The black adult female was waiting for the younger male to take her home, it seemed to be taking longer then she thought and though she trusted he would get her home safely, there seemed to be the problem that they didn't seem to be getting anywhere.

"Are we lost?" Tailsin asked, somewhat confused as to whether or not they were. She was happy just waiting but she was so desperate to get home, back where she could be with her family once more and her friends. Her old life could be returned to her!

Having been up part of the night, talking to various non-existant life-forms, having a tried guide didn't seem like the best of ideas to have when you were really trying to get somewhere.

Which was exactly the problem Yua was having, trying to stay awake, while going somewhere his mind was juggling the directions for. When Tailsin spoke, the adolescent's head jerked up, as if his mind had just been jolted from a psuedo-sleep, before looking to her.

"Mm? Well.. umm.."

As his tired mind wrapped itself around the question, he almost drifted back into his walking sleep, before he shook his head and looked back to her. "Not QUITE. We're just.. not exactly where we should be."

Stopping, he looked back and forth, pondering where exactly they were, and if they needed to change course.

"I -think- I've been here before though.. so that can't be bad..."

She had put so much trust in this lion that she just hoped he was ok. He seemed tired and it uneased her a little. If he were tired and they were attacked...

She put it out of her mind and just listened to what he said and nodded. "I do hope it doesn't take too long, I can't wait to get home and see my family oh and my friends!" She sounded cheerful as she usually did. She was alert, happy and excited like a young cub going out on its own for the first time. She was nervous, anxious and excited all at once and she could hardly keep all her feelings to herself.

"Do you know how long it might take?"

He did his best to try and mask his sleepiness, and addressed the concerns given to him with a bit of a weary smile. "I'll try to get you home within the next couple of days." he said, insisting, in his head, to keep this psuedo-promise. Afterall, even though he didn't miss HIS family, it wasn't right of him to take his time getting her back to her own.

"Since I have a pretty good idea of where we are..."

He lifted his head up and nodded towards a direction to their north-west. "If I recall correctly, there should be a water-hole somewhere around there..." he explained in his reasoning...

Yua, if his memory served him right, had met someone there shortly after having left home. The one who had first helped him to figure out how 'hunting' worked.

I would wonder if I would meet him again.. he considered, a bit of an aloof look on his face, before he shook his head. "So if we head that direction until we find it, it could make for a good place to rest up a bit, and I could figure out the rest of our trip from there."

Tailsin noticed his sleepiness and just nodded at him.

"Well, you don't meed to rush, Im sorry if I seem impatient, I just want to see my family." She smiled a little prancing about as she moved. Her slim shape acting somewhat cub like.

The sound of some water seemed to be a good idea. "Maybe we can stop to drink and wash." She hadn't been able to have a bath in such a long time and would happily roll around in the water and play, just as she use to as a small cub.

She missed her mother and father, she couldn't wait to see them and her friends, oh and everyone else! She was excited.

Her enthusiasm was charming in the least, bringing a bit of a smile to his face as she pranced about. Yua himself lacked such enthusiasm, unfortunately, and, in a sense, almost envied that she had such things to look forward to.

"I think that would make for a good arrangement." he agreed, continuing to walk at the same pace he'd been keeping, pushing himself to keep going. Tonight, he decided, unless he collapsed first, he wouldn't stay up conversing with those that his companion could not see as well.

"Let's see how long it takes us to get there. If we get there by mid-day, we're making good time.. if we get there between then and sundown, we'll have to look out for another place to camp out at tonight." he said, planning as he walked.

His thought process was interupted by a yawn, before he shook his head to rid himself of his exhaustion. Or at least try.

"Deal?"

She listened and slowed her prancing to a walk. "I am happy to do whatever! I don't want you to be uncomfortable as you are being so good to me taking me home!" She smiled and looked up at the sky. She couldn't wait to get home, her anticipation was growing and she wanted to be home but he was being so good to her and she didn't want him to get too tired or upset or... well, anything.

The black lioness let herself calm down a little as she still had a way to go and was worried that her energetic behaviour may tire out the adolescent even more then she had already. She was so thankful.

