using this limit break and has to rest for a while.

Riz's Limit Bursts

Tenshigoudan - 1st Burst, Gentle Minus - Riz slashes horizontaly, firing off a holy-elemental, long range, shock-wave from Girius, slicing anything in it's path.

Hazzan - 1st Burst, Divine Retribution - Metatron gatherers as much of Riz's MP as she/he/it can in one shooting, and refines it. The charging spans to -usually- one minute, and then Metatron fires. The ball of energy explodes on heavy impact impact, so it won't go off it grazes anything.

Okay, following the pattern of the Limit Break/Limit Burst system, The Class Ability will be the skill tree that Class Skills fall under. The Class Ability has to be loyal to it's class, you can't modify it to your liking, but you have to create your own Class Skills. Here are some guidelines.

Guidelines

- First off, don't go making these skills Limit Burst quality, they're skills you can use at anytime, so don't make them to powerful. A simple spell or combo should suffice.
- You can create your own spell, as long as it suits your class. But if it's essentially the same as a preset spell, what's the point?
- You start of with 5 Skills.

-Will be updated frequently-

Player Class Abilities/Skills

Silly Genji's Class Abilities/Skills
Riz's Class Abilities

Trigger Arts - Riz's Trigger Art's is more modified to suit his exceptional mobility. His skeleton structure is extremely flexible, allowing him to preform unorthodox techniques. He also enjoys the feeling of wind blowing onto his face, and through his hair, so a majority of his techniques are aerial-based.

Quick Draw - I guess Riz has watched far to many wild-west/dirty-harry movies for his own good, because the name Quick Draw, doesn't really suit his Class Skill set.

Riz's Trigger Arts Class Skills

Gatotsu - A powerful thrust, followed by a trigger shot. Riz usually uses this skill to create an opening, or throw his opponent off-balance.

Vulcan Shot - Riz uses both shotgun shells in a single trigger shot. Results are usually devastating.

Vulcan Shot: Paradox - Riz sinks the blade of Girius into the ground, and uses Vulcan Shot. This propels him high up into the air, where he has the advantage.

Riz's Quick Draw Class Skills

Easy Bluff - When Riz has no bullets in his chamber, Metatron creates a powerful energy bullet, using Riz's own MP.

Life Insurance - When Riz is completely out of bullets, Metatron uses Riz's MP to create as much bullets as he needs. They aren't as powerfl as the Easy Bluff bullet, so it doesn't eat up Riz's MP that quickly.

This map is 100% custom by the Genji. Please bow down to me. Okay, you're free to create your own country and cities, but shrines aren't for you to create. Sorry, buddy. Here, let me give you an idea on what these continents were based on, 'cause you don't want to have a Rome in Asia, do you?

Likria - Continent based on Asia. A technological-based race that hasn't quite give up its customs.

Ganto - An industrial country, full of warriors and tourist attractions.

Dokyeo - Is it that obvious? Are you cringing? Yes, this capital city of Ganto is based on Tokyo. This city is only truly alive at night. It also has an abundance of deity information.
Facilities-
Hotel
Inn/Bar
Restaurant
Repair/Synthesis Store
Gas Station

Shogo Town - A peaceful town for those who want to get away from the big city. Not much here, but that could be a good thing.
Facilities-
Inn/Bar
Weapon Store
Gas Station

Karakura Town - Yes, I paid homage to Bleach. Sue me.
Facilities-
Kurosaki Hospital
Bar/Inn
Car Rental
Gas Station

Duntun Jungle - A mysterious jungle. Rumours say that a strange, life-giving creature resides in the Jungle, but nobody's been able to snag a picture. Monsters live here too.

Gekin Temple - A temple once inhabited by 200 monks. The monks refused to leave the temple and were killed during the Great War. Some say there spirits reside in the temple, causing the statues to move and attack.

??? Shrine - A deity shrine visited by only two individuals. To get through here, you have to go through Gekin Temple and Duntun Jungle, which is virtually impossible.

Jotaly - Once an Erutian colony. It was liberated during the Great War, ergo, it's being rebuilt. Lot's of Riz's and Xegra's deity informants reside here since it's safe and unpopular.

