It wasn't the song, however lovely, that had actually drawn Rune to this place, his ears until jist now had been full of the roar of the cold river, chasing a fish downstream. The time of month had yet to come where he could actually slide into his seal skin again, though this behavior showed perhaps that he was becoming somewhat anxious for that transformation, though he was no small distance from the sea.
His particular nature did give him one advantage, and he could hold his breath for a startling amount of time under water, even in his human form, though he felt the chill of the water distinctly more as he surfaced from the water, his feet brased against rocks on the river bottom with a triumphant, loud cry of "HA!" holding aloft a brook trout with an glorious spray of water. This triumph is shortly followed by an startled "WHOOP!" as the slippery thing slides in his tight grip and starts to fall, and Rune topples again with an swat at the fish that sends it hurtling toward the bank, in tandem with the loud splash of him falling back into the water, resurfacing a few feet further down with a sneeze and shake of his soaking wet hair, the seal skin bobbing slowly to the surface to trail around his shoulders, as he looks around wildly for his prey, eyes settling on Aurora.
"Hello! Have you seen a fish?"

"Yes! Thats it exactly!" He crowed with glee, sloshing toward shore. His brown hair was plastered around his face, it's color, especially when wet, matched the drifting seal skin he was wearing seamlessly, and his clothing was plastered all over an a strong swimmers frame, for someone who wasn't even quite yet a teenager. "I chased him a long way! I bet he's delicious!" He noted, happily, as he climbed out onto the bank, futily wringing out the corner of his tunic before stalking over to reach for the fish before it could wiggle back into the water.
"You want some?" He inquired, grabbing it by the tail and hoisting it triumphantly. "I'm Rune!" he added a moment later. "I don't think I've met you, or if I did I forgot. What are you doing? Whats that?" He asked, nodding to the Lyre and the papers.

Rune sat down grateful and crosslegged, beaming at Aurora. "Hello Aurora! Isn't that the name of the pretty lights in the really cold places of the ocean?" He asks, curiously. "It's a nice name. I bet it's a nice song too. Songs are nice." He notes, before adding another question. "...You cook fish?" His expression as he asks this goes quite innocently blank and curious, as though such a thing had never occured to him. "Really? Whats that like?" He asked, adding. "I don't know how to start a fire. My skin will keep me warm until I dry." He noted, using one hand to pull the seal skin closer with a grin.

"It's My fur." Rune anounced, though this cryptic statement probably made little sense without explination. "It's warm. Feel it." He beamed, switching the fish to one hand and shoving a fin of the seal skin toward Aurora. It was, for something apparently once alive, now dead, an impressive work, as though the seal had silently slipped out of it and snuck away. Even the black claws on the ends of the fins were still there.

The skin was desidedly warm, as warm actually as though it were still the skin of something alive, though residual water still clung in places. The fur was thick and dense, and like the round body that would have gone underneath, was designed to keep the creature warm.
Rune beamed at the attention, wiggling slightly in place with the barely contained glee usualy found in someone a lot younger.
"Mmm." He noted, and put the fish between his teeth, tilting his head in an curiously playful fashion. "'Ike-is..." He muttered, around the scaley belly, winking, though he didn't bite.

"WEll...it's a little big to swallow." he admited, spitting it back out again, though he licked his lips, disturbing in and of itself probably. "I've never had Sushi. Is it tasty like fish?" he asked, beaming. The question about the skin gives him pause, as he turns the question over in his mind a few moments, then laughs.
"It's Mine! It's my other skin. I Am a man upon the and, and a selkie on the sea." He noted, sagely. He wasn't sure anymore where he'd heard the line, but he liked it a great deal. It summed things up very nicely.

"Hmmm. Sushi sounds very interesting. Do you eat it?" He noted, considering things. He tended overall to be rather blind to the unpleasentries of the world, but he wasn't as entirely oblivious as some might expect, and it had occured to him that Aurora really didn't seem too keen on watching him eat lunch.
".....I'll catch another later." he anounced philosophicly, and tossed the, unfortunaltey unlikely to recover, fish back at the river. "Did you know they have otters in land too? I haven't seen one though. I wonder if there's any around."
