Middle school student Poemi Watanabe wants to be a voice actress. Unfortunately, everybody knows that she sucks a**. So she goes about her life ranting like a mad women about useless things with her best friend Futaba Ausu (forgot how to spell the last name yet again) and chasing her dream boy K (yes his name is K. You know. Like the cereal). This all changes when a threat from outer space comes and kills her "father" and mother, the director Nabeshn and Kome-kome. So she ends up living with Futaba at her house and from there the madness ensues. 3nodding

Based on the story line (or lack there of), you can tell that this show isn't your average anime. To tell the truth, I really don't think there is a consistant storyline. But what it lacks in story, it makes up with in comedy factor. There are so many parodies and gags throughout the 2 episodes taht it won't even matter. Of course if you can't take jokes about sex, anime cliches, and fanboy obsessions with Japanese pornography than this anime is relaly not for you. But if you can take a joke and just not ask why so much then sure pop it in and hold on to your lungs.

Animation is very smooth. The style changes at times but it is really consistant. As expected from the makers of Excel Saga you can see little stupid details within the backgrounds that will make you chuckle from time to time (advertisements for their shows, Koshi Rikdo playing the news reporter, etc). There are also cutscenes with footage of real things taht really, wouldn't matter (what noise is playing in the background I will leave disclosed so when you see it you can lower your volume too).

The music in the show is the same exact music from Excel Saga, with the exception of the opening theme and ending theme that is.

So yeah. If you want a god comedy to just laugh your a** off with, then buy this show. If you can't take sexual inuendos and really wierd characters (Futaba's older sister is a dominatrix and her other sister Fuu is a prody of big breasted women). then do not buy this show. Enough said.

Ah. I liked it. Thought it was better than South Park. Laughed for weeks after seeing it.

Not really. Could just be that I'm a guy. Yet my mom was laughign so that may not be the case. But yeah. to each their own yah know? biggrin

I used to watch it but by about 8th grade (01-02 about) I just stopped and forgot about it. They lost their edge in my opinion.

I just like it because I thought it was funny. My favorite scene is still the nuclear war segment at the beginning of the second episode. I thought it was sortah cool how they only spoke in vegetable names

The only thing you really need to memorize out of that entire segment was the Giant Aparagus meant nuclear missile and Oh s**t! translated into AHHHHHH. Funny because when I first saw it, my friend walked up to me the next day speaking their vegetable language. The conversation lasted for about 10 minutes but it was funny. The scary thought is that we understood every word xp

I still feel sorry for K. "I knew K was a weird name, but I thought I was named after the cereal!". Poor guy. Supported fan service all over the world (and the weird theory of his that Japanese women can bend in every direction possible for possibilities. Nasty mind K. Nasty mind.).
