Ya, read about that. I find it to be funny, horrible, and sad. If people are going to judge a game because the names were used by a pair of whackos.......shame on those who judge in that way.

Unfortunately the people in Germany feel that the game is what's causing the teens to go whacko. rolleyes I think they are blaming games in general, not just Final Fantasy. Though, they did dub FFVII as the "killer game", which I find quite offensive. It's so stupid.

It's sad on both ends when these things happen, but they have been happening for as long as media history recorded. From the theory of Jack the Ripper being blamed on a french painter because he painted murder scenes. There's the "Lex Luther" killing and the "Vampire" killings, ect. It's really obsession in the wrong hands.

Lol that's funny and sad at the same time. I kind of hate it though when people blame video games for murders and stuff when it is the person who is doing the killing is at fault. Somone can play blood bath games all day and stay sain. Its the week minded people (thinks of obi wan and his mind tricks) who can't play a game with out being infulanced by it. sweatdrop

It's the adults who blame the games for influencing the kids. Funny how they jump to conclusions. I don't think there is anybody from the age of 13 and up that would follow in Sephiroth's steps to try to take over the planet. rolleyes
