 Elawi pranced away from her teepee to find a place to sing.
Though she knew now she wasnt a freak for singing, she still wanted to practice alone till she was sure she was perfect, or atleast the timming was perfect.
She galloped over the open plains careful not to slip on the snow covered ground. She hummed a tune out loud trying to prepare words for it as she searched for a place to practice her singing.

 well that was just Great!
Ace thought sarcastically trudging in a deliberately ill temperd manor, although a bit dramatically.
he went out, took time out of his oh so busy schedule to see what fun he could have in the meadow with the other foals only to find that it was completely empty.
how inconvenient.
trudging his way up a hill he stopped at the top, stomping his front hooves down close to one another and blew a raspberry to the sky.

Elawi came to a sudden hault as a rather rude sound echoed near by. Sticking her hear over some of the tall grasses she had run into she looked about too see a strange colored foal blowing a raspberry at the sky. She raised a brow as she ventured out of the grasses that she had been blending into.
"Excuse me?But what did the sky do that is making you be rude to it?" Elawi giggled abit at her own comment while walking towards the colt.

Ace stopped dead raspberry as he heard an unfamiliar voice close by,
tongue still hanging out he turned his head to see a foal about his age advancing towards him. though she was obviously not like him, she had a horn, and split hooves, and her tail was all wrong.
he slurped in his tongue and hitched up his wide toothy grinning, hopping around to face her, with a lax almost silly posture, head tilting to the side so much it was nearly upside down.
"what did it do? why, it was offending me!"

Elawi giggled flicking her lion like tail.
"How does the sky offend one? Did it not give the weather that you were hoping for?" Elawi asked truly wondering what the colt had ment by the comment.
Elawi trotted abit closer trying to get a better look at the colt.
"Oh and my name is Elawi. What's your's?" Elawi said with a bow of her head before she returned his toothy grin.

"I don't have a spat with weather, weather is doing its job." he said straitening up and shaking his head "but just LOOk at that sky!" he turned his head up to face the sky
"so big and... all over the place, and always above us. so smug... its mocking us!" he jerked his head back down eyes wide face dramatically enthusiastic.
"it thinks its better then us"
though it faded and he moved his head up again grinning
"Ace is the Name. and i don't know what the game is yet. but whatever it is, its bound to be a hoot!"

Elawi giggled and swished her tail abit.
"No it makes us feel special, its jealous that we can play games and have fun while its stuck up there floating forever."
She wasnt sure what to think of this colt but he was funny atleast.
"I know what the game is." Elawi said walking up to the strange colt.
"Its....." She starts to speak before she suddenly turns around and smacks Ace lightly with her lion tail.
"TAG!!!!!!" With that shout she was off running in the opposite direction from Ace.

"ahh to be naive" he said in a dreamy voice looking back up at the sky, glowering at it for a moment then looking back at her, right in time to her a face full of tail.
blinking, stunned for a moment having not been expected it. mouth open slightly eyes wide, he watched her run off.
"tag?" he pondered this for a moment as she ran off "not the kind of Game I was thinking of, but for now it works"
he laughed again and galloped off to catch up with her, laughing loudly as he went.

Elawi looked back for a moment wondering what he had meant, but as he begain to chase her she shurged it off.
"Your silly!!! You can laugh but can you catch me. silly one?!"
With that Elawi started to gallop full speed ahead quickly trying to
see if she could pull off a disappearing trick her father taught her for such games and for self defense as well.

jerking his chin up, brow raised in surprise as he watched the filly dart off in front of him.
he had to hand it to her, she was certainly fast. it didn't take long for him to lose track of her.
flattening his ears back, and streamlining his head with his body, he beat his hooves hard against the grass in an attempt to gain close distance on between them.
when even that seemed to fail. he yanked himself to a halt, breaking from his gallop with a couple of small bounces, and looked around, mouth open, eyebrows narrowed in bemusement.
"now where'd you go?" he said, looking around.

Hearing him stop she then knew it was time to pull off her father's trick. She turned galloping towards Ace, but she silenced her hoof beats having been taught the way to treat the earth for this to happen. Elawi hid in running past Ace in the the long grass. She then let her hoof beat be heard as she ran up behind him grabbing his tail before galloping off infront of his laughing as loud as she could.
