Lovebeam cantered across the beach it was becoming rather cold for her up north so she had decided to go to the desert for a while, then she ended up coming here. Everywhere she went the stars in the sky were different and she liked that. Although some times it strange and she did miss home even though it was freezing cold. The sun was sinking on the horizon and Lovebeam stopped to watch. She adored the sky and all it’s wonders, everything it had to offer. The mare reared up on her hind legs; something she rarely did, she usually kept her composure. Lovebeam pretended to touch the sky a smile played itself upon her muzzle.
Lovebeam rested her 4 hooves back in the sand, as she continued watching the sunset. The same clouds and colors were on her. Bright orange clouds streaked across her white hide, her mane was brilliant pink and blue, with purple and teal. Her hair and hooves sparkled too. Her eyes crystal blue watched the calm ocean and how the colors reflected upon it as well. There was so much to do in life, one couldn't just stay in one place all the time although if she had wings it would make it so much easier.
Lovebeam silently wondered if there was anyone around... Perhaps some one to talk to would be intrested in sharing the glories of the sky with her. The mystic looked to the sky and wondered what fate had in store for her.

Mahavir trotted slowly through the now cooling sand while he watched the sun slowly make its way behind the wide ocean. He'd been wandering around strange and different areas now for a quite a while; looking for the place he wanted to stay. Being the adventurous horse he was, not any old place would do. But the ocean had a strange effect on Mahavir, an alluring effect. He just couldn't take his eyes off its crashing waves or mysterious depths!
As Mahavir continued to trot along, kicking up sand as he went, he did a double-take. At a first glance, all he saw were stripes the golden sunset, but they were too close to the beach. Looking again, Mahavir realized that he wasn't alone. There was a mare standing on the sand a little ways away from him. Curious, Mahavir headed silently over to where the mare was.

Lovebeam flicked her ears back hearing hoof beats on the soft sand. Her ears were quite adept at hearing even the lightest sounds although she too heard his kicking of sand but she chose not to react until it approached closer. The sunset mare turned her head toward the approaching stallion. Her long mane flew as she turned her head. Fate had been kind to her and brought her some one to talk to. A tall as usual she figured proud stallion. The tattoos on his legs and his face intrigued her when she noticed them. He had some of the most fascinating tattoos she had ever seen. She determined with their intricate designs unique no other one she had met had such amazing designs. Just like herself, the brightly colored mare chuckled silently.
“Good evening” she said her voice filled with an aura of mystery and the chime of crystal. Lovebeam was glad for the company on such a silent night. She had recently had many silent nights, some of which she did long for the company of another and to hear a voice of something else besides the creatures of the dark. The sunset lay behind the mare and when the wind picked up blowing her mane it seemed as though she was part of the sky to those looking toward her at the right angle. “What’s your name?” she asked the red-golden stallion breaking the silence.

As Mahavir continued to trot towards the mysterious mare as she spoke; her voice sounded like music against the crash of the waves.
"They call me Mahavir," he replied excitingly. It'd been a while, in all his roaming, since he'd seen a friendly face. Sure he'd seen other horses, but either his travels keep him from getting to know them or they wouldn't bother themselves with him. This place was nice though, and Mahavir liked the ocean. The thought that he might also be able to make friends attracted Mahavir to this place as well. "Now that I've told you who I am, maybe you'd like to tell me who you are?" Mahavir suggested politly.

"A pleasure Mahavir" she smiled then added "I am known as Lovebeam." The orange clouded mare looked back to the ocean scene for a moment and thought of it's peaceful beauty unchanged unmoveable, it would last eternity. Atleast this stallion was polite, she had know so many that were rude and concited although even that didn't bother her though she kept herself even tempered and tranquil.
"What brings you to the beach at this hour Mavahir?" she asked kindly as she began to walk over to a palm tree, the sand felt good on her hooves as she walked, it was nice and warm. Lovebeam knew many other soquili but she hadn't really ever gotten close to another she had always been a wanderer and never stayed in one spot to long so she never really knew anyone else.
The mare sat herself under the palm tree and watched the sunset, as the sun sank beneath the horizion the sky darkenend and the stars would come out soon as would fireflys. She had been here once before with some one but it was a brief meeting and it ended quickly.

"Lovebeam....the name suits you." Mahavir smiled as he followed the mare toward the palm tree. "Well, for some reason, I have always been drawn to the beach," he answered looking up, "Maybe it's the way the sun looks as it sets over the horizon, or maybe it's the stars."
The sky became darker and darker, but Mahavir did not mind. He loved to lay or gallop at night, under the glowing moon and glittering stars. Perhaps it would be even better with someone else to spend it with, he thought standing a few feet away from Lovebeam. Mahavir didn't want to scare her away by sitting too close, so he sat down a few feet away. His tattoed markings seemed even more noticeable in the dissappearing sunlight.

"Thank you Mahavir," she said politely as she listened to his explanation. It was wholely true in all means. But she still preffered to wander more than anything but it prevented her from having a family. She looked out across the ocean once more to watch the sun as it set. Dark spead slowly as the sun retreated.
The moon rose and stars appeared, this was a nice night. She acknowledged he sat beside her not too close and that was fine. She sat and watched untill it was completly dark Lovebeam smiled.

Mahavir watched the yellow sun as it slowly faded into different shades of pink, red, and purple. What an amazing site it was. But after this wonderful show of colors came the blackness of night.
"It seems to be getting quite late, I'd hate to keep you out." Mahavir suggested while he slowly rose to his hooves. "It wouldn't be safe for me to just let you walk back to your home alone, so I'll walk with you."

"My home is far." she replied "its in the north, I came down here to escape the cold winter chill and I am returning tomorrow morning." she said tossing he head back toward the sunset. "You may leave if you wish, I too would not wish to keep you from prior duties." Lovebeam wasn't usually tied down to anything and had a wandering spirit.
The stars shone and the moon was out, this scene brought a smile to her muzle. She didn't need a stallion to take her anywere. She just smiled.

"The north you say?" answered Mahavir "I've never been where it's cold before. I tend to stay by the ocean." The sun was now only a small sliver over the horizen and the stars began to appear in the sky. "It's no problem," Mahavir said with a slight chuckle "I honestly do not have anywhere else to be."
Mahavir had just recently left his old home, a small pasture many miles east of where they were now. He didn't have family there, so it was easy for him to leave. The place had been too...ordinary for him.