Crinto - This is the only major town that hasn't been razed. It's a hotspot for informants.
Facilities - Inn/Bar
Car Rental
Gas Station

Colten - Also, another country that was destroyed during the Great War, however, it's rebuilding a lot quickly. For now, it's a quiet country with not much going for it.

Shobu Town - People say it's a big town, but all it is, is an big Systhesis Research Lab.
Facilities - Synthesis Shop
Inn
Lab

Rinza - Aka The country by the sea. It's known for it's beautiful twilights, and creepy forest. It wasn't touched by the Great War, so it's doing just fine. People from here have a southern accent, or use Kansai dialect.

Desayd - A beach town, that has a beautiful sunset. Anyyone who visits this town never seems to forget it. It has a canyon just over it, so tourists can watch the town from above.
Facilities - Inn
Restaurant
Magic Shop

Veet - A small island nation previously cut off from the main continent of Likria. Populated by a race of bipedal cats, the Mareet, Veet has a very strong tie to the earth and a history spanning farther back than most civilizations. It also holds the Great Life Tree which the Mareet, who are steeped in mysticism, say from which all life began.

Jareet - Known in the Mareet's language as "The Light of All", Jareet is the capital city of Veet and home to most of the Mareet population. All of the humans that have visited Veet have only seen Jareet which sits in the woody boughs of the Great Life Tree. This is due to the fact that the rest of the country is still closed to non-cat folk. The overwhelming sentiment of the Mareet include the disdain of the human culture which is seen as greedy and base.
Facilities-
Magic Shop
Weapon Shop
Item Shop
Animal Trainers open to Mareet and guests of a Mareet who will vouch for them
Inn for humans

Kakreem - A race that once dominated the isle of Veet before the Mareet pushed them out to the small Heba Plateau. The dark race of panther people are known for shady deals and broken promises. They have embraced the human's technologies for the simple hope that they will one day help them retake Veet.
Facilities-
Car Rental
Weapon Shop
Inn
Gas Station

The Great Likria Root Bridge - A long exposed root from the Great Life Tree in Veet. A large landslide caused the root to extend to the mainland of Likria nearly one hundred years prior to present time exposing the Mareet race to the rest of the world. It is now zealously guarded for it is the only way in and out of Veet.

Zani Swamp - A noxious swampland that surround the base of the Great Life tree in Veet. Only the Mareet themselves know how to navigate the swamp with its quicksands, deadly animals and insects.

Chapter 1: INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT! SHARI ABDUCTED!
PostPosted: Mon May 28, 2007 12:49 pm

Shari's rythmic footsetps resounded off of the ancient wood of the Great Likria Wood Bridge. Though as pitch black as night could get, her vision was unmarred. The cat like eyes of her Mareet heritage saw to that. Leaving during the day was out of the question, for this time she was not traveling abroad with her father or delivering messages to the gaurds closer to the mainland. No, this time she was escaping. He mother was smothering her and her father...
Shari was brought out of her thoughts by two bright lights up ahead. Will O' Whisps? No, they were gaining. And fast. She steeled herself abrought out her weapon, a huge chakram she had stolen from her father.

"Die" Riz rebuked, as he got out of the car. He was about to bring a world of hurt upon the jackass they had almost run over... Until he realized it was a Mareet. Being the opportunist that he is...

"Hey. Need a ride?"
Shari brandished her weapon dangerously. "Where are you going-kurr? You know that thing is forbidden in Veet-kurr."
In her eyes was the normal disdain the Mareet have for human technology, but also a small glint of curiosity.

"Woah!!" Riz yelled as he stomped on his brakes. The Shuriken screeched violently before the came to a complete halt just an inch before Shari. The backlash caused Riz to smash his head against his steering wheel. He was now bleeding. Xegra turned around and grinned at him.

Riz laughed. "They aren't banned in Veet, they're only banned in The Holy City of Jareet. I was... uh... Driving to Kakreem. You don't get out much, do you? Now, put that weapon down, before you hurt yourself." Riz said, eying the chakram. It was odd to say the least, it shined with a strange, alluring light. "Anyway, you look awfully suspicious, wandering across the great bridge, in pitch darkness and wielding a stolen weapon,". Riz almost smirked. He could tell she had stolen it, the girl obviously didn't get much practice with it, she was holding it like an amateur. "Give me one reason why I shouldn't turn you to the authorities?" Riz said, hoping to play on her fears.