"How can I repay you? For bringing me all the way home?" They weren't there yet, of course, but there wasn't ever a bad time to ask about such things.

Yua paused in his steps at the inquiry, his brows furrowing together as he considered this. "... I wasn't really expecting to get anything in return." he stated bluntly, then shrugged his shoulders a bit, resuming his walk. But he couldn't help but think on it for a while, the inquiry almost seeming to distract the poor boy.

"... Actually...".. Pause. "No. Nevermind." he shook his head quickly again, forcing himself to refrain from asking. It wasn't any of her business. He'd just have to look out when he got back to the lands. But.. no.

".... I don't think I'd be able to ask you to do such a favor for me.. so in truth, I would say you don't have to do anything."

But he couldn't help but seem a bit troubled by whatever it was he was fighting with himself to ask her about, then again, he didn't want to drag her chipper persona into his life in such a manner. Even if it was for the sake of clearing the slate.

Finally, he decided to change the topic... "I have a sister back home."

She turned to him curiously as he started to speak but yet he stopped. "Please, say something.. I would like to help!" She watched him curiously.

A sister? She tilted her head slightly at him waiting. She wanted to repay him and she didn't mind what it was. "You want me to tell her something?" She sugested only what she could think anyway.

Yua sighed a bit. She was -very- good at guessing. "I was considering such a thing. But I would die to think at how she could take a message from her bumbling little brother and his idiocy." he explained, smiling a bit, his strides picking up speed, almost as if half-distracted from the thought of his only family.

"When I left home.. I thought I hated her. I was convinced that if I'd been the only child, mom and dad would have loved me, since they didn't know what a normal child was like."

He shook his head.

"Wiza was more important than that, though.. she was their 'normal' kid. And did everything she could to undermine me." It amused him to talk about her in such a way. "But.. she's still my sister.. y'know? I don't think I will ever see her again.. but.. I can't help it."

She listened carefully to what he said, a little curious but she wouldn't ask him to say anymore then he would willingly.

"What do you want her to know?" She was willing to pass on a message as after all it was only going to be a message. She smiled softly and then looked to that vast sky she liked to admire.

"I would be happy to give her a message... any type of message." She was willing though if his sister through it back at her Tailsin wouldn't be the happiest of lionesses especially as Yua was bringing her home.

"Tell her?" he paused in his speech to think about this for a minute, simply walking in silence while he mulled all the options of things that could have been passed on time over time, over time again. What did he have to say that was worth anything to his sister?

Not that he forgave her. He had, for sure, but that probably would have meant nothing to the woman, if she was anything like he could recall her being.

".. Tell her... that I'm not mad at her for being how she was to me. I think that would settle well." he decided, nodding firmly, before stopping completely, closing his eyes to simply listen to the area around them.

They were...

".. It's still mocking me." he stated, almost as if expecting Tailsin to know exactly what he was speaking of. "We must not be too far from where my own adventure away from home began."

She waited and listened and without a doubt got very confused but as always she smiled politely and nodded, saying the words over and over in her mind. She must never forget them.

"What was her name?" She couldn't find her without that. She had a feeling he had said it once already but she couldn't remember, he had never really said much about himself so it made sense that she didn't know much.

"I will find her and tell her your message when we get home!" She spoke in a happier voice, feeling somewhat relieved at the prospect of nearly being home. If his adventures started around here somewhere then she had to be nearly home, home meant family and family meant happiness.

"Wiza. Her name was Wiza." he repeated it twice for good measure. He himself was cursed with short memory at times, thus he bore no problem in telling her again what the name of this 'cursed sibling' was.

He smiled a bit at the sudden burst of excitment that came from the girl, just nodding and smiling. "I'm glad. I won't hold it against you if you don't. I'll never see her myself to actually check and see if you did." The way he spoke it, however, was almost an invitation for her to forget the whole thing had ever happened.

Yua's head jerked to one side suddenly, as if he were watching something that had just run off, his eyes narrowing a bit, before his head turned to look where it had come from.

"..."

then, after a moment of thought, he decided to head in that direction.
