It was a bright sunny day with a few clouds in the sky. Birds would chirp endlessly and light brezze blew by. Not very far from pond was a clearing in the forest.
Kai rested under the shade of a nearby tree. He laid on his side so he would have a clear view if anyone decided to show themself. He yawned lazy and looked up at the sky.

Sapphire's ears perked up. She was content listening to the song of the birds, but she was bored... She stretched and stood up on the branch she was on before leaping down nimbly. As soon as her paws hit the ground, she noticed Kai and smiled widely. "Hi there!"

Kai looked up and noticed the most beautiful female he had ever laid eyes on. "Um, Hi...." he said shly. He was never used to talking around females anyway.

Sapphire smiled warmly and padded over. She couldn't help notice how striking this Ulaya's colours were! She giggled a little to herself and sat down just in front of him. "My name's Sapphire... I don't believe we've met....?"

"Oh, um my name is Kai." Kai replied with a grin. She looked even prettier up close.

Sapphire bowed her head a little and put a paw on her chest. "I'm Sapphire... Nice to meet you Kai!" She looked back up and smiled again.

"Nice to meet you too." Kai mumbled as he nervously looked away. He tried to hide the blush that was creeping on his face. 'Curse my socail skills with women.' he thought.

Sapphire's ears lifted and she tilted her head as Kai looked away slightly. "Oh! Have I said something wrong?" She pouted slightly.

"Oh, no you haven't." he replied. He was definetly not used to talking to girls. "So, what brings you here?" he asked.

Sapphire smiled warmly and nodded to the tree she had been climbing. "Was having a little sleep and enjoying the beautiful day! But I got bored!" She giggled. "What about you?"

"I was just resting." Kai replied with a nod. "So, have you living around here for long?" he asked as he grew curious of the beauty before him.

Sapphire nodded. "I've been here a very long time! One of the first, actually!" She puffed her chest out proudly befre laughing. "But one of the last to grow... I'm a late bloomer I guess!"

"I see." Kai replied with a chuckle. "Do you have any siblings?" he asked out of curiousity. She reminded him a little of his sister in some ways.

"Well, not true siblings... but I have 6 sort-of brothers!" She laughed. "Dapple takes care of me most though... I don't see them as much these days, I'm out exploring far too often!" Sapphire smiled warmly and stood up, her ears perked.
"Say... how do you fancy going for a walk? It's a beautiful day after all, it would be a shame to waste it... and I'd love the company.."
